See how many bikes (and trikes!) turned up for this event and witness the magnificence of Avro Lancaster NX611 as she powers-up her 4 Merlin engines and taxies around the airfield.

Brilliant video, thanks for sharing. What an amazing sunny evening to see & hear the Lancaster. Lovely setting sun shots on the way home too. You must go again! ( & of course share it with us )
Great video, certainly a great range of bikes which was a huge turnout for the organisers. Yes please go again in August, keen to have another look 😊 well done.❤
Thanks for the ride along to Lincoln Aviation Heritage Centre. By the way, my father Julian Hexum flew 25 missions in a B17 (USAAF 91st Bomb Group H) from the Bassingbourn Airfield in The Shamrock Special.
Wow! That's a famous aircraft and one heck of an achievement by your father. The greatest generation....
Hi from the U.S. .... GREAT video ! Looks like a REALLY COOL event that you attended ..... TONS of bikes, (of all yrs, types, ). I try to attend many of the motorcycle ralleys here on the east coast states ... ALWAYS a good time !! "Thank you" for posting this ! 👌👍👍👍
Thank you for watching and your comments. I bet the motorbike meets in the US are great!
Great video guys
Nice to see lots of bike out
I was there as well, only live 65 miles away i have been several times over the years since it has hosted a bike night, i remember the first time I went in 2007 arrived at 6pm and there were only about 10 bikes there this year i got there 5pm and there were a few hundred bikes 😂
It was such a good event and so well organised! We went to the second one as well but didn't take the cameras this time. Message us if you are going next year!
Funny how planes and bikes go together. I come from a wee village in Scotland next to East Fortune aerodrome where there is a museum and also motorcycle racing takes place on part of the runway.. In Australia now which doesn't have much in the line of war museums..
You're right Dan, they do go well together!
One of my favourite RUclips channels is The Australian Armour & Artillery Museum www.youtube.com/@ausarmour
If you like engineering and metalwork I recommend taking a look at their 'Workshop Wednesday' series. The museum has a team of very skilled people, both young and old, who work wonders on their restoration projects.
@@fbglife Thanks for that, I must show my brother who lives in Preston, he was 23 years with REME so he will love it..
Rough Engineering Made Easy
Yes please; but go a different way, I'm loving the English countryside
if you do go again have a look at the wind sock pole there's a plack on the wall .i won't tell you what it says but you will find it very interesting !!. been ther several times as i live in skegvegas altho i didn't do the bike night due to bike being off the road .anyway i enjoy your channel keep up the good work ttfn
Ahhh, is this the pole with the bullet hole in it?
Will you attend in August? We've been there several times by car but this was the first time by bike.
@fbglife yes it's the one with the bullet hole. Hopefully I'll get to the August one. I need a night out lol
Another good one guys, I would definitely like to visit there one day! I could see Jonathan was like a kid in a sweet shop, just like I would have been 😂
It was like a trip back in time - RG 500, RD 350 etc etc - and I loved every second of it!
