No actually nintendo would probably still be somewhere out there in the entertainment industry, the home gaming industry that nintendo invented however would not have a clear future
@@Min4617_imo, shouldn’t have been the title of the video in the first place. Knowingly titling something in a way that can obviously be misconstrued or misleading is a mistake.
OF COURSE Nintendo didn’t forget about Mario he’s ritually the mascot of the entire company Edit: I meant to say Literally not ritually these typos are so annoying.
How could Nintendo forget about Mario? Mario is their mascot,of course they would never forget him. They even made the Mario movie which was a huge hit and they even confirmed a sequel for 2026. So people saying Nintendo forgot about him are losing their minds.
Of course we will never ever forget all about Super Mario Bros because those characters are so, so popular to me ,especially when Mario and Luigi was born in 1983,same like my age.😊❤🎉
If any other franchise were to receive this many releases in such a short time, people would be whining about oversaturation and franchise fatigue. Yet for some reason it's a-ok when Nintendo milks Mario....
Big props to making this video as a follow up to your banger video that did insane numbers, someone at Nintendo must’ve saw it and took it personally haha!
i havent seen the "nintendo forgot mario" video but it feels like its basically what you'd get if people talked about mario the way they talked about sonic.
Nintendo has NEVER forgotten their Number One Mascott the Super Star Super Mario because in last year 2023 there came Super Mario Bros Wonder and Super Mario RPG Remake, in this year 2024 until the Mid-Summer there came Mario VS. Donkey Kong Remake, Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door HD Remake and Mario&Luigi Brothership is coming in november and if Nintendo Switch 2 is really coming in 2025 I believe with that the Next 3D Super Mario game Super Mario Galaxy 3, Odyssey 2 or a whole New Mario game what I believe Super Mario Odyssey 2 is the Nearest one, but Galaxy 3 would be awesome to see too: Here we Go WAHOO! 😆❤️🔥
So far, throughout the Nintendo Switch era so far, I liked EVERY SINGLE Mario games and spinoffs that had been on this console, be it Super Mario Odyssey back in 2017, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and the upcoming Mario & Luigi Brothership (or shall I call it Mario & Luigi Brotherhood). 👍👍👍 Aside from that, don't worry, Nintendo had NOT forgotten about Mario, even though there won't be another 3D open-world Mario game anytime soon.
The biggest thing I want that's missing now is the Winter Olympics titles. Like, JEEZ, Nintendo and Sega. Like, 2018, it was excusable since we hasn't gotten our Summer Olympics title yet, but 2022, you give us nothing, I just don't like that, man. Give us the Winter Olympics back, man.
Nintendo's really gonna forget about Mario? Without Mario, not only would we have Nintendo, but we would have never recovered from the Video Game Crash of 83. Or maybe Nin10doland is tired of seeing the original video everywhere.
Me after the direct: this direct has it all, mario, dk, metroid, zelda, ... Wait, WHERE’S KIRBY?!! I’m not actually worried, because even if this year got no kirby games, next year will have the juicy stuff, I just feel it
I think Kirby got his fill (ha) with a new 2D game, his first EVER 3D GAME, a few Switch spin-offs, and Return to Dream Land’s remake. If the pink puffball is getting any more on the Switch, it might be a port- Epic Yarn, Triple Deluxe/Planet Robobot, or Air Ride. Air Ride would be sick.
I'm glad you’ve embraced the meme But you gotta understand why it became a meme in the first place Like, you know how much of a ridiculous claim that was?
Some video game franchises get too many games that it becomes annoying. But Mario is the exception, there is no game franchise that is as consistent as Mario. A bad Mario game is never broken no glitches or anything. a mediocre Mario game is a good game. and a good Mario game is a master piece
You know....this is a good time to be a Mario fan. Mario's run on the Nintendo Switch has been dominant, to say the least. All sorts of games to appeal to a wide variety of players. My favorite game on Switch is Super Mario Party. Yes, yes; it aged like milk, but there a a bunch of little details that keep my interest to this day. The sports games are fun. In order, I like Mario Golf, then Tennis, then Strikers. I wish Baseball could have returned. Odyssey and Wonder are great, fresh entries on Switch. Neither are my favorite games in their genres, but I still have fun with 'em. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate isn't _strictly_ a Mario game, but a very good one. Whether you count it as part of the series, there's a hefty amount of Mario content, including three new fighters. Then there's Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The original MK8 was already a fantastic package on Wii U, but this version only renewed it as my second favorite Mario Kart. Lots of tracks, item customization, and a fabulous roster are things I will cherish indefinitely. Indeed, Nintendo has done well with their mascot.
I'm never going to take someone seriously who claims Mario is forgotten. He's the SpongeBob of video game characters, we get enough of him during the day, we don't need him in our dreams.
So far in 2024, we have 6 Mario games: Mario vs Donkey Kong Princess Peach Showtime Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door Luigi's Mansion 2 HD Super Mario Party Jamboree Mario & Luigi: Brothership
I think the main problem with that original Mario video of yours was just that the title and thumbnail... weren't very good. Sorry to say. I just don't know how anyone could look at that aggressively ragebait-y looking thumbnail with a crying Mario and big red X's and the capitalised "FORGOTTEN" in the title and not immediately judge it and your character before even watching. Whether you knew it or not you kinda set yourself up there. Instead of "Nintendo has FORGOTTEN about Mario" the real title should have been something like "Where is the next big 3D Mario?" because that was what you were actually talking about in that video. Instead of crying Mario with big red X's it could have been just Mario pondering something and maybe a couple question marks thrown in, I don't know. Just anything that gets the actual intent of the video across in a more calm, collected manner instead of... Yeah... But either way, all that's behind us now. Nintendo clearly has not FORGOTTEN about Mario now. That whole experience serves as a good lesson to always think about how other people may interpret your work.
"Nintendo has not forgotten about Mario" well no duh, there was the Mario Movie we got and a confirmed sequel in 2026. Edit; *proceeds to show Princess Peach Showtime in the thumbnail*
