Your house isn't old! The one I live in was built in 1883. Your plant sure turned into many. Maybe her original bucket was to big?

Jealous of your house then!!! And no, she went in with healthy roots and lots of growth, but I let her almost dry before watering and I think I killed the roots with lack of water. I have two more in the same set up doing well. I am totally at fault for this one going downhill and waiting too long to correct it. 🌸
