Thanks 🙏 for the visit ❤️ What you said just made so much sense. Why force dormancy if you do not need too! Hope you are having a marvelous Monday my Friend ❤️❤️🌸
Hello Trish, I am also willing to get one of your Hibiki keikis rather than the "green" dendrobium. I'm sorry for your struggles with mealy bugs. I think I saw a glass jar with dead or culled orchid name tags. I just started my jar of orchid tags of those that have moved on to the orchid fairies. Thanks for returning to the Saturday Stroll.
Hallo Linda 🙋♀️ Yes you did see my “graveyard” of orchid 🏷️ 😂 I think I started it about 2 years ago and do look through the tags from time to time and consider if I should replace any. There are some that I would like to replace, but not in a big hurry at the moment. Hibiki it is! 🌸❤️
NOOOOO, not Pinot Princess Scary!😲 I couldn't bear to see you lose her too.😢 Fingers and toes crossed, she makes it.🤞🙏 Ive lost a few also. This has been a rough winter for many of our orchids.😵💫 If you have enough keikis on your Den Habiki after you get to everyoneon the list, I would love to have one. Have a great week, Sherrii
@TrishsOrchidLife Trish, She will be yours to do with her as you wish. She grows so big, so fast that I just can't keep up with her. I bought her on Etsy 4 years ago as near blooming size. I have had to divide her into 3 pieces twice. The last time was in Jan 2023. I kept 4 back bulbs, and now there are about 12 bulbs in various stages of growth. She never rests, grows year round, and blooms at least 3-4 times a year. Her most recent blooms were in October and again in December. She can be a gorgeous specimen plant with good care, I'm just not able to do that. Thanks so much, Sherrii❤️
If my house was on fire, first I would grab my laptop. It has a database I built with all my orchids, tropicals, and other houseplants plants. The database includes everything I would need for an insurance claim. Then I would grab all the BIG orchids I could hold, mostly Dendrobiums, Oncidiums, Cattleyas, a Potinara, and a Vanda.
Omg, how awful for you! You must be tired hunting down all them white fluffs. How did you do it? Spray? Wipe? I can’t imagine how Nina grows outside! Well, it made you look at each plant and think about its time to depart….silver lining….more room…more new plants! 😂. Have a good week!
You are correct BeBe. I was able to access EVERYONE in my collection… orchids and otherwise. Lots were binned as they were not “doing it for me” anymore. I did not , however, discard any ICPU that were not needed as I look forward to seeing them recover and grow. As for how? All of the aforementioned methods, mainly spraying and wiping. I got these cool microfiber gloves off Amazon that were a game changer! Hope your week ahead is marvelous ❤️🌸
🎉Have to finish wayching later ❤ just wanted to thank you for the shout out and for watching that video ❤😘

@sheiselwilliams1 I will definitely cherish her ❤️ and and do my best to keep her happy 😃
Was wondering where you were. No hibiki for me. If my house was on fire one of the 5 I would grab is liodoro.
If mine recuperates she will go on the list 😂
If you don't have enough of the dendrobium keiki, I will talk a hibiki keiki. Lisa
❤️👍🌸

Gurl! Thank YOU for reminding me of the laptop! 💻 I so forgot that has my “replacement” list in the event of a disaster.
@@TrishsOrchidLife You're absolutely welcome!👍😊
