Thank you sir! This is the most straight forward tutorial
So happy to hear that!
Great video! I just forged a hollow hook yesterday and this is super helpful !
Thank you so much !!
So happy to hear that, mate!
Andy Thanks for a very helpful video presently I only have a Mora hook knife. I know it’s dull but have been unsuccessful on getting a proper edge on it. I will give it another try
I hope it helps!
Awesome! How do you figure out when it's time to sharpen? And when you're sharpening at a super high level like 7000, can you actually see the burr, or do you just feel it? Thanks!
Sharpen when it stops feeling fun, and strop all the time! You can still see the burr from time to time up at that grit, but like you say, you are more likely to just feel it catch on your finger a little bit. Thanks for watching!
Great info
🙌
thanks been waiting for this one
Happy to hear that! I hope it helps 🙂👌
Привет. С новым годом. Благодарю за фильм :)

Very quiet but informative video, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you great video! Now I know what I have been doing wrong! Cheers
So happy to hear!
Awesome video Andy. You inspire me all the time. What is the brand of your hook knife . I love the size.
Happy to hear that! This is the Beelzeboo Crafts "Fer" 👌
Awesome thanks! Is that a larger hook knife than a "regular" one you might find in a kit? Mine seems to take so much longer to even make a dent but I'm not sure if its the edge or not. It took ages right out of the package
This is a fairly standard size, and I do tend to use a larger hook to rough out the shape. It can often just be a bit of a time consuming process!
Hey Andy where is that hook knife from?
Hi there, all the details are in the description 🙂👌
