Horrible. Went through custody battle and drained my savings and racked up 20,000 in CC debt to pay for my attorney. Court is finally done on Monday. Also Was supposed to be laid off from job as well so I got another job & then was never laid off. lol so now juggling 2 full time jobs and been working hard on paying off all that debt 🎉 2nd job pays OT and have only had 2 days off since starting 2 months ago lol I’m tired but focused and grateful 🙏🏽 2025 is going to be so much better ❤ Gods got us 🙏🏽🙌
Girlfriend me and my niece were talking about this same subject. There is nothing like seeing those zeros building up in your bank account. You want to get to a point where you don't have to worry about a thing. Continued success in all your endeavors.
I don't know if it's just the way I hear you speak, but being a single parent doesn't have to be a liability. There is a common belief that being a single parent means you are struggling financially. or just overall. A lady I work with said her husband said to her stop working so hard, "You're not a single mother", he then said, why do you act like you have no money? It's because she doesn't and that is why she works the way she does. Even being married she can't depend on him to be financially responsible. She told me he was responsible for paying the utilities and they were on budget billing which is when they average your yearly bills and charge you one amount all year so you don't have big spikes in electric bills. He missed a payment so they got kicked off the program. He had her homeless and many other incidents. I say this because having a spouse doesn't equal stability in any way. I see many coupled women complaining that they can't pay bills on 2 incomes. Don't compare yourself to anyone, Some couples are in worse shape, but would have you believe they must be doing better because they have a partner, not a good partner, but a partner. I hope this message finds you well.
Awesome reflections!!!!! My 24 has been good. I've been saving for a long time for a down payment and I'm still going at it. I have a new level of comfort and freedom now -compared to 5-6 years ago-. I couldn't be more proud of myself. I celebrate you, sweetheart. You are a Rockstar. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Loved the video. I have a bills account that I keep separate. I also do the over budgeting of utilities. I invest but never look at them. I just let it roll. Financially this year God has been good. My goals for next year is to continue building our emergency fund and adjust to the financial changes of being new parents
Awesome Commentary ❤❤❤❤. I love the buffer concept. I practice the buffer account with overpaying my utility bills . (I mistakenly doubled paid my electricity bill one month and realized it saved me when I had to pay for unexpected car brakes during routine oil change/tire rotation service visit. I was able to pay my electricity bill late that month but not really…😊😊😊) God has kept me and my fam with house repairs . ( being proactive as much as you can us better than be reactive is so much better) Please keep up the awesome commentary and see you in 2025.❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😊😊😊😊
I had an ok year until now. I got some money from a car accident and was trying to save it. Then all hell broke loose, My toilet had a crack in the tank and I had to get that replaced. With the car accident money, I call myself preparing for Winter cause I heat by propane, so I brought gas and two electric heaters then the hose in my furnace has holes in it and I can't get the part until January so I'm only using electric heaters. I'm just glad that I'm in a place with God that not too much really bothers me anymore, I just endure. I need to get a buffer account and I do over budget for varying utilities but not as much as you. I usually just save a portion that I'm not using for bills in my emergency fund. I will take your advice on having a buffer as an emergency fund for my emergency fund.
I enjoyed this video.. I completely agree with having a buffer. It has saved me many times. I also agree with over budgeting for some utilities, property taxes and insurance. The amount can fluctuate month to month. But, I disagree with not touching your investments. I have had to touch my Taxable Brokerage account. In 2024, I had unexpected large medical bills, car repairs and not to mention increase cost of living. My emergency Fund couldn't cover entire amount. Healthcare expenses are no joke... I am so grateful for this investment account. It's my life account. 😊 You are doing a great job. .keep these videos coming. 😊
That’s exactly what she said in terms of having an investment account. She doesn’t want to pull from it but sometimes life life’s and it’s good to have one just in case you have to
I need to do the buffer with my bills account. Currently in milder months (I’m in Texas) I pay $50-80 over on my utility bill (water, sewer, trash and electricity all one bill) up to $200 total so that in the summer and winter I have a cushion. This would be better as an overalll cushion I think. I live in an apartment so my expenses don’t vary a ton and I don’t have maintenance expenses. I’d like to be a month ahead just as a safety net.
This year has been great for me financially! Still young, living with parents but this is the first full year since really buckling down and researching, learning and getting serious about my finances. And was able to hit all my financial goals for this year. Projected 6 month emergency fund done, catching up with retirement and now i can get serious about looking for apartments to move out.
Never heard of this person. She just popped up. But what she talking about budget? In the first 10 seconds, I am seeing her house and she looking rich. $$$$$$$$. Girl, what you do? How much you make?
Totally off topic! I noticed that you've had your braids for quite some time. Do you refresh the perimeters? Do you wash it? How long has it been? I used to get braids often, but it would irritate my scalp. I got tired of wasting money getting my hair due to me not keeping it up. I'm learning how to braid, but for the life of me, I can't grip to save my life.
Honey I’m almost to 1 year with these lol. I wash them and have refreshed them numerous times! I sweat in the gym so I can’t be bothered with my hair. When they look overly grown out I refresh each individually so I can moisturize that strand and snip my ends!
@@DyanaMariiewow! I thought you were redoing them all this time! They look amazing! I thought my daughter having hers in for 9 weeks was long 😂 makes so much sense though! I’m thinking of learning how to do some jumbo braids so it doesn’t take as long but then they wouldn’t last as long soooo 🤷🏻♀️
Thanks a lot for this. The year is already coming to an end and I know a lot of people are depressed that they did not do well this year but this is Me trying to encourage you that it's not late. My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Thanks to larysa Caba, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.
I feel one Of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the ma rket is that we end up losing all we have, making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet. My biggest advice is to always seek the services of a professional just like I did when I ventured into it for the first time. Big thanks to Larysa Caba. I now make huge profits by weekly through her services while still learning to stand on my own.
I know Larysa Caba. she trades for everyone I meet. I met her twice at a meeting in Germany and after her lectures from Ella I had to personally ask her to be my financial advisor. she is definitely good .
I have never seen a trader as open and transparent as Larysa Caba with her clients. The way she decides to make a profit for her clients. she allows you to express your fears and she still rests your fears and that is my respect. I don't normally comment on videos, but this word should be included. she is really cool.

@ yeesss.. soon enough we can rest !!! 🫶🏼💪🏽
Oh my goodness mama there’s nowhere left to go but up! His plan is coming into alignment but I’m sure you know that. Hold on!

Same for you!❤
I loved this whole video!! So many great nuggets! 💜🌻🌷
So glad❤
VERY HARD FINANCIALLY AS A SINGLE MOM OF 2 TOO... here in France
Lifting you up, we’ve made it this far!❤
It's called a Life Happens fund. For the reasons you list.
Hello, Thank you for sharing. Is your buffer like an emergency fund, or is it a little different from that? I just want little clarity on that.😊
That beginning part lol 😂
Love this video ❤
Thank you!
Can you share how you started investing ?
Yes!
Do you just leave the buffer in your checking acct? Or move it to a buffer acct after bills are paid?
My bills account is a basic checking account. Everythings stays there so it has its own buffer in that account just for bills.
Never heard of this person. She just popped up. But what she talking about budget? In the first 10 seconds, I am seeing her house and she looking rich. $$$$$$$$. Girl, what you do? How much you make?

You’ve been keeping up with them very well. Seems simple and I kind of been doing the same. Your growth must be amazing.
@ thank you! And yes I’ve cut my hair numerous times when cutting the braids because I wasn’t used to the length it is now!

Making over 48k monthly is all because of her.
