Hi buddy, Thank you for commenting and encouragement. I'm glad you found value in this video for your viewing time. A Samsung tablet is a great choice for running Klipper screen, big AMOLED display probably looks awesome.

Hi Chris, Thank you for commenting and encouragement. If you aren't needing a permanent Klipper Screen try using your iPhone to log into your Klipper Web UI. Http://your Raspberry IP or Http://webname.lan address.

Newest version of the Xserver app might not be compatible with older Android devices. I had to go back to version 1.20.41 via APK install, to get my OnePlus X with V6.0.1 up and running KlipperScreen

Victor:- another GREAT and well though-out video from you: frankly I don't know how you do it; the amount of playing and research that you do is beyond me. I've downloaded ALL of your 3D printer videos, not the balancing car tires etc - at 75 yrs, I can't even lift one! I do find your videos inspirational, both for 3D printing AND bloody determination. I started with a CR10s Pro V2 (basically by informed - from Michael of Teaching Tech - lucky choice) and it's in the process of upgrades, so after many hours of watching your videos, I bought another second-hand one. I don't know how many CR10s Pro V2 owners/ users there out there, but personally I would really love ONE video detailing all of your best upgrades - Fans, BigTreeTech, Android phone display (I just LOVED that one!!) etc. It is an arduous, challenging and time consuming task, sometimes with hind-sight contradictions, to list and get all the upgrades you recommend. So all in ONE video would be great. As mentioned, I downloaded all your 3D printing videos (and loved them all) but failed to thumbs up most of them (I don't think it would help you if I did? PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong and I'll do it).
One last point Master; is the CoreCeption? 300 REALLY good?? should I get one ? Yes, I know it's a shitty question; what I really want to know, is, is it technically SO SUPERIOR to the CR10s Pro V2 to warrant getting one and doing all the mods??
Again Victor, GREAT GOING with all, your help; it has converted me to a new hobby and whilst without your 'help' we would have much more money, I'd be bored stupid! Now I have the incentive to design (I've a very strong physics and electronics background), draw and , most importantly IMPLEMENT odd hardware!! Thank you so much Oh Sagacious Master. Seriously, thanks Victor, you have really helped me plenty.
    Cheers, Peter Kelly, Australia.

Hi Peter, Thank you for commenting and encouragement. I'm glad you found value in these videos for your viewing time. The CR10S Pro V2 provides a good base to build from. If I was going to start from scratch with another one. I would change the following.
      Control board - Manta M5P + CB1
      Stepper drivers - 5X TMC2209s
Firmware - Klipper (opens up Input Shaper, Pressure Advance, Bed Mesh algorithms, Screw Tilt and Tilt Calibration prior to each print to level the gantry to within .0025mm tolerance, also stepper voltage control via firmware) No more having to mess with the voltage pots.
Hot end - Micro Swiss NG REVO (parts cooling solution is the only tricky part)
      Internal cooling - Noctua
      External parts cooling - 2X 4010 blowers
      Hot end cooling - 30X30X10mm 24v fan
Wiring - 1X 40pin female header plug , short sections of wire, jst connectors and pins to convert from ribbon to standard wires.
Optional - CR-Touch (more robust than the BL-Touch)
I'm sure there are a few more little things I missed but this is the bulk off the top of my head.
The Coreception 300 is still a work in progress for me. Getting better than a stock one. It would be super easy to enclose and has potential being a corexy with linear rails but I can't recommend it over the CR10S Pro V2 at this time.
You definitely have the needed skills to accomplish anything you set your mind to. 3D printing is an amazing hobby and just wait till you learn some basic CAD if you don't already have that skill, anything is possible then.
Have wonderful and prosperous New Year.

m8, this is EXACTLY what I was thinking of doing also! Do you know if this could work with a Creality motherboard 4.2.7?

    • @vbared
      @vbared  7 месяцев назад

Hi, Thanks for commenting. Yes, Klipper screen running on an Android smartphone will also work with a 4.2.7 board so long as you are using a BTT PI4B+CB1 the guide will be the same. If you have a Raspberry Pi there will likely be some differences in the process to get it working, but it should.

Hi Larry, Thank you for commenting and encouragement. Are you running a CB1 or a Raspberry Pi? If Pi the file is config.txt but since I haven't done this on a Raspberry Pi the process might be different. I would encourage you to check the Klipper forums, I'm sure the solution is there.

Hi Abdul, Thank you for commenting. Unfortunately, I haven't tried the display using the BTT Pi V1.2. If I had to guess I would think they would have designed it to work it. Check their GitHub and ask in their forums to confirm.
