I want guidance in ECA procedure from ICES. I am planning to send documents to ICES electronically via my university.
ICES website states that:
“Please ensure your school is not simply forwarding ICES scans that you have sent to them. Documents must be stamped/signed or verified by an appropriate authority before they send them to us.”
Now, do I have to attest from HEC? Because my transcript and degree already contains signature and stamp of “Controller of examination”

I got sealed envelope from HEC.
1) Shall I write the address and reference number on sealed envelope and send the same envelope as it is to WES.
2) Or shall I print application form from WES portal, and enclosed it in another envelope with HEC sealed envelope and send to WES.

Original Degree and Transcript along with copies of both should first be attested from HEC. There is a video regarding HEC attestation criteria on channel watch that.
1- Separate Envelopes for both HEC and WES
2- To WES photocopies attested by HEC in sealed envelope. HEC will put then in sealed envelope
3- YES

I have got sealed envelop from HEC but i didn't create WES account first so I didn't write reference number. What should I do now?
Unfortunately you need to open sealed envelope and write ref number on back of each attested copy and get them in sealed envelope again

Maliha If you are using TCS service then you will take your original degree and transcript and 2 copies of both along with your CNIC copy to TCS office. They will collect both and will give you a copy of paid challan after payment at TCS. Take pic of your challan and upload on HEC portal in your assigned task.
HEC will attest your Copies and Original and will send back them to your address.. After that take your copies to R and D department of HEC and get them in sealed envelope.. Please don't forget to write your WES reference number on back of your documents copies before putting in sealed envelope. Now you will send copies in sealed envelope to WES and Will upload scan of original to your WES profile. I hope its clear now

I have attested my documents from HEC on Black & White Copies not on color copy, Today i have sealed my envelop also tomorrow i will send them to WES with my reference number, I want to know will i face any problem in future for doing attesting on black and white copies not on colour copy? There is no issue in black and white copies. Its always good to go for color as it is more legible. Best of luck for your ECA.

MBA is not equal to masters, its a diploma as per Canadian Equivalency? I have bachelors in engineering (4 year Program) and masters in MBA(2 Year Program) that is equivalent to 18 years of education.

Is Malaysian Univerity will attest and seal my document and will send it to WES? When I will create my account then will I select the country Pakistan or Malaysia? Please guide me .... Thanks
HEC has nothing to do with your foriegn qualifications for WES. Just create WES account.. Download document request form and send it to your Malaysian University and they will send your documents directly to WES. Its better if you call document/degree department of your university and talk to them and follow instructions.
While adding your academic records add details of country from where you did your degree.. On WES profile you will add details as Pakistani.

1- Yes it is requirement of WES. You need to upload colored scan of your original degree and transcript ( attested by HEC) in document upload section.
2- WES is your educational credentials assessment. It has nothing to do with your Passport or CNIC or name change due to marriage.. You need to use exact name as in your degree and transcript only.

In that case you will use document request form. Fill it and send to your foreign institute and they will be sending your documents directly to WES

Highest qualification
Highest qualifications in same subject.. If you have done BBA and MBA then MBA is highest..but if you have done BBA and Masters in English ,these are two different qualifications..In this case you will send both to WES and will get points for 2 or more degrees ( one of the degree needs to be of 3 academic years at least) If qualifications are from same institute then you can send in one sealed envelope but if they are from different institutes then send in 2 separate sealed envelope..The couriers Envelope can be one.

@@AltamashUmar That is fine. It seems you opted MS after BBa with specialization in Finance and Accounts.. Please bear in mind you need to get both degree and transcript (original and copies) of MS attested from HEC. Copies will go to WES and scan of original will be uploaded on WES profile.

Its your BISE (Board of intermediate and secondary education) not school that is listed on WES
We still need to evaluated our Fsc degree how we can do we are applying from other countries not from pakistan
@@SAEED2HK brother your blood relative can go on your behalf to relevant BISE and get the attested original document and photocopies (both mark sheet and certificate/sand) and then take it to IBCC head office to get in sealed envelope. They can send sealed envelope to WES or to you and then you can send to WES from your current location of residence

Scan your document from both side and merge them as one file online (many free tools available) and upload . You need to visit regional office of HEC along with your copies. Don't forget to write WES reference number on top or back of your copies before getting them in sealed envelope
3rd question pak HEC now is online for Attestation do they provide the electronic documents Attestation directly to WES?
No. As of updated criteria You need to create your HEC profile online. (please watch video in channel about HEC attestation process)
Once you will complete profile you can download application form along with payment details. If you are opting couriers option then you will make payment at TCS center and will send your documents to HEC along with downloaded application. TCS center will send over you your documents after attestation. Make sure to tell TCS center that you need photocopies in sealed envelop for WES.

It is called Associate degree in Canada and equivalence will be of Two-year degree, diploma or certificate from a program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute .

Please note: The HEC must confirm the attestation on their website. If the confirmation is not posted on the HEC website, WES will not accept the documents.

In case your diploma is not from the higher charted institution and from a regional board then the Punjab board of technical education will directly courier to WES Canada.
Step 1: Clear color scan copy of diploma and mark-sheet.
Step 2: is to pay a fee at the bank.
Step 3: Complete the WES document request form and submit documents to the board along with it.
Step 4: Board will attest copies and include a verification letter along with the attested diploma/transcripts in the name of WES.

