I loved basic training. The run ya, they feed ya, they bathe ya. They'll even teach you new tricks, and give you dog tags so you won't get lost.

The ASVAB is something I believe that every student should take before graduation, regardless of their intentions of enlisting.

No video on youtube will fully explain what is going to happen when you join. Just get on the bus to basic training and do what they tell you. It's nothing to stress about. It will be the best decision you ever make as long as you choose to make the most of it.

1:20 I live in central New Jersey and have two years at a car dealership making above minimum wage with 10 hours overtime. I cannot afford to eat and I can barely make rent. I will be joining the military not necessarily because I want to, because it’s the easiest way out of all of my problems.

I graduate college next year with a bachelor's in management. I hate my retail job in management and want something bigger for myself. I cannot imagine working there for the next 10 to 20 years. I think I would rather die across the world somewhere. Really thinking about either the Navy or Air Force.

This is the first time I have heard of any Americans who recognized Toyota Corona.
Growing up in a developing country in East Asia, Toyota Corona and Carina both were still produced and made until the late 90's.
Now they replaced by Tyota Allion & Premio

everytime i here these stories it always sounds like "I had to struggle because of america's lack of structure and planning for its citizenry just to bust my ass to try and get in the door to defend it" there's so much potential that almost seems flattened by america's paradoxical culture.
