I hope you enjoyed my journey and my experience living in Bali, even tho it was cut much shorter than expected by my scooter accident and there was still so much more I wanted to discover. ( I crashed, not my brother, and no one died, whilst writing this video a year later I created the ending to feel as if that could have been the end for me given the nature of it, however looking back on it, It actually seemed very much as though someone did, so apologies for this ) To those wondering about my masterclass. Due to my accident and some downward energy afterwards, it has been very delayed and is currently still in the planning stages. However it's on the way and I'll be making it into an incredible course for those who want to learn my ways of creating. I'm also not living in Bali anymore, due to my accident and other things but even though Bali is a great place to meet other creators and feel apart of something more, I learn't my home, Melbourne is a much more viable and realistic place to work on my projects and ambitions, so for now I'll be here grinding! Also apologies for any adds in the video, I chose to use lots of non copy-write free music and that means automatic adds /:
It did, he's definitely done his research. But in that regards, I thought it was quite cliche. Seen so many documentaries done the same way. Would love to see more creativity.
the ammount of work put into this video is UNBELIEVABLE everything is modified with mind blowing precision, shout out to you buddy you deserve waaay more subscribers.
Ive been a full time digital nomad/expat for the last 18 years, at 20 years old back in 2004 i started my first ecommerce company in Europe, and realized i could run the business from anywhere in the world so i went travelling around the world for 2 years while growing my business which was the best feeling in the world because i was growing my savings WHILE travelling, i was probably one of the first humans to ever be able to do that. After 2 years of travel i settled down in boracay island Philippines and made it my home while still travelling about 50% of the time but having a base in the Philippines. If you're thinking of going travelling or getting into this life, DO IT, TODAY! start today. Its a whole different universe to the 9-5 in your home town.
dang 2004 its like the first period of internet era, in 2009 high school i feel like i can doin anything with internet but i choose corporate job when i graduate, my parent choose it actualy
Benn, I don’t know why, there is something in your editing and story telling, that always touch my heart. Your passion reflects through your work. Why this kind of masterpiece can’t get the reach…!!!?? I want millions of people see your videos and appreciate your work, thanks for giving best 14:39mins. ❤ I live in Sydney, hopefully one day i will meet with you.
How on earth you're under a million subscribers is beyond me. Always enjoy watching your stories and insights into life mate! Hopefully you didn't do too much damage. As someone who travels and works a lot I can relate to the challenge of finding the right place to focus and knuckle down on work.
Apart from your accident, this video is sick, Benn. Unreal transition, incredible effect, great 3D map, smooth story telling. You officially are my new favorite video creator.. ❤🎉
I am very glad to hear that no-one was killed in the scooter accident. It came across to me as if your brother was the one with the accident. On another note: this is by far the best-produced, funniest video with so many great ideas that I have ever seen on RUclips, and I watch a lot. So greatest respect, also for your courage and I hope you fully recover and find the energy to carry on producing videos. All the best to you! Ralph from Germany
BENN! This video is SO WHOLESOME! Apart from all the amazing visuals and effects, it also inspired me afresh. Here in South Africa I sometimes feel completely isolated in the RUclips Space but it's guys like you and Niklas who keep me motivated! I also stayed in Bali for extended periods and it's exactly how you describe it, well done bro you smashed it!!! So bummed about your crash, I had a few near misses myself and I'm always nervous when traveling far or going through the busy areas. Keen to see the next one!
Thank you so much man! It can be a lonely path sometimes when we venture into the world of content creation, crazy to hear its been similar for you! I guess there are many of us! Appreciate it dude!
I first came across your video and I'm completely shocked by how well it was filmed, how well thought out the change of frames is, how everything looks aesthetically pleasing, graphics, transitions and effects are a separate respect, I have not seen anything like this. It can be safely called a movie or series that is above the level of Netflix. A very well presented story. It's a pity that under the video I can leave only one like, because I would leave a million of them here!
Hi Benn, i am so touched by this video, not only a mentioning, but you literally made me feel special, not every big creator could do this. So grateful to be a part of this Benn, i miss you and hope to see you again in the future! Youre famous as a transition king, but your story telling is so inspiring bro. Keep it coming Benn🔥
Kudos to you brother for doing what you love! Left a comment on this video too, his first 2 minutes resonate with me identically, Bali is an inevitable chapter of my life too. Maybe cross paths one day!
