ISSUANCE OF DEGREE EQUIVALENCE CERTIFICATE
Higher Education Commission has launched an online portal for equivalence of degrees awarded by Pakistani universities/DAIs w.e.f. 11-11-2021. Applicants are advised to apply for equivalence of their degrees at eservices.hec.gov.pk as no manual applications for equivalence of Pakistani degrees will be accepted henceforth.

HEC revised the rates of equivalence fee for Local Degree Deeni Asnads w.e.f. August 01, 2019
The accreditation of institutions, courses, and degree programs has become increasingly challenging with increasing international collaboration in the fields of science and technology, as well as the increased mobility of students and scholars in the modern world. In such a scenario, the equivalence of degrees and diplomas and their recognition poses complex issues for educational authorities. the HEC has evolved a procedure whereby it is able to meet these challenges and address all the complexities involved.
FOREIGN EQUIVALENCE DEGREE PROCEDURE:
Please note that this is a paperless process and applicant is not required to submit hard copies of documents to Higher Education Commission, Islamabad or any other regional center.

Procedure for Application of Foreign Degree Equivalence
1. Go to eservices.hec.gov.pk
2. Signup to create your account.
1. Please make sure you have an active email ID and cellphone number.
3. After successful account signup, Login to your account
1. Go to Equivalence Services
1. Foreign Degree Recognition/Equivalence.
4. Fill in the following:
1. Personal details
2. Details of degrees
3. Equivalence Details
4. Document upload
5. Verify Details
5. Submit the application.
6. After submission of the application, click on “Download Form" Download Challan Pay the Challan at any nearest HBL Branch.
7. log in to your application, click on “Download Form" Verify payment Upload a scanned copy of paid challan and submit the application.
Documents required:
For Bachelor's degree application
1. Degree and Transcript for which equivalence is required.
2. Intermediate/HSSC/FSc/grade 12 certificate or Equivalent qualification certificate issued by IBCC equivalence in case of foreign qualifications.
3. Matric/SSC/grade 10 or Equivalent qualification certificate issued by IBCC equivalence in case of foreign qualifications.
For Master's degree application
1. Degree and Transcript for which equivalence is required.
2. Bachelor's degree duly attested by HEC.
1. In the case of a foreign qualification, the applicant needs to get the equivalence of his Bachelor's degree first.
3. Intermediate/HSSC/FSc/grade 12 certificate or Equivalent qualification certificate issued by IBCC equivalence in case of foreign qualifications.
4. Matric/SSC/grade 10 or Equivalent qualification certificate issued by IBCC equivalence in case of foreign qualifications.
For Ph.D. degree application
1. Degree and Transcript for which equivalence is required.
2. Master's degree/previous Pakistani qualifications/degrees duly attested by HEC.
1. In the case of foreign qualifications, the applicant needs to get equivalence first.
3. Intermediate/HSSC/FSc/grade 12 certificate or Equivalent qualification certificate issued by IBCC equivalence in case of foreign qualifications.
4. Matric/SSC/grade 10 or Equivalent qualification certificate issued by IBCC equivalence in case of foreign qualifications.
LOCAL/PAKISTANI DEGREE EQUIVALENCE
Procedure for getting an Equivalence letter against Pakistani Universities/DAIs
Filling of online application on HEC Portal: eservices.hec.... where Bachelors upto final/last degree duly attested by HEC are required to be uploaded for issuance of equivalence letter along with supporting documents i.e. CNIC, Professional Council Registration, Marriage Certificate, etc., where required.
Attestation of Transcript (s) is mandatory only if its degree is not attested by HEC.
Please make sure to upload the backside of the Degree(s)/Transcript(s) where HEC has affixed/pasted the Attestation Ticket(s).
After submitting application should we pay fee or we need to wait for initial scrutiny?

@@AzmatAbbastech Sir I have Masters degree from Russia so I need to attest it from uae embassy but embassy is asking Hec equlaency since I am Pakistani so I applied on 23 July
ok ok good congratulation but my dear you have pay fee still your application is not submitted to hec yet because now rule has been changed you have to pay fee first the your application status will be changed form submitting yo processing

after the application submitting hec will give you the option to pay the fee after the fee submit ion hec will issue you a equivalence letter

yes first login to your prfile then slect degree which equalence ir required then apply but first all degrss and transcripta must attested from HEC

Sir, I applied for foreign degree equalency I received provisional equalency in soft copy but original equalency I didn’t get yet, it’s takes more then 1 month time all documentation is verified but still they didn’t provide me original equalency
HEC issue only soft copy on web portal get print and use where you need web based printed certificate works everywhere

Dear sir, I recently got foreign degree Equivalence from HEC but the the letter is only available on their website for download. How can I get its original hard copy? Does HEC send me it through any courier? Plz answer me. Thanks
normally hec sends letter on your given postal address you have to wait but some time thay forget to send it alternatly first download it visit nearest computer shop take print on good quality paper etc (Like degree paper)

Sir I have a bachelors degree from Malaysia, I have applied for Foreign Equivalency online through HEC portal. My questions are:
1) Mene fees pay krdi ha lekin agr meri application rejected hoti ha ya koi document ka masla hota ha to me wapsi application update krskhta hun na paisay to zaya nahi jaiengy? I hope i don't have to pay again to just update the application?
