    Life saver. Just got quoted $350 to change the cartridge on my shower mixer. I think I'll give this a go myself!

    spot on advice. Thank you. I had a cover over the retaining nut that could easily be remove by hand. I guess it depends on the model.

    Ive just changed cartridge on my mixer and still have the leak. Any ideas?

    my shower has two hole top and out bottom, what type of cartridge is this? is similar to this but the inlets and outlets are inverted

    While i take my cartridge to the hardware to get it matched up in the meantime is it safe to turn the water back on?

    I have this issue but the cover "underside of the handle" isn't easily removable. What other options do you have? A glass piece broke off but there is no other way I can see to remove the tap???

    got the screw off with an allen key but the handle wont budge, any ideas would be much appreciated :(

    If the handle is stubborn to be released, any suggestions to release it. Ive tried wd40 with no luck.

    Hi there.
    I'm having a problem unscrewing the grub screw-even after trying all Allen keys. It seems to be rust welded to the handle. Any advice on how to remove them and if i can buy more of these preferably ones that won't rust?

    What if mixer handle has no alan key hole? How to snap it out ?

      There should be a plastic red and blue thing... that’s what you take off to reveal the screw.
