Fun fact: Even though The First Order snow speeder didn't show up in Episode VII. It is a playable vehicle in Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017) when playing on Starkiller Base.
But your forgetting that 2013 homing spider droid had a major flaw and that was it was prone to falling over due to the grey pins used in the legs. So they released the 2016 Version to fix this flaw.
I guess I’m the only one who actually LIKES the Vulture Droid. One of my favorite LEGO SW sets. Oh and I’m pretty sure it’s been pointed out but the Jedi in the battle pack is Bariss Offee not Luminara.
One time I watched the prequel trilogy and every time there was a meme I would take a drink of water(because I am underage), I drank 5 bottles of water
Not all of them were bad to be honest. I have all six from the 1st wave of them (General Greivous, Darth Vader, Luke, Jango Fett, Commander Cody, and Obi-Wan) and Vader and Greivous look great and amazing especially Greivous, he's huge and has more playability features than i think all of the figures. Jango, Cody, and Obi-wan are decent, but Luke looks plain ugly and bland. They just sit on my shelf looking cool rn.
I bought the new one, and the laser is without doubt more sturdy and stronger than its predecessor. I understand why they upgraded the minifigures as new Vader helmet was out. Was that worth an additional $100? No. Did the set need some quick touch ups? Yes.
So your #1 most unwanted LEGO set is the UCS Death Star? Probably one of the most popular LEGO sets ever, the set of every 7 year old Star Wars fan's dreams, and you say that nobody wanted it? Your math is off.
Video title "NO ONE WANTED" Actual content of video "NO ONE ASKED FOR." Very different topic. We can get something we didn't ask for because we didn't think about or know about it and still end up wanting it.
Vulture droid is one of the best lego sets. It is beyond fun once fully build with the adjustable head and legs along with it being properly proportioned compared to minifigs,
I mean the same as the war machine buster in the first wave of avengers endgame sets and the first order snowspeeder they were concept designs that Lucasfilm and marvel and/or Disney gave to Lego and said these are going to be in these movies and then ended up not putting the concept designs in these said movies avengers endgame, the force awakens and the last jedi and then everyone goes and moans about these sets saying we did not need these sets when it was not the lego groups fault these concept designs were not used in these movies after the sets had been released
The 2013 Homing Spider Droid is literally incapable of standing up on it's own, which is why they released an improved version so soon after. Sucks for the people who bought the original, but at least Lego attempted to address the issue.
Actually I like the vulture droid, like in my opinion it’s a good idea to ad a vulture droid that a bit bigger, more detailed and has more playability and the figures are decent.
Honestly I feel like the 2014 Vulture droid felt pretty accurate in scale when you see them walking next to battle droids in the beginning of the phantom menace and I personally enjoyed the set.
bor hes sucha idiot i would do anything to have any of these lego star war sets as a kid im 16 right now but when i was llike 10 i coulndt get any bruhhh
I feel like they just picked the wrong characters to make into buildable figures. If you look at Boba-Fett, the “Newer” Darth Vader, and the Scout Trooper than those are really cool characters that everyone wants. Causal or Hardcore. No casual fan or kid wants Jyn Erso. That only applies to Rouge One like myself
The problem lies in the fact that you have to buy a BUNCH of these to get the same amount of clones that you would have had with the old battlepacks. Also ngl I would LOVE a Jedi-only battle pack that we only could buy one of and get Kit Fisto, maybe Ahsoka, etc. It's the fact that having both combined in one pack is worse than either of the two would be on their own.
@@BreadPled I am glad the 501st battle pack was released. I was just getting back into Lego, and was looking at star wars sets. 501st was the first set I bought.
plus, they make the sets way before the final product hits theaters, so no, they wouldn't by default "know," what scenes are going to be deleted in post production. They aren't all one conglomerate company, they can only go based off what they're told by Disney lmao.
I've never really understood the "who asked for this?" argument. Apart from the creators of something (in this case, George Lucas) who "asked for" _Star Wars_ in the first place? How do you know of someone wants or likes something unless you try it? The results might end up good. I can understand if - again, in this case - something is rereleased with either no or minor tweaks, but otherwise... what's the probs, peeps?
@@kangerooman5558 I lost my lego collection in 2014 and started again in 2020, so some of those sets are great to me for the figures, nice builds, and cause they're good for stop motions. thats why I like these sets so much. they also just give a hint of nostalgic charm even though its completely different from older sets.
@@Dixie_Lily I don't care about the free maker stuff but who doesn't like Jawas and sand people? Has this guy seen the movie Star Wars? Has he played LEGO Star Wars? They are iconic and awesome! Also who doesn't like getting Ki Adi Mundi and Barris without spending 60+ bucks on big sets? Looking at the prequels Ki Adi is literally the most influential Jedi on the council after Mace and Yoda and it's the first time we got a movie version of him.

In defense of the buildable figures: Guide: any figure that is “a normal human” looks terrible. Any robots or armored humans, look great. If they show skin, bad. I think that looking like an action figure is bad, because it looks unnatural. But if you use a character that wears armor or is a robot (something Lego does well in most cases) then it’s good!
I own that death star. I remember as a kid saving up the $500 from birthday and Christmas money and money from chovelling driveway and decks. Just to buy that set.

