All these years and I never knew this was possible! Here I was thinking everyone was making painting recolors lol At least this is a little less involved. And you can keep the screenshot in case the in-game photos get borked!
you HOPE this was useful??? Beyond. You just changed my life! lol I can't believe there's a way to do this w/o having to exit the game. Thank you so much!
This was absolutely amazing! I never knew you could do this. I've put screenshots on the "custom paintings" folder and had sims paint them before, but this is much cooler and better! Thank you so much for this brilliant tutorial! I'm super excited to try it out for myself! :D
Thank you!! I’m so glad you found it useful☺️ I remember doing the custom paintings way before but it was always a bit of a pain if you didn’t have a sim who was artistic 😅 I love how quick it is to just replace the snapshot file!
Love this! I've been doing some photos I've found of the premades online, and recoloring some photoframes with SimPe and photoshop and it's been super fun, I do like this method though! Thank you for this
Thank you!! tbh I didn't even know of the SimPE way until you brought it up 😆 that sounds fun though and it looks like it's a great option if you want to use specific frames that are already in the game or CC ones! SimPE can be kind of intimidating for me, but maybe one day I'll try and learn that other way lol but I do like how quick and "easy" it is to just replace the snapshot file!
@@Starwinxie SimPE is definitely intimidating, the first time I tried to do the recoloring method I messed it uo and didn't try it again for a long time lol. Once you get the hand of it for the ones I was doing, it's pretty easy. Just a little bit of resizing and placing it into photoshop. I might do a tutorial on it sometime in the future. I want to try this way though!
thanks for showing this simple process via video! I tried explaining it to a few sims 2 players in text form and they got so confused! so I'm gonna send them this video instead 😁 what pose boxes would you recommend for family photos? tysm
Yay! I hope it helps them out! Honestly family poses have been really hard for me to come by :/ DeeDee-Sims is really the one I know of the most & I know she has at least a few family pose boxes!

You’re welcome!! 🥹 I’m happy to help! I love how simple and quick this method is. It doesn’t make the process such a chore 😅
