- Beaver dam removal and finally it collapsed. I spent here more than 1.5 hour. The problem is that fields are not in use while the dams are here. I have to get rid of it.

Not luck, you use your brain and the power of the water to make these dams collapse. And you have the the best record on the internet. You are a master.
You're getting good at making them collapse - another interesting video - tks!!!
I don't think they are Lucky removals! it is because you plan them so well and cut from the bottom! I can honestly say I've only seen one other person make a dam collapse like that and only once! this is your 6th or 7th so Excellent Job as Always!!
Really happy to see you picked up the electric saw. That will save you a lot of work and time :).
Good work 🦫.
Have a very nice weekend 🐣🐓🐥
Ylva Sweden 🇸🇪
Wow, another beautyful collapse! Thanks! Love the camera follow the flow :)
It's not luck, but hard work and effort with the knowledge of what you are doing will bring the outcome you prefer. Great job and Happy Easter!! Enjoy your family time together!!!!
These videos are the best! I'm serious!
Seeing these dams collapse never gets old!
Excellent job my Brother from another Country!
You have such a great channel, I'm going to donate!
Keep up the nice work!
Good job
Great collapse, no luck involved, you are an expert.
Another Kenislovas colapse! Awesome!!
Nice job
Nice job!👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸
Nice work on that removal, great not good work!!!
Wow. That was an amazingly built dam.
those saws are great!
Nice job as always!
Bloody awesome job 👏 ❤
That was a good one,..didn't take oo long,..
Love this
Awesome collapse Mantas. Just love the way the dam falls in on its self. How fast the water the water drains from behind the dam once a hole has been made. Always enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing in your adventures. David B.,Utah, USA. ❤❤❤..
Great collapse Bravo ❤
You are the Dam Whisperer 🦫 Another great collapse 👏
Getting high tech with the battery powered saw! Keep it up.👍🏼
That looked cool when it rolled down!
I like the way you dig out the bottom. No choice but to collapse . The water starts to bubble behind the damn and run
GOOD ONE!! ......WOOOOOOOOSHHHHHH
Beautiful. .. thank you for the extra effort and time you take for collapse
Pozdrawiam serdecznie całą rodzinę 👋👍🇵🇱
So relaxing to watch and listen to rushing water. Better than a pill.
Nice Work
Well done ,I know it was a lot of hard work
Wow!
Hi there. Last video you asked for things we wish for in your videos. I would like to see a drone-shot one or two days after you removed the dam when the water came down. Thank you for the videos!
The anticipation of the collapse is awesome!
Very cool
Very cool collapse. Thanks so much for your hard work very calming videos in a turbulent world.
Glad to got an electric saw to heko out. I've used a reciprocating saw with a pruning blade on my trees and bushes for years. Very handy! What a great dam removal!
I knew one of those saws would be useful and not very dangerous. Good job.
very nice collapse😀
nice technique to dig at the bottom of dam.
When you show the dam collapse at the beginning of the video, I don't want to watch the process as much. I like to see the surprise as much as you do.
Congratulations on your new saw…you’re going to have fun with it & show those beavers how it’s done! 😂. This was a very excellent dam collapse and thank you for the drone views.
👏👏👏💯💯👏👏👏
Awesome dam collapse. You are very talented at that. can't be easy to do or everyone would be doing it. Love your link.
I love how you make it collapse. I know you could probably clear the dam a little faster if you didn't wait for the collapse, but then it's not nearly as awesome 😊
A fantastic clearing and dismantling this day. Extraordinary water flow. Have a great weekend and Easter, and see you on the next, Mantas! 🇱🇹👍🙂🇺🇸
Well done to have a few power tools to help!
Excelente trabajo debilitada la, base el muro con la presión del agua se cae,
Looking like spring by you!!!
NICE, back on the collapse game! it seems smaller damn are better collapse then the HUGE dams. keep up the good work
Great job I enjoyed the show
Cool video. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Awesome removal
As always good vid
You did a great job on that dam,way you undermined it was key to success.great video as always.dam had been there awhile.just continue doing what your doing and carry on. I nice to see you get that electric saw, should make things little easier on you when battling all the underbrush that is blocking your way.be careful always.great video as always 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Oh yeah! Another good one.
yes, an upgrade to the hand saw. perfect for little stuff.
What a mucky mess! Great results as usual! 😊🇨🇦
Hoover dam vs Beaver dam - ecology lesson for us.
Just before you posted about it, I said to myself that you should have one of those battery operated chainsaws. LOL. Nice job on the dam, as always
Great job!
A simple trick to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit (not sure if it's dead on but it is very, very close). Double Celsius temp. and then add 30. Notice on video he said it was 12 degrees Celsius or 54 degrees Fahrenheit. 12x2= 24+30=54.
