Looking forward to the next photos! I left Aylesbury years ago but it still holds a special place in my heart because I was brought up there and your photos bring that strange mix of nostalgia and yearning. We were lucky to have that mix of town life/country life
Mi abuelo Thomas Henry Field, era de Aylesbury. Llego a la Argentina en 1914, a sus 27 años de edad. Formo una hermosa familia de dos hijos varones y una mujer. Tuvo 11 nietos y ya Muchisimos bisnietos. Gracias por las fotos de las calles que mi abuelo habra caminado. Saludos 🇦🇷
Huge market on Wednesdays and Saturdays in Market Square when I lived there - 1944-1964. Used to catch my bus to Leighton Buzzard to go to school from Kingsbury Square ( section 1). Remember when it was mentioned by Bernard Miles on Workers Playtime - big buzz.
The sad part is I lived in Aylesbury from 1971 to 1992, I always missed it after I moved and still thought of it as my town, but I barely recognise any of the 2021 pics. So much has changed since I left, it's not my hometown anymore 😪

Mostly changed for the worse regrettably.
The bucks county council building is ugly,the main library has friendly staffs.
Seem my comments in part 1 the place is a terrible dump read
