One thing I would add to make the install smoother: I took a sharpie and marked a line from my mirror stem to the perch so I could install my mirror back in the exact same position I had it. Sharpie easily wiped off after.
3:05 - @Advanblack - You may want to update this video to remove the "Apply Loctite" portion. Otherwise, a great video (Steve is always a great teacher) 😉😊👍
@@M0rtis421 I still have the pictures I took and sent to Advanblack that showed the breakage and on the first set I received, the sticker was not applied. I even did a screen recording of the Advanblack video with Steve applying Loctite and saying, "...apply a little bit of Loctite..." The second set that Advanblack sent had the "do not use Loctite" sticker. I stand by my post AND by the handguards. They are fantastic and they did a brilliant job with the color-matching. Ride safe!!!
Just what I've been looking for and at the right price! What is different about the cable clutch models that prevent these from being installed (I have a '22)?
@@Advanblack Thank you for the video, there are no instructions that come with them in the box, great color matching on the snake venom, they look awesome; I'm not a wrencher, so, video was great.
I've got mine but I have a constant problem of the wind catching them and moving them into my clutch and brake lever. any advice on how to keep them in place? this is my first Harley so any advice would be appreciated.

Great video and product..question...I have tightened the mirror nut as much as it will go and the guard still moves going 75 down the highway...any suggestions?? Thank you Steve
Same question. Love the product concept and execution, it just seems like they will move. The design should have a feature to fix the location that doesn't rely solely on the mirror nut torque.
Do these come with mounting bolts if you do not have mirrors on your handlebars? I have a street glide and the mirrors are on the fairing. I have the holes on the handlebars where these can go but currently no mounting hardware.
I’m just going to say it. The decorative rubber things are stupid. These guards get covered in bugs, and cleaning them with the stupid rubber inserts is a pain in the ass. They would be awesome without the rubber rubber parts.
*I heard that someone that works at a shop that I take my bike to that people have lost fingers, after accidents, with the metal ones. I would rather have metal ones, but I'd rather keep my fingers.* *I won't be going with these, because they don't make them for the stock blinker, under the bars set-up. I don't understand why they can't make them, to fit, if Memphis Shades has them.*

good tip!
I have a 2011 Street Glide hand guards do they make them for the 2011 Street Glide 8:00
I just put 12in bars on my bike. I think these would look good on it. That and it would help up here in Michigan with the cold weather
Wow!!! These are beautiful!
thanks Bob!

Just got mine and while inspecting them noticed the sticker that clearly states to NOT use Loctite.

That looks very cool - wonder if you have a low rider ST bracket …
i hope so! Stay tuned my friend!

Looks great. Any idea if there will be a version for bikes with turnsignals mounted to the control housing?
Does it matter if the bracket is under the lever ?
These fit my 2021 Road Glide Limited; close to the clutch cable depending on how far out you want/need to push them.
thanks for checking out the video...mine were close too so I adjusted them out slightly.

Sooper kool, I like the gaurds🤣🤣🤣!!! Hiya, Steve!!!

Same!
@@Poptart_Az so I have found the only thing that works for me is to tighten the hell out of them.
Star washers
Nice product.
I just installed mine tonight then I saw this video and I have to know, what type of grips are those?

Are these hand guards available in UK ?
Yes, we do can deliver to UK
What is the difference for the brackets between 2010 and 2013 for the hand guards?
We offer brackets for both of them
Great video and product..question...I have tightened the mirror nut as much as it will go and the guard still moves going 75 down the highway...any suggestions?? Thank you Steve
try a little blue loktitie or add a split washer on the bottom...try those..I added some blue loktite and solved it
Did you use the loc-tite? I haven;t had any problems going 80+; I have a 2021 Road Glide Limited, so the fairing does give some wind deflection...
Thank you! I put a different nut...seems to be tight....

Will these fit a 23 road glide?
yes
What kind of bars are those?
Road 6 customs "naked" bars.

yes they will come with bolts and acorn nuts
