beautiful beautiful performance. this was recorded at the altria (formerly the mosque) theater in Richmond, VA, just minutes walk from where I currently reside. miss you so much carl. also- if anyone was at this show or has more insight about it, please let me know, would mean a lot!!
very good an brings back alota memories from the day, they had the perfect blend of Harmony,as life goes on sadlly the band members are fadeing away , but thankfully ther music will live on in ther place.
This album should be re-released with some of the songs Dennis did live, Surfs Up live, All This is That and the rockin' version of Wild Honey they were doing at the time as bonus tracks!
I caught that. Caroline No was a watermark, of sorts, in the songwriting development of Brian Wilson. Everyone seemed to think "Don't Worry Baby" was the song that made people see Brian as a serious song writer. But I always felt it was this song.
Carl does a beautiful job here! One of several tunes on this album (Don't Worry Baby is another) that are worthy of comparison with the Brian-produced originals!
that's GRAMMY as in AWARD for SMILE just what three years ago...I love Sir Paul McCartney who ironically is Brian true friend like equal ... Ricky and Elvis were sold...anyways Keith ... Blondie stole my dream The Beach Boys and The Stones ?! SAIL ON SAILOR!!!
What a song....Carl and his incredible voice....so beautiful and haunting...
I saw Carl do this, 3 times. He was simply, THE heart of The Boys, & the Leader, period. ------------WolfSky9, 72 y/;o
One of the most haunting, poignant songs, ever. Touching, absolutely touching.
Love the crackles off the vinyl ... Great song! Carl sings it wonderfully on this performance (always did actually/anything he F*ing did! RIP.)
Beautiful melody; sweet, romantic and somewhat melancholy.
Carl vocals. Amazing. RIP
What a voice......
Great song sung by Carl, a great singer. Brian sure know how to get to you.
i love more pet sounds than seargent pepper
+Antonio Merlussa "Pet Sounds" and "Sgt. Pepper", it's really not the same thing. These are two very different albums, we can't make comparisons.
Best live album ever
Carl is the end from Beach Boys! Super sweet voice
one of my favorites...beautiful.

A true gem Thank You Brian and to Carl for the voice.
Miss you, Carl Wilson, more as time goes on. ---------------------WolfSky9, 72 y/o

Agreed! And if you listen closely at 0:23, you can even hear Carl say to the band away from the mic "shut up, you guys!" haha
Beautiful live version by Carl

Patrick Jordan Right on! It's a great album already but that would make it even better.
Superb
Nice song.
My favourite Beachboys song. Brian Wilson is a genius. I hope sometime soon Brian will sing with group again especially Mike.
Not likely now

Tysons Accosta that song was 3 years earlier

Wow....thx 89.
Probably the only one on this album i like. Carl did an awesome job singing this.
Better than the original. Carl is just incredible.
Those brothers were/are immensely talented.
No lmao 🤣
I like this much better than the original- I think I’d like the song more if Carl did the Pet Sounds version

Beautiful song , but it's not the same without Brian Wilson singing it .
Very nice vocals from Carl. But the instrumental without Brian's production sounds like elevator music lmao
How could one NOT "like"?!? Have to be a fool, or to be PC, hearing impaired...
You're a yawn
