Back in August, I shared my first theory on who I think dies in EastEnders this Christmas. And now, with Christmas Day just around the corner, in this video I share my final predictions, with a deep dive into all the clues that might point to it potentially being true.

That said, with the pace the show’s been moving at recently, I’m glad I’ve been working on this right up until the final episode before Christmas aired. He hates Keanu and isn’t a fan of Nish.
Makes sense to call the main man for help.
I had a new theory pop into my head today that there are two deaths, but one is a suicide (possibly Keanu after finding out Albie isn't his), because all of their faces are more of shock rather than despair - and then the murder upstairs. Let's see! Either way I really liked this video and your insight, really detailed and well presented. Roll on Christmas Day!

Keanu is a fairly weak character. Phil finding out he is the father of Albie could be the reason.

I had a feeling rocky would commit suicide, recently he's been looking very depressed and nobody seems to be to talking to him.

Fab video as always, also when Linda first saw Dean's reflection in the picture, she showed Kathy to which Kathy basically said we've got your back, which at the time thought was a bit strange, firstly Kathy and Linda although friendly enough aren't exactly best friends and she used the plural we'll have your back why wouldn't she just say I'll have your back

I think its Nish purely because him being alive makes it impossible for Eve and Suki to stay on the square. Ravi would be in serious danger now too now that he knows he didn't go through with killing Eve. The show wouldn't dare to kill off Phil unless Steve McFadden was completely done, and it definitely wouldn't be murder.

I believed your original theory for so long but then later started to think it was Nish it the end. Especially since as he felt the most likely throughout the storyline. Hence I knew some sort of twist was coming with the episode. The 7 bells still links too, as the full trailer includes 7 bells in total and links due to the 7 men all being involved as well, as well as the number of suspects for the whodunnits. People have said before the teasers link back to dirty den, hence the link between some of the characters. I think Kathy will kill Nish with a stool. While I think Linda will stab Dean upstairs. In lots of the confrentations across the year, both the bottle and the knives have had significance. One thing I noted was a shot on Thursday night showed Elaine with Red nails like the rest of the six. Plus Phil's infedelity with Emma I think will also come out on Christmas day.

@@TalkingWalford I just love the thorough effort put in to the video - it’s obviously been very carefully edited and scripted, it’s the kind of diligent work on Eastenders content that the BBC used to do with their countdowns and such (I’d love to see Top 10s or tier lists you know)
As for the theory, I’ve heard it suggested there would be two victims but nobody has really explained how and why until now - it’s a much better prediction/theory than I’ve been able to come up with and I think it’s a superb and satisfying exit for Rocky - that’s the part I most want to be true.

I really like your theory. I'm torn between Nish, Dean and Theo. If Theo finds out that Stacey played him and that she slept with Jack, he's going to be out for revenge. If Nish dies, Suki and Eve can live happily ever after on the Square, the cafe can remain as a cafe, and Vinny can make something of himself instead of being Nish's lapdog. Whatever happens, I hope we get a Nish vs Ravi and a Phil vs Keanu showdown 🥊
Saying that, if we're to expect the unexpected, Ollie will probably end up killing "Uncle Dean" to protect his mum 🙃
Thanks for your comment! I think Theo being the victim would be really disappointing to be honest. I don't think he's a big enough character and I can't see compelling consequences to his death.
So denise smashed a bottle over nish head, nish is still alive while linda has stabbed keanu in the back meaning keanu is now dead.

Nish would be the only perfect person to kill off because he is the only one to wrong all 6 women. Phil hasn’t done anything wrong to the point where he would deserve it, if anything his actions just make you want too root for him. Jack is a pain in the arse atm but he it only effects 3 of the 6. Ravi is nish’s lapdog and even though he is a prick, again he only has been acting on nish’s orders plus we have not seen much interaction between his daughter and baby mum so I think they will continue that storyline at a later date. Rocky is leaving anyway but he is just a pathetic man, i don’t think he’s anyone’s main priority. Dean is disgusting and once upon a time i would have thought it was him but he came back way too early and i don’t think him dying now would make for a good storyline. And Keanu, well i hate him too but again his beef will only interfere with Sharon so i don’t think he will die by the women’s hand, Phil is more likely to bump him off if he dies.
*Spoiler Edit:* So if you haven’t watched the Christmas episode I don’t suggest reading the rest of my comment. I’m actually shocked and little bit disappointed with the outcome. It’s funny how I said that if Keanu dies it will be by Phil’s hand, turns out I was kinda onto something there. The only difference is that I was wrong about the six not being responsible. And I’m disappointed that it wasn’t a double whammy, I wish Suki did not revive Nish.

