This yard was so bad the city actually contacted us by email to help them out. The home actually has someone living in it and is under violation for the condition of the yard. The best part is that the man from the city who reached out doesn’t want this family to have to pay fines so he went out of his way to contact us after coming across one of our videos on the internet. After talking with the man and woman who live there I found out that the husband has a heart condition which won’t allow him to do this heavy of a cleanup and they just can’t afford to get the work done. They have less than a week to get this huge job taken care of so we stepped in to help. Not only is this the biggest front yard cleanup we have ever done on this channel (just wait until you see the amount of brush we cleared) but the back yard has a huge tree that fell and is part of the violation if not taken care of. This job took multiple days to finish, so day 1 we started work on the front clearing out tons of undergrowth on this tree and working our way around the landscaping of the home which was covered in IVY and day 2 we called in back up and some of my friends who helped us out in the back yard with this massive tree. So pleased that an official from the Council, with your help, sorted out a solution to the problem rather than fine the couple who didn’t have the money anyway. Better to do this than possibly cause more problems down the line due to non-payment.

If only more Council, City, State, and US officials thought like that Councilor. Put people like this couple in touch with someone who can help them out. God bless this father and sons for their kindness, caring, selfless, help for the homeowners. God bless the father for teaching his boys so many good qualities and the skills they may need someday, if they choose to own a home. I’m so proud of those boys! Everyone worked sooo hard! I pray someone else will help the couple out with a power-wash on the house and a painting. Let the couple enjoy as many of their remaining years in their home. You don’t know what other people’s lives are like, what their stories are. Reaching out a hand to help is far kinder than assuming and being a heartless person.

The cleanliness was impeccable and the fact that someone from the city got in touch to avoid a fine was a commendable gesture.
In most cases, the original citation is just a warning. It gives the resident a timeline to come into compliance. The worst problems are when homeowners simply ignore the original notice. Public employees aren’t monsters. Many state and local codes have provisions for delaying action or excepting disabled or aged homestead properties.
You all are rocking this yard OUT! Golly day - what a beastie to tackle. The NINJA BOYS, are such great helpers. They swoop in grabbing and hauling away debris so fast. This family is truly blessed with this tidy up. You all are doing a terrific service to your community. We need to getting MATCHING bright colored shirts for the boys. Yard Ninjas!!!

This should be a role model for how public servants can/should act to problem solve for the community. This way everyone is better off, not just the couple that were unable to deal with this problem on their own. The neighborhood benefits when homes are cared for, boosts property values and makes it a safer environment as well. Thank you for taking on this huge task.

It's not unusual. It's actually more usual than people know. Especially when the homeowner has medical issues. There's a few channels on yt that go around and do this. They're amazing!
While it is unusual, BB has no doubt made his channel known to city code enforcement so they can feed him these projects. These yard care channels only have two ways of scoring enough cleanups to keep their channels going: either they see overgrown yards while driving around or, far more efficiently, get leads from the city. No overgrown yards equals no cleanup projects equals no monetized You Tube channel.

I have to say, it's very disappointing that they belong to a church and the church (pastor, congregation) didn't come out to help take care of this yard much earlier. Before it got to this condition. @@bethadams1767 I think they are in NC. They have lots of tapes. Two mid-size boys and now a younger son too. Just think of what a blessing he is to his sons also. Teaching them to have great hearts and in-- shape bodies. (So many out-of-shape kids these days.)

When i did lawn and landscape work i always carried a couple cans of wasp and hornet spray in my truck. Saved me a couple of times and made it safer for the people that lived there . Love what you and your boys are doing and agree its good to teach them good moral values when they're young . My kids worked with me. And I must say they turned out to be adults i can be proud of. Y’all did a fantastic job! From my yard experience, that yard has been growing for 15-20 years. What a blessing for the homeowners!
Depends on where you live. In Florida, it could be 3-5. DH and I referred to FL summers as the sunbane. We would get down and spend two days cleaning. Up North, 15-20 could easily be right. Trees growing in the gutters mean it’s been some growing time.
That was a big job, imagine how much it would have cost to pay someone to do that job.
In the after pictures, I would have never guessed it was the same house . It was heartwarming to see your son working with you. You do fantastic work.

LOVED this episode!! The many layers. I’m goin on 70 and it’s encouraging to see young folk helpin them out. What a BIG job. That littlest guy of yours sure isn’t afraid of work. His oldest brother could learn from him instead of standing around with his sunglasses and ear plugs on. Wasn’t going to say anything till I watched big brother move little brother so the camera was on the big brother only. I homeschooled my two when it was illegal. They’ve grown up to be mighty fine adults.

I understand the owner had heart problems ,but this grow up over night this was years of growth, where was family and friends ,get so tired of hearing excuses for these home owners ,thier is no excuse for this kind of growth in a yard ,it's call ,lazy and didn't care .
@@peggypollock3030 maybe they don’t have family around , not all friends help . Many reasons it could get this bad , plus growth happens faster in southern states , lots of factors going into the whys here .
@@peggypollock3030most of the time heart problems occur because of prolonged stress over years. You don't know what's happening inside of you for years. You only feel more tired, less capable over years till it shows up in medical tests and loss of capabilities. By the time it's too late you are behind in everything. You loose a job, have a setback things accumulate. Over years things bulid up it's a vicious circle.
Now a days, kids don't know what labor work is. What a delight, it makes my heart joyful the father teaches them how to work.😊 Great job boys. Your father is a great dad.

You guys are unbelievable. I keep saying I don't know where all the kindness, compassion, and love have gone between neighbors. We don't talk like we used to. We don't know how everyone is doing. Yards around this home are looking good so surely someone had to have known something was going on. Instead of reaching out, we notify authorities. We can't be mean and hateful to others. Such a beautiful yard and trees. After that severe pruning, they will be so happy and grow feet up towards the sky, like they're supposed to. I used to help my Dad and his friend (friend had a tree service). He would let us keep the wood that we cleaned up. Dead limbs in our truck, green in his friend's truck. We had a wood stove to help heat our house. It was in the basement that my father and I finished into a living area. 😊❤
