I'm obsessed with the S&B Epsilon series. I had never found a product that I 100% fangirl over more than that sketchbook. I send love notes to S&B on instagram all the time, making sure they know that they better never stop making them hahaha. I went a little overboard at the store buying too many just in case. Cos, you never know.
The epsilon is basically the lighter paper weight version of the Zeta. I never needed to go up to the Zeta because the Epsilon, although "thinner", holds up so well under almost any circumstance. It's not meant for heavy watercolor/ink washes but it still holds up so amazingly well.

Thanks so much Kyra!!! It does take practice that is for sure. I think the key is to add light layers! People apply watercolor too heavy at times and it makes it very hard to build up the color. Thanks for all your love and support!

What kind of pans do you have in there? I heard you mention Daniel Smith. I love watercolors when they get those watercolor dimples.
Yep Daniel smith is what I use in this palette.

Loved hearing about all of your favorites. I can't wait to get my pencil case! I may have to try out the B6 size at some point. If you find a color like the mermaid in daniel smith please share because I would love to get it! I love that color but definitely like my daniel smiths behave more than janes.

How has the carbon ink worked in your fountain? I was told carbon ink would destroy my regular fountain pens. I love the carbon ink and am super attached to my platinum carbon pen, but i would like to use the ink in another pen.
I never used it in a really expensive pen. Just my lamy with a fine nib and it worked great.
Is the inside bottom of your watercolor tin completely flat? Mine have ridges so I can’t get the pans to lay flat
Mine doesn't have ridges, it has circle indentions where the feet are on the bottom of the palette. I have stopped using double sided tape and moved on to sticky tack! haha I think different brands have different bottoms, my schmincke set has the ridges.

I think you really been to organize your thoughts before you hit record, you seem a little scattered making it a little frustrating to watch.
I’m sure you are right, but everyone starts some where.
My take on this is that you sound "conversational" vs "preachy/teachy." I felt like I was talking with one of my sisters. 💖
