I think ep 3 Anakin had it in him to beat almost everyone unless he let feelings get in the way, except the desire to protect, he lost to Obi Wan because rage made him reckless, strong yes, but strength isn't everything, you need control.
“The sith control everything”
@@shreksswamp1182 lol not that kind of control, but yea Sidious controlled his rage and used it the "right" way, Anakin let it out and let himself be overcome by it.
@@william7546 hahah I know ‘‘twas just a joke towards pooku
Obi wan new anakins fighting style better than anyone and he was a master of seresu. A direct counter to anakins form.
@@dildobaggins2759 lol no it wasn’t. Form 3 was made for full defence, mainly against blaster bolts.
Sidous underestimated obi wan habitually.
I would've loved to have seen Grievous vs Pong Krell.
If Krell wasn’t insane as well. Still a solid warrior but that is interesting
Cybernetic four arms vs organic four arms
Grievous absolutely bodies krell in 30 seconds tops
@@danielpluth3777 mere clones brought Krell down so Grievous would whack him for sure.
They should do what marvel did and make a what if series would be sick
"Okay, I'm going to put this lightsaber at the end of this really narrow plank of wood. When Grevious sees it, he'll run over to grab it for his collection. Once he's at the very edge, I'll kick him over into a bottomless ravine."
_--Papa Palpatine_
we already saw someone kick grevios and failed
The fact that Palpatine wanted to leave the Empire in Anakin's hands really says something about his faith in his power. Palpatine trusted no one, cared for no one, and especially loved no one. He saw the entire galaxy as tools at his disposal.
Anakin was the closest thing he had to a son
@@redjirachi1 that would imply Palpatine was capable of love. He wasn't. He was a sociopath of the highest degree.
So Palpatine planned to have Grievous killed at the end of The Clone Wars. If General Grievous fought Anakin Skywalker (Dark Side), Anakin would destroy Grievous with the Dark Side.
The council didn't want it that way
To be fair any jedi could kill him from a hundred feet away. I really have no reason why they just don't crush him into a ball
@@TheDrexLord its not possible for every jedi. Some are afraid of his nature, thus leading their force to struggle.
@@TheDrexLord isn't force crush a dark side move?
Force crush in .05 seconds over.
I love how it's canon, Sidious ever the sentimental kept Grievous bionic carcass and used it, and stored it on a storage facility
How powerful would General Grievous become if he was force sensitive along with his cybernetic enhancements?
General Grievous would be as strong as Mace Windu.
I really hope we see a spinoff series just of this character and his back story. I want to see more of his wrath.
We need a new show in clone wars animation! Star Wars untold or untold stories! Just tons of random stories we haven’t seen like maybe missions of obi wan and anakin before the clone wars, back story on general grievous, some empire days in clone war animation and a back story on jango fett and how he became the clone template. Would be cool to see jango in clone wars animation, Even boba as well !
"Palpatine did not want Grievous and Anakin to encounter one another as he believed General Grievous had a chance to get lucky against Anakin" but in your "Why Palpatine Didn't Allow Grievous To Duel Anakin.." video you say Grievous is a massive threat to Anakin and "Palpatine was afraid of what General Grievous is capable of". So did Palps think Grievous was a fearsome powerhouse capable of killing anyone or was he just a possible monkey wrench ???
Buddy, don’t look into it too much. Most of this guys videos are head canon
Yea he said Obi Wan and Anakin were gonna beat Grievous on the Invisible Hand, but Obi Wan was suppose to be killed in the duel with Dooku so that makes so sense.
Because Anakin is exactly the type of overaggressive fighter that Grievous was built to exploit.
@@maxburrill6192 Grievous with the ability to analyze a person's fighting style and replicate it or just immediately scan their weaknesses and exploit them... is what Grievous was built to exploit... it's not that he was bad vs heavy defense and good vs heavy offense it's that the only thing that could stop him is literally the force cheating him of his victory with impregnable defense. The same could be said that Anakin as the chosen one would be able to overpower anyone with pure the will of the force guiding his destiny but it seems like only Obi-wan really had that luck.
Would be nice to see a multiverse storyline where Anakin helps Windu kill Palpatine and reaches his full potential, perhaps later going to the dark side on his own and openly challenging the Jedi.
General Grevious was a potential rivial like Dooku in his leadership role of the confederacy, they both had to go like the confederacy itself.
