I pulled the trigger! THANK YOU for all of your help and entertainment. Yup. This is a dream watch for me. I've literally described this watch to my wife; saying that I'd never find a watch like it. Here it is. NH35 with NO date, green titanium field, NATO w/ titanium hardware, Japanese superlume, matte dial,200m wr, signed crown .... Modern classic. Sharp angles. Tough looking but kind of warm at the same time. Too cool. Yeah anyway I appreciate it. Wouldn't have known if not for you.
@@RandomRobReviews and they're sharing the wealth. They're not greedy at all. $250 is a really good price point. Thanks one more time Rob. I don't comment much but I've been here a while. Every video I like. I'm trying to maintain. I have a decent diver (skx-7J) with a StrapcCode Super Oyster. Citizen Eco chrono. BL5400-52A (hard to see but fun and tricky) But I've been looking for a titanium green field. They're unicorns. The Alpinist just wasn't right. Great watch but not 4 me. I'm really hard on watches (sorry) 😁 I know that you're NOT. I'm kind of weird about it. They break in like an old leather jacket for me. It's kind of brutal So I won't show you any pictures. I wouldn't want anyone to hear you sobbing on RUclips. Anyway one more time, much appreciated. This is a Stephen King novel of a comment!
I don't mind that they left out the date window and I think that more companies should do this. Alot of watches have a forced date window that looks so out of place.
Really nice watch. So many companies think oh titanium is light, that means we can make the watch gigantic. Its almost impossible to find a 38mm titanium field watch. Hamilton khaki has titanium now, but the lugs are so long, and I hate to say it but I think I trust a Seiko movement more. This Seiko movement is probably not as accurate, but more robust. And the 200m wr is great. Sapphire crystal with AR. Not too thick. And are those drilled lugs? And crown at 4 oclock for comfort! Pretty much a perfect watch.
Just got the version in white yesterday; very good review and accurate. I second the opinion on the 20mm strap; I used it for half the day, and it was just too stiff for my liking so ‘replaced it with a BluShark nato, much more comfortable. If you want to put a 2-piece strap on it, the lugs are drilled, so that’s a nice touch as well. Reasons for getting the watch: NH35 movement (my first automatic with hacking and manual wind), 38mm case (I think this size would look good on any size wrist, ok, maybe a little bit small on a sequoia tree...), screw down crown w/ 200m resistance, sapphire crystal, and titanium for less than $250 (at the time of this entry), so yeah, I feel like it’s good value in a watch I was looking for. A minor disappointment is the lack of a date complication, but, OTOH, if you want a clean, simple, field watch face, this covers all the bases.
Reminiscent of the Khaki Pilot Pioneer H76419531, but I like the Boldr's crown positioning better, and the price tag of course! This one would look amazing on the right leather strap.
i love the idea of reusable packaging.... instead of a giant box that will sit in storage. nice review! and i like the watch.... just a bit out of my budget at the moment.
its a great move, I have a titanium hamilton khaki and the light weight aspect is def a plus when your out and about using this watch like the way its ment to be used, hiking , camping, or what not
I though about it all night. I just ordered a black one. This will be my first field watch. I liked the screw down crown, sapphire, and nh35. What really made me like this watch too, is the case shape around the lugs. It will make straps nato, silicone whatever look made for the watch. Google it there is a $20 coupon code. I got mine for $229
Is your dial missaligned? Mine is, contacted boldr. Waiting on a response. Disappointing for a $300 watch. Hoping their customer service steps up to help.
I have a first generation Venture and wear it to work daily. It's the perfect watch for a Chef. Water resist for dishes, lightweight for 10 hour days, and just a great watch. Strap is great as well. I'm really thinking about getting this one in blue or green.
I have the quartz and it is a nice little watch. Really looking forward to the automatic. I also have a Hamilton which is great but not titanium. Has anyone ever met a watch enthusiast who did not have room in their collection for 2 different great field watches?
I like the boldr venture quarts I have. I have the black titanium case; it was gone so quick I’m still not sure if it was DLC or PVD; the finish holds up though!
Maybe I'm wrong but this looks like direct competition to Hamilton. Has the same field watch vibe anyway. I had the quartz version that I got last year for under $100. It was a good little watch. I'd definitely look into this auto version.
I'm saving for a Hamilton Khaki mechanical, this watch seems even better! How is the lume? I look forward to future videos and a give away sounds awesome!!!!
Quentin Dergan I was gonna get the khaki mechanical but I’m gonna get this instead. This simply is a better price with way better stats. It also looks pretty cool and is definitely quality materials and movement.
In for the giveaway! ;p Cool watch, and nice specs for the price. I can't believe how light that is, that's pretty much unheard of for an auto isn't it?
Great specs for the price, and love the design. The dimensions are excellent, especially that lug-lug length. I think the popular choice for most will be the Hamilton Khaki Field, but for around $100 less with better water resistance, this is pretty compelling. Call me crazy but I actually like this watch's looks better than the Hamilton. Great vid as usual Rob, if you end up doing that giveaway I'd volunteer for it 😉
Love your channel and streams. Please enter me in the GAW for that watch. Beautiful watch. I'm real impressed in it's overall look. It has earned a front row seat on my bucket list.
Meh. Manchester Watch Works' Rattler does the automatic titanium field watch better IMO. MWW dumped tons of lume on the Rattler and it lasts all night.
havent heard of Manchester watch works before im going to have to look them up and try to get a watch to review for my own channel. How do they compare in price?