Phil is not going. He's on a break as normal doing the panto season, but he was filming Aunt Sal's funeral after Christmas. I think it's Nish. Dean has apparently signed a contract for a year. But I do think the two secrets of Albie's true paternity and Keanu's setting up of the fake kidnapping will come out. At the church? Will Keanu run away? Will the women be there supporting Sharon?

I’ve been hyped for the Christmas Day escape ever since we got the flash forward teaser! The first person that came to my mind was Deano especially after we saw him through that reflection in the picture with Shirley I knew he would return and then you made that theory video and great video btw keep up the good work👍in the video where you said he would return on Christmas haha at the time it seemed so perfect I thought you was a insider and knew somebody who worked on set but yeah ever since then my mind kept changing as well but I still believe he will be a victim along with Nish.
This new Chris Clenshaw era of Eastenders has been a fun ride and very enjoyable I’d say unmissable. Anyway hope everyone has a merry Christmas and enjoy the show I’m still expecting the unexpected😁🤔

I think your theory is on point n I can deffo see that. I think you should do a vid on characters likely to return for the 40th anniversary, I feel like Janine gets out for "good behaviour". It needs excellent characters like that.
Thank you! I'll definitely have a video out about the 40th anniversary. I have so many ideas about how I'd like to see it play out. So many! Both the 25th and 30th anniversaries were fantastic, so I have high hopes for the 40th.
Lauren and Penny are both returning in January -- so wouldn't it make more sense for it to be Jack to die?
I read somewhere that apparently Lauren and penny are back for aunt sals funeral, and someone said their was pictures of the cast for the funeral.and even Phil was there so that rules Phil out.
I'm thinking their pre-announced returns could be a red herring. I personally think it would be a real shame for Penny to return without her dad around. That's an interesting dynamic that's never been explored.

It was great on Friday when Linda forced Dean to confess that he raped her, and then she slapped and kicked him. I only wish (hope?) she had recorded it as he did with her false "confession"
I was thinking the same! If he doesn't die on Christmas Day, perhaps that potential recording could send him down...
I now believe there could be three victims on Christmas Day. I noticed how you didn’t really explain where Ravi fits is into this and here is where I think he will:
Nish will not be the body in the Vic because he will already be dead by then. At Christmas we know that Ravi helps Suki to escape the family meal being forced upon her by Nish (presumably to the pub) which will likely lead to a violent altercation in the Panesar House between Nish and Ravi. Since Vinny, Priya, Nugget and Avani are also in the house at this time, I think that one of them will go into the kitchen to try and diffuse the fight. I think this will be Nugget, who will hit Nish in the head with the multi-coloured vase belonging to Priya and Avani, in an attempt to get Nish away from his dad. Nish will die as a result from this.
I think your theory for Dean could be 100% correct except maybe Gina isn’t present at all. After Linda hit Dean recently, maybe he will just be upstairs alone waiting for her and will attack her on sight and she’ll be forced to kill him. I think she may summon Sharon upstairs to confide in her about what happened with Dean and work out what to do.
As for the body downstairs, I think you could also be correct about Phil and Keanu coming into the pub earlier in the episode and fighting. I think they’ll both leave after Keanu finds out he isn’t Albie’s real dad and this will seemingly rule both of them out of being the body. But I think Keanu may return later, incredibly angry and demanding to see Sharon, who by this point is upstairs with Linda. I think the four women inside will all do their best to prevent Keanu from seeing Sharon, and in the scuffle to stop him, they will all shove him and he’ll hit his head on something (possibly the jukebox) and die.
When Sharon comes downstairs, with Linda following shortly afterwards, they will find Keanu dead on the floor and the four other women looking shocked and confused.
This would make all five women besides Sharon the killers. I suspect the Boxing Day episode will open with Jack possibly hearing the commotion going on inside the Vic, assume it’s Denise and Stacey arguing and will walk in to break up the fight and find the body and the Six standing over him. I can see Jack covering up the two deaths for the women as you explained.
Wow... this is really interesting actually. You're right; my theory doesn't touch too heavily on Ravi. I was actually very close to stating Keanu as the downstairs victim, like you suggest, but I wasn't convinced his death would have the same narrative consequences. You could be right though. There's a lot that points to him being the victim, including those rather staged looking shots of him at the airport. On there being three deaths... I think two would be pushing it as it is but that would *certainly* be a shock! Thanks for your comment. We'll soon know either way! Do let me know what you think to the actual outcome.
@@TalkingWalford I just feel like something must happen in the house after Suki escapes to the pub with Ravi’s help because surely Ravi would not allow Nish to follow her? So there must be some kind of altercation. And it’d be a pretty huge twist in a way if Nish is killed mid-way through the episode as even though he has been an obvious contender throughout the storyline and the audience will still get what they want, nobody would really expect it to happen that way as they expected him to be the body on the floor instead. And I think Nugget will be the killer because he is the only one in the house who has always stood by Suki and the fact that if Nugget kills him, it kind of forces Ravi and Suki to get along or at least be more civil with one another to protect Nugget.
I really think Keanu will be the body on the floor of the Vic and this could be the only reason Bernie is still around the square. There has to be someone to ask questions, someone to go looking for Keanu when the six (and anyone else involved) conceal his murder. She also conveniently got a job in the Vic not too long ago. Sounds to me like it’s intentional to make it more difficult for the six to cover their tracks (Linda experiencing guilt of seeing Bernie worrying about Keanu every day for example)
Though I could absolutely be wrong and that’s what’s made this story so special whatever happens. There’s so many possibilities. And even the most well thought out arguments such as your own, or mine could very well be completely wrong. It’s insane the amount of effort been put into this.