Thanks so much bro! It was awesome meeting you and of course! You were a big part of the journey! Keep flying FPV drones like a magician bro! We”ll meet again soon (:
Having lived in phangan and Samui Thailand for six and a half years I've seen many videos bigging up tropical climates like Bali. I lived in ubud for one month and the traffic is a nightmare. These videos rarely mention the downsides... one of the biggest being it's like living in a 30 degrees steamroom sauna all year round which is insanely draining for energy levels and you become trapped inside Aircon spaces for most of the day until 5.30pm when it starts to get cooler then it gets dark at 6.30pm. Bali is a paradise but too hot to explore in the day except for one hour, which is the hour when the mosquitoes come out late afternoon 5.30 pm to 6.30pm. I'm going back to UK as Ive had enough of the insane heat and humidity, it causes work productivity to go right down
That's honest. Even as an Indonesian living outside Bali and only came to Bali for vacay, Bali is too hot for me. Yes B is still beautiful. After all, it still takes a lot of adjustment to adapt everytime we move somewhere else. At the end of the day, we all have the right to choose where to live, just somewhere with the least damage and draining for us
My Brother Ben, I must express how deeply I admire your unique style in presenting scenes...😌 The tranquility it brings to my soul is akin to having experienced a heartfelt cinematic masterpiece...🌟♥️
Beautiful bro! I can relate to this. It feels like living between two worlds. Time we all start collaborating in this RUclips space and inspire a new generation🙌🏽 Beautiful video!
This is inspiring man, i resonate completely.. 26 y/o coming from Melbourne, i know how isolated you can feel going for this path while everyone around you is lost in a daily loop. You're a risk taker and bet on yourself. Melbourne is a beautiful place with an amazing vibe, the people are also great, but there's more out there to be experienced, so many places. Probably walked right past each other in the city without even knowing it haha. This is awesome and shows the potential thats out there for anyone.
You've grown into one of the best RUclipsrs out there, you tell a story like no other, manage to make it truly touching, put in so much love into the project with great attention for detail and you have incredible shooting and editing skills, turning the video into a work of art. And you're only getting started! Wish you well Benn, stay safe!
Been watching you for a long time. Your cinematography has always been insane. And now your storytelling is getting there as well. This story was off the charts. And I loved how you ended the video. Good to hear your getting better ❤
what an amazing story, this is the first time I have seen and felt a vlogger like a life journey and made it like a documentary or film like a box office... this is very cool in my opinion. a new content idea that no one has ever created or imagined. and it makes me feel like watching a hollywood movie...keep up your amazing work
This videos finds me in the right moment. Last couple of weeks were so stressful - insecurity, self-doubt, feeling alone, feeling not good enough. A inner battle that seems endless. The only way to live your life as a winner is to "chase what excites and live it widly" just like you said at the end. Thank you for this video, for the inspiration and the motivation! Get well very soon. ❤
Brother, you're an undiscovered gem when it comes to storytelling and video editing. Absolutely perfect, can't wait to see more! I have the same wish as you, maybe one day me and my life partner we'll be able to do this leap. We love Bali so much, we've been 3 times and it's really close to our heart!
This was one the greatest videos I’ve ever seen on RUclips (and I watch a lot of filmmakers content!). Dude….wow wow wow! I’m so glad you’re doing better after the accident and that you’re still committed to launching that course. I’ll definitely be having a look at what you’re offering. Lastly, I had a very similar experience as you with moving to Nosara, Costa Rica during the pandemic and having it not work out. 5 days ago I decided to do RUclips full-time and this video came into my feed at the perfect time to help inspire the journey. Much love, Benn. Happy Healing.
Brilliant work Benn, I’ve just left Melbourne after 6 years myself, currently in the Philippines and heading to Vietnam this weekend. Your video makes me realise how far behind I am , but I guess I can only get better 👍👍
I'm glad this appeared in the feed while I was searching for Bali. This video is pure magic 🎩 Thanks for being a gifted storyteller and mesmerising editor, Benn
THIS IS DEFINITELY THE MOST WELL CONSTRUCTED VIDEO OF YOURS!!!!!🎉🎉🎉 I love it so bad🫡but I didn’t expect the way you end the movie… I’m glad that we knew you were fine now!
Making music for a living since 2015 in a smalltown in rural Sweden. I also feel very alone in this creative journey. But I have tried living abroad and I felt even more isolated and far from family. A place like Bali which is full of creatives is something I wish to try sometime! Amazing video!