I agree I rarely look at the date and its a pain in the butt at the end of the month and it looks better
💯
i agree , while a date window is great on alot of watches I like time only watches because they look so clean and you can really appreciate the dial
For me it is the opposite. If they had the window date, it would be perfect
If they are to go with a dateless version, they should really go with a thinner movement that fits the bill. No ghost position.
Have had my eye on this model, trigger pulling... now
Can't beat the price for what you get. I bought one too.
Skippi Names how long it took to get the watch delivered?
I like the green dial color and strap combo.
it really is a great look, i always think green fits field watches the best it gives the military vibe off
Nice watch, and I love the color! The loom is great but it would have been a nice touch to have loomed the Insignia below 12 on the dial. Jmo.

Looks like a big improvement over the quartz the Lume as well seems so much brighter 👍😎

Nice watch! Boldr seems to really know how to make a modern, practical "Field Watch". Love the fact that they went with titanium on the case.

@@WatchUnwind Yup I hear ya, I've got the same watch. Wore that it for my last 4 years in the Navy.
nice !! and thank you for your service James

Hope to see clear back case huhu..love to see the movement
I have the card on black. It has great wrist presence even though it’s 38mm .

both colors are great but id go with green . no wrong choice though
Perfect for MN-type straps
For sure, I will be doing some strap vids soon

Neil : enthusiast abides by the rule of “N+1” where N=the number of you have in your collection. ;)
I liked the quartz version. I really like the auto version!
both are cool, depends on what your looking for but im a fan of everything boldr has been doing
Very cool watch. Boldr seems like one of the better micro brands. This watch would be a great daily wear watch.
I like the boldr venture quarts I have. I have the black titanium case; it was gone so quick I’m still not sure if it was DLC or PVD; the finish holds up though!
I’m eyeing the black version, and I didn’t understand if you said the black cover is bad or it holds up? Thanks
Ha! Put on my black quartz model on this morning. Great value! Now what color....
Thank you so much for this video!
‘Jungle Green’ dial preordered and this just confirms I made the right choice 😊
Love the colors and the full titanium. Just wish it was a little bigger not sure I could pull off a 38.
So lightweight! and that green tone looks awesome. What type of lume is it?
Superluminova.
i believe its Superluminova.
Why the NH35vs the NH38(no date)? Not that more money.
From what I understand it’s a supply issue most of the time. Possibly the nh38 was not available in the quantity they needed.
I'm only worried about the log height.. how about a regular canvas strap, would it fit? I don't like natos :
Maybe I'm wrong but this looks like direct competition to Hamilton. Has the same field watch vibe anyway. I had the quartz version that I got last year for under $100. It was a good little watch. I'd definitely look into this auto version.
Interested in this watch. How LONG does the lume last? If I charge it at 11:00pm, will it flame out before sunrise?
This is a cracking value proposition. Any idea about the titanium’s grade?
hamilton is the best field watch, pretty affordable too.
U are not dead bruddah
senk mar I neva die my bruddah
One or two if the models are affordable but the rest are quite expensive I think.
really not water resistant, no screw down crown which is why I sold mine, I would much prefer this one
GLD Edmond 100 is not enough for you?

best watch ever
just ordered one in this color, can't wait

Beauty field watch !
I bet that wears really nice.
Beautiful watch, but 38is way too small for me.
This is great news. It is a great looking field watch.
It would have been perfect with a 6 date and about 3 mm bigger just my opinion but I have a big wrist still a nice watch not for me though LOL
I’m sorry Rob no disrespect but that case shape completely ruins it for me
That's my favorite part. To each their own I suppose
It wouldn’t be any disrespect to me. I just show watches, not make them.
It's ALL subjective right?
It's nice to see respectful dissent. 👍
The movement ruins it for me