Oh fuck off he is a collector and if it sucks shit on it. If disney made another shit star wars movie (hey they did that 3 weeks ago) would you blindly love it and give disney money despite the fact that it fails at being a movie and shits over episode 8 which all the idiots loved

Me: watched both 2 seasons and all the mini shorts and did a lemonade stand for a week in the blazing summer to save up $50 to buy the StarScavenger and was happy to build and have it when I was in high school which I still have and love to this day!
Fun fact: Even though The First Order snow speeder didn't show up in Episode VII. It is a playable vehicle in Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017) when playing on Starkiller Base.
Interesting
It’s in TFA too. In the background on star killer base.
I realised this too, cool
I wanted the death star because I don't have the original, but that price jump is redonkulous
The new one also has better minifigs as well

I don't agree with the price. I will get a Lepin one if I find it cheap enough.
But your forgetting that 2013 homing spider droid had a major flaw and that was it was prone to falling over due to the grey pins used in the legs. So they released the 2016 Version to fix this flaw.
the jedi in 2013 set is much more unique and cool then yoda in 2016 set though :(
I guess I’m the only one who actually LIKES the Vulture Droid. One of my favorite LEGO SW sets. Oh and I’m pretty sure it’s been pointed out but the Jedi in the battle pack is Bariss Offee not Luminara.

Baden Phillips he is getting all the Star Wars sets for a collection. He needed to
@Baden Phillips So if I buy a game to review and end up disliking it my opinion is invalid cuz I bought it? Wtf?
Why would nobody want the Death Star? I would have bought it
I got it
Samus Aran I asked for it for like 2 years every time I saw it and no one got me one.
I bought the new one, and the laser is without doubt more sturdy and stronger than its predecessor. I understand why they upgraded the minifigures as new Vader helmet was out. Was that worth an additional $100?
No.
Did the set need some quick touch ups?
Yes.
The issue is the price for an outdated build
You can now!
So your #1 most unwanted LEGO set is the UCS Death Star? Probably one of the most popular LEGO sets ever, the set of every 7 year old Star Wars fan's dreams, and you say that nobody wanted it? Your math is off.

Red Eye that sounds awesome and maybe a sith one to go against it
jedi bob could finally make his return in a set like this
they would get sold out so fast and it would just be like blind bags but more expensive
I'm pretty sure that used to be a set, like early 2000's I think, I'd get that, could make the whole Jedi order

Did everyone just forget about the First Order Heavy scout walker?
I... Actually did lol
It’s an ok set. (better than the overpriced half of an first order at st walker. ) However, they need to fix the moving leg mechanism.
Im probably the only one that likes the death star
Edit: Well at least there’s somepeople who like it!

WoolEagle11 I’ll take it off your hands if you don’t want to deal with it
The 2013 Homing Spider Droid is literally incapable of standing up on it's own, which is why they released an improved version so soon after. Sucks for the people who bought the original, but at least Lego attempted to address the issue.
I have the first one and I hate how it can’t stand up, still looks cool though.
i have the original and have zero problems with it
Actually I like the vulture droid, like in my opinion it’s a good idea to ad a vulture droid that a bit bigger, more detailed and has more playability and the figures are decent.
Honestly I feel like the 2014 Vulture droid felt pretty accurate in scale when you see them walking next to battle droids in the beginning of the phantom menace and I personally enjoyed the set.
You do realise that the first order snowspeeder IS in the film : there is an open door at the end of a corridor behind Rey and finn on starkiller base
STAR bricks I don’t get why they didn’t include it in the battle of crait
Glassjaw XVIII I agree that would be cool and maybe they could have killed rose
The real title: stupid things we got instead of a 501 battle pack.
Yup
Yes I wish they would come out with a decent battle pack instead of a clone-Jedi battle pack
Not all of these are stupid
Let's get a Star Corps battle pack going first. Make the four figures the Assault, Heavy, Officer, and Specialist class skins from Battlefront II.
Larniie Playz It was a joke bro. Not meant to be 100% serious my friend.

I actually really liked the Star Wars buildable figure series. They were a cool change for the Lego Star Wars lineup.
I collectie the buildable figured and year sometimes they are trash but most of the time I love em
bor hes sucha idiot i would do anything to have any of these lego star war sets as a kid im 16 right now but when i was llike 10 i coulndt get any bruhhh
9:06 I actually wanted this set because I never had a Ki-Adi Mundi figure, plus I wanted to grow my clone army. Maybe it's just me, though.
It's the fact that having both combined in one pack is worse than either of the two would be on their own.
its so good i dont get why he doesnt like it
Exactly the same reason I bought a tank set as I wanted the blue Twilek Jedi
also me
It's literally the first time we got a movie based Ki Adi Mundi and he's one of the only Jedi in the Movies that says something in the movies.

The laziness is fucking annoying.
They would know before making anything
yall got way too mad at a joke. 😂
plus, they make the sets way before the final product hits theaters, so no, they wouldn't by default "know," what scenes are going to be deleted in post production.
Logic.

In defense of the buildable figures:
Guide: any figure that is “a normal human” looks terrible. Any robots or armored humans, look great. If they show skin, bad.
I think that looking like an action figure is bad, because it looks unnatural. But if you use a character that wears armor or is a robot (something Lego does well in most cases) then it’s good!
