honestly. Every single set from 2013 has insane value today. I regret not buying a lot of those sets. especially when he mention that the BARC speeder was only $25!!!! I remember that I was literally holding the set in my hands at walmart but I put it back. I kick myself everyday because of that.

Funnily enough, I really adored the clone troopers Vs droidekas battle pack. I was pretty young, so maybe there's a judgement wack thing but I ended up with two of these and I thought the droidekas were the coolest things ever. So from my child self I want to vouch for that set as not as bad as you say.

@@trentoninnewjersey exactly. I also think today they really bring down all cheaper sets because of the ugly play features i wouldnt even have liked as a kid. Better to flick the missile and swoosh it around as a guiding missile than shooting small pieces around which you ll constantly have to look for and get back

I just realized the Ewok village has 15 mini figures, and I was really surprised seeing that much all lined up on the box. Then I remembered that Mos Eisley is going to have 21!

2013 was the last year we really saw a lot of Attack of the Clones sets being made. I'm hoping we see more next year, maybe 2021 can be dedicated primarily to Attack of the Clones. There are some major events, vehicles, and locations in that film which STILL have not had sets made for them, or at the very least not been remade since original release in 2002. I would LOVE to see Dexter's Diner, a remake of the Bounty Hunter chase set and Jango's Slave 1, a Geonosian Arena set, and a minifigure of a Kaminoan get produced.
Despite attack of the clones being a god awful movie, I agree. To get a new, better version of the count dooku duel (a god awful duel to go with the god awful movie) would be awesome.
I still want to see Lego do an SPHA-T

@@reubenclark7603 I wouldn’t say it’s God awful, it certainly is not a very good movie, besides Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Christopher Lee is count Dooku, and Temuera Morrison as Jango Fett, most of the acting is pretty wooden. And the writing is pretty bad for the most part, I like most of the stuff of Obi-Wan, but the romance between Anakin and Padme let’s be honest, it’s pretty bad and it makes movie harder to watch,And the dialogue is really bad you know what I’m talking, I hate sand it’s core and rough and gets everywhere, and I would definitely say it’s most uneventful out of all the peoples really nothing happens for a huge portion of the movie. I like the stuff of Anakin and his mom but I feel like the scene was incredibly rushed, I still think it’s a pretty good same but it could’ve been great, I still do have a soft spot for movie though I don’t hate it, I think it’s mostly because nostalgia, because I grew up watching this movie it’s movie. And I don’t know Hayden Christensen as Anakin, yes his acting is not great,But I don’t think it’s absolutely terrible like most people think, i’ve heard a bunch of people his performance the worst performance I’ve ever seen, I mean I understand if you think it’s a bad performance but come on that’s another exaggeration it’s not that bad, in my defense is a lot of the acting is wooden and you can tell he’s trying.

2013: Good Year for Lego Star Wars.
Jek-14's Stealth Starfighter deserved to be higher on the list: it's a unique ship within LEGO; it's based off of the New Republic E-Wings, and it's probably the only official LEGO E-wing we'll ever see (unless they show up in the current canon); as far as I know, LEGO Star Wars has no other vehicles with the black with some red and gray color palette; the set has 3 unique minifigures and a unique astromech, none of which we have seen before or since (the closest being the other Jek-14 minifigure and the clone trooper special forces commander); Jek-14 looks spot on, and has a great second face print; Jek-14 is one of the strongest characters in Star Wars (even though he is barely canon); THAT IS NOT A BLUE STORMTROOPER, THAT IS A SPECIAL FORCES CLONE TROOPER; the set is from LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles, which is way better than Star Wars Resistance. The only downside that I have experienced is that it's hard to move the wings from the landing position to flight mode, and vice-versa.

The micro dropship and AT-TE are probably my favourite advent calendar builds.
Also, a couple of notes:
The build in the Clone/droideka battle pack is the forward command centre where Yoda goes on Geonosis.
Jek-14's fighter actually isn't an original Lego design. It's the E-wing from Legends with a different colour scheme.
I accidentally was gifted two AT-RT's, and I'm so glad in retrospect
That A-Wing was my first ever LEGO Star Wars set.

Im actually really nostalgic for 2013 as the corprate alliance tank droid was my first(and personal favorite) star wars set and there was just so many other good lego star wars sets.
Who else had the sith trooper battle pack a few years ago but lost it like me :/

I was six or seven when these came out and that was when I began getting into Star Wars and I got most of these sets, it is basically my childhood
I was 7 when these sets came out, and although I never got any of these sets, they show that 2013 was the best year for Lego Star Wars
all of this to me was nostalgia
What sucks is that I have the corpret allence tank droid but when I got it I was to young to relize what it was so now the build is in pieces, the clone is nowhere to be found, I lost jangos jet pack,and the geniosion droids head and legs are broken
Edit: I also had the clone battle pack and can’t find that sergeant clone for the life of me

2013 is my favorite year of Lego Star Wars. The old republic battle pack was the first Lego Star Wars set it ever got and it’s what got me into Star Wars in the first place. I remember how excited I was when I got the rancor pit and Ewok village sets. Also, the Jek-14 set was badass in my opinion
I remember I got that republic gunship for Christmas in either 2013 or 2014 (I don't remember which) and I was so fricking happy when I got it. It is still one of my favorite lego sets I have to this day

I remember my dad bought the ewok Village. It was the highlight of visiting him in Scotland but he dismantled it now along with the rest of his Lego sets
I remember back in 2013 when I just kept passing by the lego store and seeing the ewok village. I wanted it so bad as kid now I cannot get it, but hopefully I can in the future.

Will you review the Ewok village at some point soon? I know you have to build it and don’t have space but it’s a great set and many viewers would like to see a review of it.
12:05 The thing is, when you pay 200 dollars for a Lego UCS set they expect you to be a little more competent than a first-grader so you can actually apply stickers correctly without screwing up.

I totally forgot how awesome 2013 was for LEGO Star Wars, like there’s a reason I got so many sets from this wave and that’s because they all hit it out of the park with the builds and especially the figures, the A-Wing was my personal favorite from that year and still is to this day.