Your travel videos are a true inspiration! The way you capture the beauty of each destination and share your experiences is incredible. You've ignited a passion in me to start making my own travel videos. Thank you for being such a motivating force! 🌍✈🎥
Thanks so much! glad it gave you some motivation that's so awesome!

Hey, that video was on a whole other level. I can't even begin to imagine the hours and effort you put into this one. Crazy... From storytelling to shooting to editing... And my gosh that SOUND DESIGN. WTF. All the best dude!
Wow. I can’t tell you how much I relate to this as a creator in a vacuum of “normal” life back home. I’m actually moving to Bali for a few months, for similar reasons, and hopeful that I experience and love it as much as you have. Hope the recovery is going well and looking forward to part two.
I've been watching your videos for 3 years now and I can see the progress you've made as a video maker. Hats off to you! Great story! Hope to meet you in Bali or around. Cheers👋
This video is one of the best videos that I have ever seen, in terms of story telling, transitions and elements. Such a unique style, but amazing. Well well done 😆☺️
This video and your story is so captivating. I have lived and worked in Melbourne for 10+ years. I’ve just come back from Bali and toying with the idea of living there and starting out as a content creator. As a tropical fruit and sun lover it ticks a lot of boxes. But the transport thing is the ONE thing that has had me hesitating. There really is no viable way to get around other than a scooter. So timely I stumbled across your video and story. This video is a job well done 👍 I’m hanging out for the sequel!
Great story telling. The cliffhanger at the end with the family photos scare me. I had a similar experience with my friend. It was starting to rain and we were riding back to our accomodation in the middle of some village west bali. My friend had an accident when a villager break abruptly. My friend was injured and they brought him to a clinic where the doctor didnt have any idea how to help or the equipment to help. We had to get a lorry to bring the bike and us back to the accommodation. Next day we took flight back to our country and went to hospital
After watching lots of videos about Bali from different channels, I have to say that your content was the best. No need for more words. Just amazing the way u have it done. Best of luck and enjoy your life
Dude your editing, filming and acting skills are insane!!!!! I’m soooo inspired! Keep doing what you are doing you are awesome! I want to be you when I grow up oh wait I’m a million years old…🤭😅😂😂😂
I'm Javanese, Indonesian, but I've never been to Bali.....with this video story, I hope to go on vacation to Bali another time 🥰🥰🥰🥰. Amazing filmmaker 👍👍👍
Thank you for visiting Bali, Indonesia. It's so nice of you to promote or let people out there know about one of our islands Bali in Indonesia. Remember that Bali is one of our Islands in Indonesia. Oh we still have a lot of beautiful Islands like Bali, such as Komodo Island, Nusa Island, Banda Neira Island. So don't forget to come back here!! I bet u'll like it!!
You’re getting a pass because you have genuine talent, but I have to reiterate what I said under the last video I’m tired of the “I’m going to Bali to find myself” stuff and Bali in general. It’s soooo over-saturated at this point I can’t even bring myself to talk about it Having lived there for 2 years I never want anything to do with it again Canggu influencer circle jerk is the most annoying place on earth. It’s full of wannabe travel bloggers, cardboard personality girls hunting for an influencer bloggers and two occasional RUclipsrs filming a new DJI commercial People love the “paradise” because it’s cheap and warm, and if you’re a creator - as a bonus, the nature does most of the work for you Anyone I’ve ever met who says “this is my home, I finally found a place where I belong” says the *exact same thing* about Ibiza or the gulf states as soon as they’re able to afford those Go to Sri Lanka, go to Maldives, go to Kenya, go to Reunion Island or Madeira for god’s sake. Bali is dramatically overrated and I can’t stand watching it regurgitated again and again anymore This video is excellent, like I said, you’re certainly very talented, butt it hits every single Bali cliche in the book 🫠
I can't fault that, and after 2 months being there lots of these things were becoming evident. Especially the disappointing influencer side, it is cliche absolutely, and so overdone, but it was a journey I had to experience for myself. I'm glad I did and now I know.
Also, I can agree with you, Max. It also depends on where you live in Bali. I've been living with locals for a few years now and life is very different than the influencers show ;) And actually you can still find cool places here, but you also need to know where to go. Cheers!