If Anakin went with obi won to fight grievous, it might take long enough for his wife to give brith. Also it might give time for Anakin to realized he might being played. As his vision of the future would not have came true. For Obi won help stay him on light side long enough to get through it. It would foiled palatine plan because Anakin generally recanters him self towards the light.
He was so nerfed if people would know how strong He was in the comics
it was lucas' vision to have Grievous be weak against the force, he wanted him to be imposing and a force of fear to the jedi but not to the extent it would make him equal to them.
but to give credit where its due they still show cased Grievous really well he overwhelmed obi wan kenobi who at the time was a council member and jedi master which resulted in him having to use a desperate move in order to avoid being plummeted to his death. with the only other confirmed jedi council members to have fought grievous were ki-adi mundi and mace windu
ki fighting and struggling for his life in that instance and mace becoming fully aware that grievous had adapted himself to his saber technique an therefore a big enough threat that he had to blast him with the force to get away from him.
so nerf isn't the right word i would use but rather i'd say it was his limiter being that he was strorng enough to combat jedi masters of council rank in saber combat but not in ways of the force.
Almost like its a precursor showing that no matter the plans Sidious had for Anakin/Vader.....that Anakin/Vader always had his own plans that could mess up or alter Sidious's.
In the end his plan was to kill everybody lol
Just like the Joker in the bank heist at the beginning of the Dark Knight.
Of course he needed to, he wanted to make sure that no evidence of the Separatists were left in order to end the Clone Wars. This explains why he had Anakin kill the Trade Federation, separatist leaders and Dooku
This definitely made sense, he would never issue order 66 with grievous alive
Me after Stupendous Wave releases another great video: *ANOTHER FINE ADDITION TO ADD TO MY COLLECTION!*
I feel Palpatine's pain a final fight between Anakin and General Grievous would be so cool dam Anakin's compassion for Obi-Wan on the Invincible Hand will cost him an arm and two legs enjoy your suit young fool.
To me it always seemed and still does seem like sidious, while he believed Anakin would win in a battle between him and dooku, left the result up to both of his potential apprentices. He setup the board in such a way that he would win no matter what. If dooku beat anakin, he would have gone with the plan that had dooku kill grievous. And had grievous killed the survivor between dooku and anakin somehow, it seems likely to me that Dooku would have given him a prominent position in the empire as the hero that killed the Evil jedi. Grievous would have been an okay asset during order 66 too. It would have proved to him that both dooku and anakin would have been shitty apprentices if they weren't even able to kill grievous at this stage. No matter what would have happened. Even if grievous got a lucky win in. Sidious would have his empire and someone to eradicate the jedi by his side.
Darth Vader with Grievous technology instead of the 1970's robot tech. Oh, the possibilities.
So if Anakin had proven to Palps that he could beat Dooku, he thought Anakin was finally ready to take on Grievous because he beat Dooku and therefore he could beat Grievous because he beat Dooku so he was ready to fight Grievous
I do like that, but there is one more thing that stands in Anakin's way of the dark side. Padme. I think Palaptine would have send Padme off on a critical peace keeping mission, had obi-wan been killed by grievous, then grievous would have been told of her location and told to kill her instantly on sight. That would have driven Anakin into a rage unlike any other. allowing him to kill the general.
Or even worse if Anakins child(ren) were also killed if his child(ren) survived even with Padme And Obi Wan dead I think they would have enough light in them to snap Anakin out of it if Grievous killed his child(ren), Padme, And Obi Wan though there would be no one to pull him back to the light left except maybe Ahsoka if Anakin could get over the fact she left the order when he felt he still needed her so yeah.
Anakin's popularity in the eyes of the public would have soared if he put down Griveous
Get the plans and I do believe Anakin would have made spare parts of grevious
Ohhhh! I thought him telling anakin to tell the council, that he Palpatine, who he knew they distrusted, to send ANAKIN to fight Grievous...was a reverse psychology trick to get obiwan sent away with anakin kept on courascent.
Yoda said it, Sidious' faith in Anakin was misplaced, as was his faith in the dark side being more powerful than the light side. Yoda was correct, Kenobi was the one who took out Grievous and defeated Anakin, proving that he both overestimated Anakin and underestimated Kenobi, who one could argue is the Jedi's Jedi. In the end, Vader turned back into light side Anakin, which proved the Emperor's undoing.
Its not about which side the force user is on but depends on there midichlorian count, mastery, experience, knowledge, education, study, variety, etc yeah.