I have chosen the same "Cheque/Money Order" option to generate my WES Reference Number. Can I proceed payment by Credit Card later? WES Reference number would remain same?
You can change payment methods at any time by logging in to 'My Account', where you will be able to make a payment via the method of your choice. It will not affect WES number.
Can you clear the confusion on the First, Middle & Last Name?
On my Gov. Issued National ID it is Muhammad Fahad, but on my Degree it is mentioned as full with my father's name included as Muhammad Fahad Saleem.
So, should I input Muhammad as first, Fahad as Middle and Saleem as Family name on all the places or only where I'm inputting my degree information?
Your ECA has nothing to do with Gov ids. Use your name as on degree/transcript.
On other hand its very easy to update your name on your Id through NADRA online portal. So you can update you CNIC as per your Academic records . Once your I'd will be updated apply for renewal of passport and your passport will also get aligned.
In any case you can start your ECA now with your academic record name

If original are attested then You need to get only photocopies of your degree and transcript attested from HEC. Get them in sealed envelope and send to WES.

You not only have to send your HEC attested sealed photocopies of transcript and degree to WES but also need to to upload a clear colored scan of the original attested transcript and degree in 'upload document section' of your WES profile.

WES has nothing to do with your ID name.Use your Degree name for WES. You can use b/w copies.
Now a days you can update your CNIC online for name change..So best practice is to allign your name to your degree name on CNIC and then get your passport updated as per new CNIC. This is less hectic than name change on degrees. For now just use your degree name for WES

Yesterday, I received ECA report from WES. They give me below report.
Canadian Equivalency
Diploma (two Years) and two bachelor's degrees (four Years)
Degree Canadian Equivalency
Bachelor of Commerce (2 Years) Diploma (Two Years)
Master of Business Administration (3.5 years) Bachelor's Degree (Four Years)
Master of Science (1.5 years) Bachelor's Degree (Four Years)
Please note that I done my all education from Pakistan, and I send all documents (Degree & Transcript) to WES.
As per phonic conversion with WES Support team, they said you can raise question on equivalency through WES Portal. Thanks in advance!
Its unfortunate that Masters from Pakistan are only equivalent to a 4 years bachelors in Canada so there is no use to raise objection at WES platform. WES and IRCC required ONLY your highest qualification for assessment so there was no requirement to get all of your qualification assessed by WES at first place. Keep your 3.5 years master degree main ,calculate your points on CRS calculator and do the needful. Best of luck

WES (World Education Services) is a Canadian Organisation and they don't have offices in Pakistan. You need to create a WES profile and in your profile there is a mailing address. Write a WES reference number on your sealed envelope and send it to the WES mailing address through FedEx or DHL

Yes 3 Years diploma gets 2 years diploma equivalence in Canada.

BTech and BA 2 separate qualifications hain. Apki dono assess krani chaye the. BTech ki equivalence bhi 2 years trade diploma etc k he milti hai. Unfortunately our education system doesn't meat exact Canadian criteria so our degreed get a level down equivalence from WES.

There is policy till 2025 where on visit visa if you get a job offer you can convert your visit visa into a work permit. I suggest you fly to Canada and find a job there.

i got my degree photocopies attested in a sealed envelope from Hec -Now i have to apply for WES ..do i need to put the WES letter inside the sealed envelope along with the photocopies or i should send the WAS letter( containing Reference numbers and other details) out side the envelope via courier service to WES center in Canada?

There is no WES letter that you put in envelope..Just send sealed attested copies of degree and mark sheet to WES address as given in your WES profile under mailing address option. And upload scan of original attested degree and mark sheet on your profile using upload document option. Include your WES reference number in address also.

If your degrees/transcripts are already attested by HEC, please send your original documents OR photocopies of documents (front and back) duly verified by the Controller of Examination of the concerned university, with original signatures and stamp. Your case may be rejected if above requirements are not fulfilled;

Just get in sealed envelope from HEC the copies of both degree and mark sheet. HEC will not send. You need to send to WES.

My sone done F.S.C (intermediate) from Pakistan. He is an American citizen by birth. He is living in America now . His community college asked for credentials evaluation from NACES .can I send sealed envelope from ibcc to my son and he can post to some NACES agency or should I post it from Pakistan to NACES.
WES (World Education Services) is member of NACES. You need to get both mark sheet and certificate (original and photocopies) attested from concerned BISE. Take photocopies in sealed envelope and send to WES USA for Evaluation. Upload clear scan of attested original documents on WES profile. The process in video is same for Intermediate qualifications. Please check USA instead of Canada while creating the WES profile. Make sure the sealed envelope contains the WES reference number on it. Yes documents can be posted from any where.

Vise versa this question for my information if we upload the soft copies of out degrees online then is it necessary to send the courier because else no need to spend the money to send courier to Canada.

Step 2: Get your original degree and colored /black and white photocopies attested from HEC. Get photocopies in sealed envelope with your WES reference No. From HEC
Step 3: Send sealed envelop to WES on given mailing address in your WES profile.
Step 4: Upload scanned original attested degrees on your WES profile by using upload document option.
Step 5: Make the payment for WES evaluation.
In 35 days WES will send you your ECA..

Take benefit of HEC courier service. Gerry FedEX International, Islamabad are official partners of HEC to facilitate foreigners getting their degree attested or in sealed envelope. @@assadrafique2804 are you asking about document request form?? If yes then there is no need to include this form. The purpose of this form is to request concerned academic institutions for issuance of your degree or transcript.
I recently completed my MS and now wanted to apply for canadian citizenship but have only my transcript and do not have my degree rightnow. Is it mandatory to send the degree alongwith transcript for ECA or can I only send my transcript attested from HEC?
Yes it is mandatory. See if you can request your university for an early issuance.