Thanks for watching! This was my original thought too actually but, in the end, I decided that I think it would be quite distasteful for the show to have Dean attack yet another woman. Also, logistically, I think the BBC is required to give warning in advance if an episode is to feature sexual assault, which they haven't for Christmas Day. So I think if Linda does attack Dean in response to seeing him and Gina, she'll maybe misinterpret what's going on.

I still say Max may return and find out about Annie. But why is there blood on Sharons dress? Maybe Nish is poisoned and collapses after someone whacks him, so maybe the person who thinks they have killed him actually hasn't.

It happened back in May after Ravi attacked Keanu for nearly getting him arrested for dealing drugs. Nish then warned Sharon and Keanu to back off Ravi, which led to this scene. Hope that helps! I think it's one of the early seeds that ties Sharon to Nish, including the fact that he tried to undercut her buying The Queen Vic.

Yes it makes sense that someone dies upstairs, as in one of the promo shots there is a man in the window upstairs in the Vic.
I like your theory but I can also imagine Keanue and Dean squaring off. They have been for a while or maybe Keanue is framed for Deans death somehow. Linda and Keanue have got history from when Martin tried to kill him. Either way I'm looking forward to this episode. Just don't kill Jack. Also I remember over the years it's been claimed Jack has covered up murders while being an officer. He said this to Janine years ago when tied up in the club. His older brother Derek also mentioned this in front of their brother Max and David Wicks. I'm very intrigued to see what happens.

Good theory however I don't see the women working with Jack after releasing Nish and Ravi especially not Suki or Stacey, also I think Nish said before he put all the businesses under Vinnys name so Suki didn't have control over them. I don't mind Dean dying if he dies upstairs and someone else dies down stairs but if he's downstairs and the only victim then for me that would ruin the whole storyline I don't really see who else could die upstairs apart from Dean so if there's one victim I hope it's not Dean I don't think it'll be Rocky or Ravi then u have Jack and Phil which in my opinion would be the most surprising ones, I think Keanu will leave on new years day, and then Nish seems like the obvious suspect so does Dean tbh and EastEnders always like a twist which makes me think it's possibly Jack but then his daughter Penny is coming back with Lauren and I don't see why they'd kill him off with them coming back however in the promo pictures they are both wearing black I can only see Penny going to Jack's funeral but who knows, whatever happens though I think ur right that it'll lead the 40th

Ahh, I really hope it's not Jack but I have seen some pretty convincing theories about him. I don't think it would align with the story of these women taking down a bad man. He's not a bad man, regardless of how badly he's been acting recently! And I wouldn't like the show to lose such a recognisable face.

I personally think Nish and Jack will be the victims on Christmas Day. I would not be surprised if there will be a twist where Eve will be involved either deaths since Nish wanted her dead and Jack made a call to say she alive.
Killing Nish is a terrible idea. A developing character and an obvious figure won't make for great writing.