Palpatine does like to underestimate Obi Wan Kenobi. Thinking he couldnt possibly beat Greivous, thinking he couldnt possibly beat Anakin. If only we had got to see him underestimate Obi Wan one more time in a duel between Obi Wan and the Dark Lord of the Sith himself.
Might as well do a "What if..." scenerio of General Grievous being able to use the force and/or his brainwaching wearing off.
They were all pawns. Every last one of them. *Wow.*
Thank you for the video . Lord Vqrder would destroy grievous has no chance against Darth Vader Revenge of the Sith grievous would have a chance a slim chance but Lord Varder after Mustfar Anakin Skywalker Master of the Force crush .This is what happen lord Varder would grab him with the force .the rip off his legs and arms and then use Force Lighting that has never been seen before .Lord Varder easy win .
What I find funny. Is that if Palpatine had kept dooku as his apprentice and killed anakin. He may have never actually lost
I believe Maul was gonna get bumped off at the end of the Clone Wars. Maybe match him against Jedi till one finally got him . But anyways it goes I think Maul was never gonna see Sheeve reign
In Canon had Maul not failed on Naboo he would be in the position Dooku had in the original Canon timeline with Dooku serving in a more Tarkin Esque role on steroids yeah.
could palpatine not have just force crushed him?
I love how Palps repeatedly think Kenobi some.sort of pussy.1at KENOBI cuts Maul in half and thought dead. Then takes out Grevious on Uttaphu And there takes Vaders limbs and just for shits and gigglea vurns him.to within an inch of his life
I’m a little confused how Palpatine’s plans were for Anakin and Obi-Wan to duel Grievous together when Palpatine stated to Dooku he needed Kenobi dead to push Anakin to the dark side.
Sidious could just lift grievous up in the air and crumple him like an empty soda can
"Shocking!"
He had to have the general killed so he could terminate the Jedi. If grievous was around he would want the sabers
I mean worst case scenario, Palpatine could have stomped Grievous easy
Also, he could have taken Grevious out himself using force lightning if he had to.
I wonder if Grievous was as OP as he was in The Clone wars 2003 and in the end of revenge of the Sith Grievous and Sidious would duel to see who would control the Empire. And if he was as OP as he was in the Clone wars 2003. Well, probably Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and so many more knights and Masters would've fallen. Also your probably wondering why I left out Anakin, well thats because Sidious would not want Anakin facing off against Grievous until he was at his max potential. so he could see who would be his better apprentice.
Honestly this would be really cool. As his nerf in everything proceeding the 2003 clone wars could possibly to drawn back to Mace Windu crushing Grievous's chest plate. But if General Grievous was as powerful as he was in the 2003 Clone Wars series, Sidious if he ever dueled Grievous to see who would become the Leader of the Empire I still believe Palpetine would win. Unless he forced Grievous and Anakin into a position where they dueled against each other to see who would become Sidious's apprentice.
Except the 2003 series exaggerated all the main characters abilities.
Couldn’t Force Crush end it all in 5 seconds? Like Luke in The Mandalorian…
What’s the “invisible hand” that he’s speaking of?
that is the name of the ship Sidious was "captured" on, at the start of ROTS ... Grevious's ship
Anime Grevious was TERRIFYING!
IMO, Grievous had a few of the best Droids alongside him.
A4-D, TV-94, and TV-94B.
All a predator would need to deal with the general would be timing. And who would have gone after greivous? Likley a team of bounty hunters so I'd give it to an elite hunter
Dooku was toying with Anakin, as requested by Palpatine. so saying that Anakin defeating Dooku was proof that he could defeat Grievous is not correct.
Very interesting
The Legendary Obi Wan Kenobi
A sound plan, Anakin and Obi-wan were a powerful combo. Anakin was becoming the hero of the republic.
i always thought Palpatine planed for grievous to be a inquisitor to the empire he did hate jedi after all
I thought Palpatine tried to clone Grievous after his death.
Makes sense.
What would happen if Anakin dueled General Grievous?
Sidious makes no since, he could use Grevious as a body Gaurd, he could capture him and make him forger about the clone wars.
Just my opinion, it would be a waste
THAT was a good video
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
We know that there were 9 times anakin saved Obi-Wan. But what if these were not just random encounters. Was Darth sideous secretly trying to assinate, Obiwan.
✨Stupendous video👍
TBH, Anakin's style of fighting would get him killed by Grievous
GG cant be stopped 🦾🦾🤖
But a Nikon didn’t beat duku from skill, wasn’t it planned for duku to lose?
