Looks great. Yes, more rice won't hurt. Mother nature wins every time. Good luck and God bless. Also, get some chest waders.

I'm fighting water from Debbie but I'm getting the water off and rice was only planted 3 weeks ago. Looks like it will be OK. Good luck. I'm in a very similar beaver pond situation that you are. 14 acre main pond. We are planting millet tomorrow.

Thanks for the video and showing all the work you are doing. It went from no rain to too much rain. I know the feeling. I'm hoping I get a dry spell mid-month to be able to burn the millet. Last week I was out in the dove field tying up sunflowers to keep their heads off the ground. I need every seed they produce and don't want them rotting on the ground. I did have one head that I found stripped of almost all of its seeds. There were a bunch on the ground, but also a lot on the back side of the head. I guess the birds carried them up there to eat.

We had a dry week and then BOOM hammered again last night. I dont even want to go look at the swamp... we terminated the browntop field yesterday about 4 hours before rain to speed up the drying process. we shall see