@@globeinthehat Sumberkima is great but once I got to Sumberkima I kinda realized I'm running out of barrel to scrape 😅 I would definitely recommend living in an area with mostly locals vs Canggu, esp now with how insane rent has gotten
I left a similar comment above, but this hits the nail on the head. These kind of comments are hard to make but they come from a place of love for those of us who have followed this channel for a long time.
Your video appeared as a recommendation...i came back from Bali a bit more than a week ago already after 2 weeks of holiday... and oh i wish i was there still...but definitely my biggest fear while having to move around the cities was transportation..i didn't drive but my partner did.. he has experience and i really trust him but gosh the way they drive the bikes and cars there is something else plus the roads aren't much of a help..thank God nothing happened and I'm so sorry you had that bad experience...i hope you are getting better..I felt worried something really bad happened with that ending. And in another note...your videos are insane! The transitions are so smooth and wonderful and the image is like watching a movie... keep going 😊
So much appreciated when someone is sharing a lot of personal things from his life. And a big surplus that you do it with an EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY!! Thank you for Being You!!!!!!
Incredible story telling, we felt like we where there for the whole journey. Bali truly is a beautiful place. We had a similar scooter experience on our bali journey which lead to 5 stiches in the knee and eventually requiring intravenous anti biotics. Bali hospitals are scary. Those pot holes and dodgy roads up the the north of the island are so rough, could have been the exact same road as well. Took us a month to recover while we had some touch and go moments, im sure yours was even worse. Looking forward to the next episode and im glad you are ok, keep up the epic work legend.
One of the best Video i have ever watched in my life. Truly work of an Art, i hope one day i will also travel the world and live my dreams. You even used "John Newman's" "Love me again" one the favourite songs of all time from Fifa 14 also one of my favourite game of all time. Thanks for this memory and reignition.
I dont know how to label this video but this is the best "travel/motivation/self-improvement" video I've ever seen. Seriously touched me man! The ammount of dedication and hard work you have put it, the story telling, the color grading and sound design are just on another level. I hope I see more videos in the future!
You poked the right point of viewers audience need these kind of new approach for content and you have justified it i can imagine the amount of hardwork you put into this video i want you to know that it worked my friend it worked.keep rolling like this
I have no words!!! I can say is the best video production that I ve ever seen👌🏼You touched a new level of content creation!!Literally my reaction all the time watching it🤯😍
Crazy how he says he mixes in the “play hard” with the work hard, but he still has to work to record and edit the videos of him “playing hard” @benntk is nonstop! 👏
definitely my most fav videographer. after so many years, you're still the only content creator that put lots of efforts in every single video. never regret being your subs since under 100k subs. keep on going and stay strong.
For over a decade of watching RUclips content, I never ever commented on any video, but this one hits me deep... You are not just a great cinematographer but a brilliant storyteller as well. Goodluck. Cheers 🥂
Amazing storytelling and the effort on the graphics is just immense. Hope your recovery went well. We also had a trip cut short from a scooter accident last year, we were in Greece and got a bit sideways on a dusty road. It looks like you had an unforgettable time in Bali regardless of how it ended and I look forward to your next adventure. Keep on inspiring us Benn! 🙏🏼❤️😁
Dude, I remember meeting you through mutual friends when we were both Cabinet Making. Leaving the Peninsula to be around more like minded people was a great choice. You are a great storyteller, and your videos and content are so epic. It's so awesome to see you kick ass. Keep it up, looking forward to the next one 🤜🏻
Benn my bro! I definitely related hard with this video and the alienation that comes with our career choice. Mad kudos to your insane VFX and storytelling skills... this truly was a different Bali video. Keep on inspiring the world man. Hope to travel together soon!!
I hope you enjoyed my journey and my experience living in Bali, even tho it was cut much shorter than expected by my scooter accident and there was still so much more I wanted to discover.
Cheers👋
Thank you very much! And also for following for so long! Appreciate that a lot 🙏💙
Easily one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. Such inspirational moments in this video!
You've gone from a great Content Creator/Filmmaker to a compelling storyteller.
You have become a reference for a lot of people.
Another masterpiece. Thanks for always being an inspiration.
I want to be you when I grow up oh wait I’m a million years old…🤭😅😂😂😂
you and your friends is the best!
