  • Although I would have liked to wait until this plant was actually in flower, the sudden demise of my ready-to-flower mullein earlier this year tells me to make the video when the opportunity arises. Now you get to reap the benefits!
    Also, I have no idea whose cat that was but he's very sweet and has super soft fur

    Hi Wren, thanks for another great video, we have this plant here in Australia on our roadsides too (I'm guessing it's the same species). I plan on trying to locate some this Summer to harvest.

    Thank you for making this video! I've been seeing this plant more and more in my surroundings; now I know its name! Turns out it's called King's candle in my native tongue, seems rather fitting.

    I love that u paused for the cat then told us about it. And oh yes! I had this come up in the cracks of my driveway. I tried to transplant it and nope! It’s not doing so well.

      I also have had no success with transplanting, my two best mullein plants are the ones that seeded themselves where I didn't want them 😅

    We use the flowers as an herbal tea, good for cough and congestion
