Great video. How do I search for bassenite, or bassenit? I’m probably spelling it wrong, but I am having a hard time finding it online, and I’m looking for a good stone to back opal to really bring out the color.
Great question, I find that when I use the machine water source it adds to much water during the polishing stage. I like to have just enough water that is damp but wont through water from the pad. I like to be able to create a little friction heat between the stone and the pad with the polish. This helps to bring up a better shine and polish. This technique works with jaspers, agates and other hard stones.

How come you don’t use the water that comes out the side while polishing instead of the spray bottle?
