Glad the video is here, I was not sure where to get started. Installation was pretty easy and only required me to pull the seat and side covers on my 19RGS. They look the bomb, so glad you can buy these color matched!
After watching this video, I couldn’t help but notice that the left side top bolt uses the same hole as the adjustable low back rest lever. I’m thinking I can just use the one nut for both items??? Might be good knowledge if you do an update to this one.
Great video all the way up till the install began. Not sure what the idea was here. Each time the camera was Out of focus or too dark or mechanics shoulder was in the way of the work area preventing us from seeing what was what.
Hey Steve just received my advanblack air deflector my question is I have a 2014 flhxs and the bottom hex hole where the fitting goes in to. Does the fitting insert from the front or from the rear that I screw the bolt into? I’m getting conflicting answers. Thanks!
I have a 2021 Road Glide Special with the adjustable backrest switch that mounts on the right side. Any tips for installing the right side deflector with the switch?
We just did one as well we cut a bolt head off and screwed it in that way you can place the seat switch threw the bolt and the added the nut. After we figured that out it worked like a charm
There are several pics on google images with stock tanks and stock side covers, There is no difference in the 2014 to 21 models so no need to select 2017 unless you want to see a specific color. Here are some examples from our Pinterest Board pin.it/32kRWM3

Except not in roadking. There is no nut. It's a hole and it's pretty deep in the frame. I recommend crush bolts.
