You raised some good points but I wanted to comment about a few things: 1. Emma: While I don't entirely disagree with your criticism regarding emma I do feel like that's basically who she is we never saw lola's dad so it does sort of help explain why she's behaving like this as she's a complicated character with a 💩 past with lola's dad can you blame her for feeling like she's a failure especially to lola? Now, it's unfortunate she left again AFTER sleeping with phil so didn't help her further so yeah I see your point why emma sucked as a character 🤷‍♂️ 2. Ben: again I don't entirely disagree with your criticism regarding ben's character especially around this storyline before & after it but I do feel like he's a rather interesting character because of the problems he was put through this guy's life is pretty messed up SERIOUSLY! While perhaps he gone back to his old ways too often I do think from the last few storylines in particular the male rape, bullmia & lola's cancer storyline actually helped shape his character better though unfortunate he returned to prison as a consequence of credit card fraud 😅 ben is a combination of issues especially men can relate to which is why I find his storylines very interesting you get me? Hopefully if he returns he really develops as a character more not put him through more issues where he'll react the same as before like you said you see? 😂 3. 😅 funny thing you mentioned old storylines people may forget e.g. honey's eating disorder storyline while referenced again & I think it's incredible ben bonding with honey there but the issue there was that we hardly saw a conclusion to honey's you get me? Didn't she leave to live with her mum but after lockdown she's somehow cured? 4. Was lola's storyline a mistake well...I hate lola was killed off early but yeah I agree they executed her exit storyline so well & many people can relate to her 🤷‍♂️ it's hard to say it's a mistake.

Here I thought he is rescued but he lost his memory of being himself i.e. mick carter, starts living a different life with a new name, finding another woman, marries her them have children then something jogs his memory so he decides to return to walford to find his old self again 😂

Surely Linda would break the news to babe and go to her and tell her what happened to Mick to find out he's there because she would have to know about Mick so. Maybe you know she's hiding him or linda hasn't gone and hold babe about mick

I feel that babe will resurface through the George storyline.. Elaine or Linda will remember babe used to farm babys and look for her.. she didn’t burn the book so will have the name of the parent… they will then possibly be lead to mick.. which maybe we’d see pan out over a long time as she hides him as he has no memory but makes herself present on the square. Seems too many coincidences with him going missing near where she may be and the farming storyline back…

I will say looking back the trailer song "What Kinda Man" was a nice link to all 7 men it could have been. I thought the song was directly meaning Nish would die but actually it matches all the men due to the storylines across the year. I also noticed the lighting in the vic is way more darker than the flashforward - this may have meant the darker tone of episode (as well as the later air time) but also the intensiveness of the scene of Both Nish and Keanu. I always had a feeling that the duff duff to the flashforward would come into play as we all believed the episode at Christmas would end the same way the flashforward did so that was clever. Even still with what actually happens, the cards still add up as well, as the two hearts could be the partners it affects (Sharon and Suki) or teased that two men were going to end up having a similar fate. The 8 card for the 6 women and two men, the vic where it happened, 10 for the characters who were in the pub after the wedding (the six, Dean, Phil and the two other men). Like I said before, the two weapons felt obvious due to how they were teased and in the episode itself I figured that might've been the actual murder weapon. I noticed in the clip of Keanu and Nish's fight, he goes to throttle Nish, much like Keanu did to Sharon. I also wonder whether Rocky's exit may have changed since we know that he quit when Eastenders didnt want him to. (Slight coincidence with Ben being axed now too)

Keanu would never have been at Aunt Sal's funeral even if he wasn't dead and it's annoying how many people are saying it. Like Keanu hardly has the best relationships with the Mitchell's does he? There is no logical reason for Keanu to be there

I really enjoyed your review except for the dozen times you replayed the stabbing of Keanu.

I'll be honest with you, I didn't expect it to be Keanu. I really did think it would be Dean from the moment I saw the February flash forward. I thought they could afford to bring him back just to kill him off. I'm quite sad it's Keanu as felt they was mileage with him and Phil going at each other regarding Albie.