👍
Great job Manthas
very very nice one. no top contender. but its there.
Oh Wow my name with the others at the end Thank you!
Glad to see you took my advice and got a saw exactly the same as mine !! Got a fallen tree at top of garden to saw up next, yet every time I go to do it, it rains !!! Global warming stores to much rain in the clouds !! Hopefully dry soon. 😁🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
as always, a great video.
I’ve noticed that when you start taking the bottom out of the dam then the top follows, waiting for it seems difficult but you wait, then it goes. Waiting is not easy but it has to be done.
I think these video's are awesome
Great collapse and it’s one of your best ones!
Why do you leave the large branches on the top of the dam?
What primitive instincts are being untapped that we feel satisfaction in seeing stagnant water flowing again.
Yeah..
The electric chainsaw is cool
The slower movement of water created by beaver dams can also help to alleviate drought conditions. During hot and dry spells of weather - such as the 2022 drought which impacted large parts of the UK - the water stored in beaver wetlands was released slowly downstream, helping to maintain local river and stream flows, and producing ‘green oases’ in which wildlife such as toads, dragonflies and water voles could survive.
Skill, not luck. Lucky is when you just about fall in but you save yourself. That electric branch chainsaw sure does speed up the work. What brand did you purchase? Elfa Roberta should have asked the Easter Bunny for one to let you use. I guess she will get chocolate instead. Have a Happy Easter with the Family and eat well.
I’ve been wondering for a while if you have ever had a dam collapse on top of you?
First! Huge collapse!
Yo❤u caught on! Lots of us watch but haven't subscribed! I watch RUclips on my Tv & can't leave comments etc. So I got on my tablet & sub. But I watch you all the time! I use to trap Beavers. If you stretch & tan the hide right you get big bucks!
Me I have you thought of using a cordless pressure washer to remove the mud from the downstream face of the dam?
Awesome
So how did you get into this. Was it passed down from your father or another family member or was it something you did as a kid growing up? 🤙😎🇦🇺
Hello from Fargo, North Dakota USA! The trappers in North America almost brought beavers to extinction in the late 1800's, though they made a comeback. Do you do the same area over and over? Where do the beavers go? Do the downstream land owners complain? Thank you!
Do the beavers pat mud before adding sticks or does the dirt accumulare because sticks keep water from flowing?
Looked like an old dam.
So much mud. Wow
Had another idea!! When you get too 100k members You Have to Build a Beaver Dam!! and try and block off some water!
Hey mate! I have to make 2 tattoos beaver and rake😀
@@Kenislovas then we'd better get some more Subscribers!
Epic dam collapse 🎉
Electric handsaws are greatly useful
nice
Question, Ken. Have you ever caught any of the little monsters putting their eyeballs on you an wishing that they could do something about the situation?
😂 … die kleinen Monster lassen sich nicht beim Spannen erwischen.
just 1 question. Why are you doing this by hand and not with a long reach excavator? You would get so much more of the dam removed and it would be removed in so much faster of a time basis with half of the physical effort.
I don't have excavator.
Manual removal is good exercise for me and I like it more :)
That looks like it could be a hard one.
I had an idea. What if you took some PVC pipe, cut to say 6 to 8 ft (depending on how thick the dam is), and just pounded it through the base of the dam, from the upstream side to the down stream side, in an effort to poke a hole through the dam, right through the mud the beavers usually have packed against the base of the upstream side? MIght be a bit tricky to hit the end of the pipe properly, since the water can get pretty deep. It might be helpful to cut the end going through the dam at a sharp angle, so that it doesn't get as easily stuck on branches inside the dam, and you can turn the PVC and try to maneuver past obstacles? I dunno what diameter pipe would be best to create a hole, though... the idea being to weaken the dam more at it's base, and see if this helps accomplish a washout?
OR! Once you've cleared enough debris on the downstream side of the dam, maybe pound (i.e., with a hammer of some kind, or a shovel) the PVC up into the dam from downstream side to upstream side, to make holes?
The dam suddenly collapsed again.🤓
He was also able to safely escape from the collapse.
Maybe..I wonder if I was able to avoid it because the sound of the water changed? 💧🎶→🎵
Quite difficult evasion technique🥷
🦫The beaver's body and tail may be a ruler.📐😏
👍👍👍👍👍👍
It will be rebuilt in a few days unless you eliminate the beavers too.
it blows my mind to think that somewhere in all that water I once drank a bit of it I also pee'd some of it......
Those beavers are on steroids!!!
Water quality will be so much better downstream now lol. It'll be just like California before you know it.
