I'm trying to improve on my mad hatter cosplay,. The snazaroo face paint isn't great for all over the face and since I'm black I need something with full coverage.

I’m doing kiyoshi warrior Makeup and it’s a nightmare. I’ve been using the mehron face white paint but will switch over to the clown white to try this method! Trying to Matte over my freckles with white paint is exhausting but thank you so much this tutorial will help me and prevent my tears 😭❤️

I know this video is old but since everyone is saying you really helped, I was hoping you may be able to help me. I’ve been doing white base makeup, using mostly Mehron products for almost 3 years. But I’m getting so sick of doing makeup purely because whenever I do a white base (no matter what brand) my skin looks like literal sand paper. And when I set it, it gets even worse (I’ve always used the Manic Panic Virgin powder as well). I’ve tried mehron liquid, stick, and the clown white you’re using and it all looks the same. I really don’t know what I can do to fix it.
hmmmmm what skin type/texture do you have? for me i never knew ni had dry skin i always thought it was oily bc my face would look good and then after an hour or two it went to pooo....i think maybe doing a chemical peel to even out your skin texture...since you said its like sand paper do you shave? if so i would try wax since it smoothens the face for a lot longer then shaving . or you could have an issue combining certain products with primers and moisturizers some items are not combatable

I’ve used a few different types of primes, water base, dewy/matte finish etc, but I look the least like sandpaper without primer. I would highly recommend exfoliating in the shower and moisturizer right after while your skin is still damp. I regularly exfoliate at least 1-2 times a week. However if I skip it and try to apply my make up it will dry like sand paper no matter how much skin I do before applying. The magic step is exfoliating for me to stop the sandpaper look. @@obscureviewer5762
I've been using Mehron for the past five years for my classic Joker costume, and it works phenomenally. It really gives that bleached look without having to be thrown into a vat of acid 😂. Especially once it's powdered, it lasts a long while until you *decide* to wipe it off. And this tutorial really helps, cause it's always difficult to do a full face (ears and neck included) of white and still get it even.

Just curious, but how long does the makeup on your eyelids typically last before needing to be retouched? I use a water based bodypaint and it always fades and smears not long after.
If I'm doing a black paint over white paint around the eyes and cheek bones; should I let the white paint dry entirely before applying the black or apply while white is wet?
depends on if you are using an oil base or water base color . i will make a tutorial explaining . ^^ you can paint over but i would use a dab motion and not swiping , it could make the colors appear muddy/unblended

it can transfer a little bit but not that much when you sweat it tends to transfer more i recommend to try your best not to make contact with anyone like a deep hug or you can put a towel down in the car if you paint your body

You can use the cheaper water based body paint "creme" but if you don't apply multiple layers of that your sweat will eventually start ruining the paint
I got mehron clown white makeup and First time I wore it was great but the second time I’m not sure what happened and it got super cakey and was coming off a lot and peeled off I don’t even know what happened any tips to prevent this? I’m gonna use the makeup again for a convention in January and I don’t want it to come off 😭😭
its not waterproof sadly. it does last a while on the skin but being outside will cause a few creases . i will invest in a waterproof regime for those occasions .

whatever color your using powder should be last. so for example..use cremes first then powder, ^^ Powder the white parts white and the black black ^^

Pressed powder is harder to blend .
pressed powder lasts longer in my world but it can be tricky...loose powder can be built up easily and reapplied easily

it feels a lot thicker and heavy but with the right amount of powder it will stay put . i will do a video about makeup removal
