Hey Nikolai, nice video! While the GR Corolla is longer and heavier than the GR Yaris, ive found that the length and momentum allow you to use weight transfer extremely nicely. You display it well with your drift transitions, its a shame that loads of people do not understand how to drive this car well on the track or dirt. It took me a few laps around VIR before I could enter turns with a slide and exit with grip. The chassis is very un-optimized for the drive-train, so its extremely rewarding to figure out. Very similar to the Clio v6 in that regard. I bought my circuit edition when I moved for my junior year of college, since then ive been doing 400 miles a week. About to hit 25K miles of hard use now and ive done 7 warranty repairs for damage sustained from my antics. The car can take anything you throw at it if you know how to make it move. Anyone that complains about understeer doesn't know how to drive the car. It may not win any races, but its fun as hell.
Thanks for the awesome insight. Sounds like you’ve liked your car alot. What warranty service have you had done on the car? Anything I need to look out for with mine? Thanks for watching!
@nikolaiiaksenov 1. Brake pedal component broke after a rallyX. Loads of people got that issue, squeaks like a mouse. 2. Damage to an engine relay, most likely from hard slams on the front 3-6. Damage to various adaptive cruise control components on the front 7. Damage to a transfer case axle seal, which caused it to dump oil. Unless you start getting into rutty rallyX courses, I wouldn't worry. Launches and drifting haven't caused any issues yet, clutch is great but the Pilot Sports only lasted 16k miles. Edit: Toyota didn't void my warranty, and they are aware of the speeds ive done on public roads. Thanks for spreading positive feedback on these cars, they deserve it.
Hey man great video, I loved taking my GT86 to roads like this. Since the surface was loose the rear came around a lot. :D My now GR86 is more tuned towards grip with sticky tires, coilovers and a big brake kit. I do miss thrashing the car off the road tho
love the contnet .bro just turn it into a rally car.wont lie tho your car is good if it hasn't gotten spoiled yet because your pushing it. it does look like a rally car
Thank you for watching the content! My goal is to turn it into more of a rally car! Right now it’s really just a street car, so I have great plans for it!
@nikolaiiaksenov the dat is faster than a manual. If you haven't seen carwow video of the GR yaris which has the same engine as the GRC, you will see the DAT gaptize the 2024 manual and the 2025 manual. You might as well remove your power windows and install manual cranks if your next comment is "it's about the engagement " logic over emotion.
Remember me? We used to play forza together 😂 holy cow ur famous now
Hahaha good times
Ain’t no way
No way
Oh man that looks like so much fun
It’s a blast!

GT86 is my favorite car. I have mine set up for grip as well, but I’ve always wondered what it would be like to do a Safari build on
Sweet videos
Appreciate it!
how do you find dirt roads like that?

i would love to see how it upgrades.ove the track segments the drifting in appropriate places and doing what you know not endangering anyone
What city is that in!? That is a dope track!
Lift and areo would be 💅💅💅
Can you post a compilation of the rallying footage without any commentary?
Niko i want those wheels but dont see a 18 in option? Did you get the 17s?
These are 18
UGH I wish I could get one , I drive a 2010 Corolla 😂😂 she almost at 200k
That’s still a really cool car!! Thank you for watching
3:34 😂😂
🤣🤣
I wouldn’t lower it if I were to rally it
I have no intentions on lowering it. Only lifting it!😎
@ oh is it still on stock height/suspension? Looks lowered hahaha
I WANT I WANT I WANT I WANT I WANT I WANT I WANT I WANT
Selk this and get the 2025 automatic transmission to be faster at rallying. The manual transmission is not it
Automatic? 💀
@nikolaiiaksenov tell me where in professional rally they use a manual? I'll wait
@@arctictruck10 it’s usually a sequential, which is different from the DAT8