Unreal transition, incredible effect, great 3D map, smooth story telling
I bet u'll like it!!
not the roads, obviously people like to die on the roads over there
@@AlxzAlec HAHAHAH fr tho
You’re getting a pass because you have genuine talent, but I have to reiterate what I said under the last video
I’m tired of the “I’m going to Bali to find myself” stuff and Bali in general. It’s soooo over-saturated at this point I can’t even bring myself to talk about it
Having lived there for 2 years I never want anything to do with it again
Canggu influencer circle jerk is the most annoying place on earth. It’s full of wannabe travel bloggers, cardboard personality girls hunting for an influencer bloggers and two occasional RUclipsrs filming a new DJI commercial
People love the “paradise” because it’s cheap and warm, and if you’re a creator - as a bonus, the nature does most of the work for you
Anyone I’ve ever met who says “this is my home, I finally found a place where I belong” says the *exact same thing* about Ibiza or the gulf states as soon as they’re able to afford those
Go to Sri Lanka, go to Maldives, go to Kenya, go to Reunion Island or Madeira for god’s sake.
Bali is dramatically overrated and I can’t stand watching it regurgitated again and again anymore
This video is excellent, like I said, you’re certainly very talented, butt it hits every single Bali cliche in the book 🫠
Cheers!
@@Benn_TK yeah, absolutely, I'm by no means criticizing you for doing it, we all do it at some point 😁
The graduation test is realizing it haha
@@globeinthehat Sumberkima is great but once I got to Sumberkima I kinda realized I'm running out of barrel to scrape 😅
I would definitely recommend living in an area with mostly locals vs Canggu, esp now with how insane rent has gotten
Wait!! But did you survive the crash?! 😨 also loving this series bro 👏🏼
Haha! Yes! Spoilers alert, thank legend! 🙏
So much appreciated when someone is sharing a lot of personal things from his life. And a big surplus that you do it with an EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY!! Thank you for Being You!!!!!!
This is the standard for content creation. Im actually so inspired by the production. This is just beautful
A very smooth storytelling style. I can't skip any portion of the video. I'm so much involved in the movie. Very welldone
Ben, I love the way you present things, lots of love to your work 🤍
One of the best Video i have ever watched in my life.
Wow! No words for this video! It’s amazing 🤩 This is better than any documentary or movie! Loved it so much!! Wow! ❤
Goosebumps brooo, simply breathtaking. I feel the need to immediately buy a ticket to Bali and redesign my life. Thank you for your inspiration
This gotta be one of if not the most well made/cool video I’ve ever seen on a personal RUclips channel.
You poked the right point of viewers audience need these kind of new approach for content and you have justified it i can imagine the amount of hardwork you put into this video i want you to know that it worked my friend it worked.keep rolling like this

One of the most beautiful and successful stories I've seen. Excellent.
Crazy how he says he mixes in the “play hard” with the work hard, but he still has to work to record and edit the videos of him “playing hard” @benntk is nonstop! 👏

fan of your work ! your story telling and editing skills are top notch . keep up the great work
definitely my most fav videographer. after so many years, you're still the only content creator that put lots of efforts in every single video. never regret being your subs since under 100k subs. keep on going and stay strong.
The quality of this video is amazing! You have a new subscriber. Keep up the good work
And this ladies and gentleman, is storytelling and flashy visual effects with intent 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
For over a decade of watching RUclips content, I never ever commented on any video, but this one hits me deep... You are not just a great cinematographer but a brilliant storyteller as well. Goodluck. Cheers 🥂
What is theis editing man Is this a movie , colour grading , narration , background music . Everything is perfect , this is we call exceptional
Thank you so much! ahh sorry to hear Ive heard of a few accidents in Greece too, definitely have to be so careful!
@@Benn_TK for sure! I hope you find your community in Melbourne like you had in Bali 🙏🏼❤️
Wow, I feel like this is the only REAL movie! Amazing story and awesome shots! True inspiration
I am always amazed by your craft. Hopefully I can create mine in the future. Keep posting amazing short story videos.
Just love this, is like watching a short but great film, stay safe my friend ❤
It's so cool to find these accounts with videos better than a movie... Keep it up!
God damn dude your transitions are NEXT level. Impressive going from cabinet maker to this!
This may have been one of the most incredible videos I’ve seen on RUclips!
this is the best thing I’ve seen on RUclips for a long time! Keep up the videos!
Really enjoyed watching your film. You have an awesome life ben! Keep creating awesome films
Benn my bro! I definitely related hard with this video and the alienation that comes with our career choice. Mad kudos to your insane VFX and storytelling skills... this truly was a different Bali video. Keep on inspiring the world man. Hope to travel together soon!!
