“It’s not a fatal disease” I’m sorry, but did I hear that right? My best friend with epilepsy has died in his sleep from choking during a seizure , I almost died from a seizure, there is many ways you can die from epilepsy and seizures, hitting your head after falling if standing, choking, the seizure it’s self, like ITS NOT JUST A DISEASE ITS A FATAL DISEASE THAT COULD KILL PEOPLE

Also people who have ever had Epilepsy that is control or uncontrolled are known to have a reduced life expticy of up to 15 years, compared to people who have never had Epilepsy in their life. I developed epilepsy in my late 30's and I already had seizures once in awhile since I was nine years old. I talked to my neurological and she put me on seizure medication and it's gotten better. I only had two seizures in the last three months but it's because I had infections and I recently found out I have an ovarian cyst and I am going to get my ovaries removed very soon. I am waiting for test results for possible cancer too. I haven't been seizure free for so long though. I am happy with my medication. Once I get my ovaries removed I will recover and be able to live my life a bit. I have been sick for a while. I do have two neurological conditions one is unknown the other is called Tardive Dystonia.