I think Dean would tick that box to an extent. He joined the show in 2006 and was a main character in 2014/5. I agree though that if the victim is solely a new character either created or re-introduced to be killed, it would be disappointing. That said, I also really don't want to see Phil or Jack leave permanently and they're actually the only two characters in the official line-up of potential victims that are long-serving.
@@TalkingWalford True although Phil has cheated death about 900 times and i can't ever see him being killed off. It makes sense to me it being Jack but we shall see. There could be a couple of deaths maybe 3 or 4.

Accidently ofcourse, as they were meant to kill JACK with the KNiGHTs 'Sword'🗡, but Jack moves out of the way and the Sword plunges into CALLUM😥
I've heard this theory a lot actually but I do hope it's not true! I don't think Callum would align very well with the narrative of bad men getting what they deserve.

I sort of hope it isnt nish and ravi dont get killed they are really good characters make eastenders better,was wondering if it a red herring it none of the seven suspects, i was thinking if it could be zack because he could be the best man to sharon wedding and nish or ravi try to attack one of the six ,then zack tries to protect them but gets killed, i reckon gina and dean will sleep together upstairs in the vic or dean will try to rape gina ,then Linda kills dean by hitting him over the head with something, i always also thinking maybe jack could die , if nish and ravi find out jack kept them prison they could kill jack. I think on the eastenders christmas day, the wedding will happen first, keanu says to berdnette she cant live with him and sharon become she knows that kenu was behind kidnapping ablie, so berdnatte tells phil that keanu was behind kidnapping ablie,phil then goes to stop sharon and keanu wedding says to sharon it was keanu idea to kidnap albie ,then sharon tells keanu there phil is ablie father ,then i reckon keanu just goes then maybe phil gets married to sharon instead because his ablie father, then suki and the rest of the pansers celebrate christmas day,then ravi suddenly knocks on the door and turns up. Then nish goes looking for eve and maybe kidnaps her, then the six our in the pub celebrating sharon wedding to keanu or phil , reckon jack with be denise in the pub as well then ravi or nish finds out about jack putting them longer in prison ,could be a fight between jack and nish or jack and ravi, or maybe phil ,zack or keanu vs them both. Then i reckon one of thems buried nish or ravi ,but the 40th anniversary they come back for revenge. Like to see phil vs ravi that be a good fight.

Ngl…. Episode fell a little flat for me. 7 months of waiting for it to be keanu. How does the six trailers make sense with the episode. No body upstairs ….. so what is Linda cleaning in the trailer. Decent episode not the best tho

It would certainly be very obvious but that obviousness could be outweighed by the shock of their being two bodies I think.

The body on the floor in the flash-forward would have been a stand-in for the real victim for the purpose of the shot. If the real victim was lying on the floor during that shoot the secret would be more liable to have been leaked out. The same way major film studios manipulate their film trailers to digitally remove characters from spoiling shots and replace backgrounds to keep things secret.
that’s sharon’s hand checking the pulse and she purposely covered theirs so it doesn’t rule out the darker skinned characters like nish and ravi

I've been unable to crack that one. I did think they might return because Jack gets injured... but that obviously wouldn't align with him actively helping The Six cover up the murder/s. Perhaps he'll get hurt in the fight and wake up in a hospital, unaware of what actually happened. That would be a very big twist actually.

Very interesting theory, i personally do not know too much to work it out (due to missing loads this year) but its always said expect the unexpected, maybe everyone is looking into this too deep maybe them clues/coincidences are purposely out there to throw us off scent but surely there are some clues right.? I personally think there will be multiple deaths, i dont think Phil dies as he is an Iconic Character. We know Rocky will be leaving Eastenders but too obvious to be a victim. Keanu could end up leaving walford anyway as nothing to stay for but not be killed. Jack, i dont think so i cant see them ladies being a Cop killer and it could be good to have a copper on your side. Could it be Nish & Ravi one after the other. Or could an unexpected twist be.. We've been teased by a fake Mick text to Linda only to be Dean, but i do hope Mick comes back, what if he did walk back in after a year of thought to be dead and ultimately Kill Dean. Wishful thinking i know.
Sorry I've been no help or had a real answer. But you never know something big could happen in NYE episode too.. we all fixated on xmas n another twist may appear or another death for New Years.
