- MianBao the Cat (formerly Snow White) got her new home in Seattle yesterday.
My wife has been wanting a cat for many years, ever since being forced to leave her previous cat with her sister to go off to AmeriCorps. I've never owned a cat, and always distrusted them. Having a few family members with allergy issues didn't help.
But this year for Christmas, I finally caved. I snuck away to Portland for the day, and brought back this 5 year old (more mellow!) Bengal (hypoallergenic!) and surprised my wife at the door.

Doesn't matter, it obviously didn't want to be held in that moment. Also, when you introduce a cat to a completely new environment, you should probably give it some time before you pressure it into a corner like that. It's not because they don't love the cat, it's just inexperience.

Hahahaha, Snowy bengal. he/she (looks like a he) will destroy your house... and you will love him for it. They seem to pick one person they like and the other people are just tolerated. It can, and will do laps of the front room... via the walls and demand huge amounts of attention. Its a wonderful breed and rewarding but very hard work and not to be let alone.
