According to another video, this actually was an unused alternate take of the same theme by Rick Turk. This ended up being rejected in the UK but was picked up in NZ. It never made it into the Australian version despite Turk being Australian.
Huh, second half uses a pretty similar chord progression to the US Jeopardy theme
Why is the dollar values so cheap? The dollar values were the same as the original 1960s Jeopardy USA.
Because NZD doesn't have the same value as USD.