What would happen to Darth Vader's force potential if he never got burned on Mustafar? How would the people of the Galaxy view Darth Vader knowing that he was once the great Jedi Anakin Skywalker?
Answers: Anakin would be at least twice as powerful ad Palpatine and would have ruled the Galaxy with an iron fist.
Once Vader’s identity as Anakin was revealed he went on to become one of the most ill remembered people in galactic history and his memory would be later used against Leia to step down from leading the new republic by her opponents after they leaked their connection
It depends on how the story gets out. To the history books, and most people, he'd never even be known as Vader. He'd be one of the few good Jedi, who helped end their treachery.
"Holy Hannah!" 😍
Palpatine sho I ld have used the force to break Obi-Wans neck while Anikan was busy with the Count
In Episode 6 Anakin would've washed Grievous.
Makes me wonder what if Anakin was sent to Utapau?
If grievous doesn’t have a force shield. How come a powerful Jedi couldn’t just crush his metal rib cage?
We’ve seen yoda lift pillars, how come something similar couldn’t work?
Grievous basically breaks the Jedi's composure before they can do anything.
Or in other words: He's an unstoppable force and overwhelms his opponents
But say a master like Windu or someone powerful like anakin (I know they both never faced grevious) but if they did could they have the composure to do so? It seems like a much easier feat
It's hard to say but I believe he would have been more than well equipped to take down Grievous because if he was able to kill most of the Jedi during order 66 not just Masters but younglings I'm pretty sure he would have more than been able to kill Grievous
hearing this I now feel like we were robbed of a 2003 style General Grievous vs Darth Vader battle and I am now disappointed, Clone wars Grievous wouldn't put up to much of a fight it'd be him trying to escape while Vader walks towards him like a horror movie killer
Anakin beat dooku because dooku was not trying to kill him. Just training and angering him to switch to the dark side. Anakin would have lost against grievous and dooku if they were aloud to kill him.
I think this video exemplifies exactly why Anakin lost against Obi-Wan, so horribly.
Yes Anakin was powerful and capable but he had spent years having the game rigged in his favor causing to him to have success after success after success it build up his confidence 211 that was a liability and then when he became a sith on top of that the overconfidence was doubled. That is why Anakin lost his arms and his legs and got roasted.
The failure evader against Obi-Wan was just as much the emperor's. He worked so hard to create a image of the Jedi Golden boy that he like a moron started to believe it himself.
I do not understand why lany Jedi above a youngling could not just force crush general grievous into his death he had no force abilities so it does not make no sense
I feel either way Palpatine’s plan would have worked and Anakin would have annihilated Grievous during the Clone Wars or after it!
Well Darth Sidious had to do with Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano do best improvise. Jkjk the man is a criminal mastermind he had a plan for a plan fail safe for fail safe.
What about a what if anakin left obi wan to die on the ship
You mean envy not jealous
not Jealous Vengeful
Man how you know all this? You talked to George?
honestly, it makes no sense that grevious could kill any jedi. It doesen't matter how strong of powerful of a duelist he is, all a jedi needs to do is lift him into the air and pull him apart with the force.
Oh really?
Grievous usually Ambush Jedi and Blitz them also remember using the Force needs concentration
Any normal Jedi could be calm if you are ambushed by him? Also droids
You really think when you are lifting him like thousands of b2 battle droid wont kill you?
Also Most Jedi doesnt have enough force power to do that actually this is why you dont see Jedi lifting and Pulling apart droids in Battle of Geonosis stop overestimating Jedi Force powers
Lastlly If Grievous got himself a Ysalamiri even Full potential Anakin would get killed
Ysalamiri just disable any force powers remember
Anakin would've completely destroyed Grevious with just his power in the force. If suit Vader can pull down and rip apart ships what chance would Grevious have?
No offense to vader, i know hes too powerful especially before he hqd cybernetics yet, but uhh....anakin had never faced grevous. I think there was a chance our 4 armed friend comes out on top against dark side anakin the first time they actually battle
Grievous would've made a great Inquisitor.
He would've eaten those losers for breakfast. The Grand Inquisitor who's regarded as the best and most powerfull of them was besten by a padawan after all. If Grievous served the empire Vader and Palpatine would've no need for them.
The jedi only regards the jedi the sith the dathonirians[in a neutral way) and one other people as tribes that can touch the force
Too bad grievous didn't go the other way become a good guy or part of the rebels find out he was getting used played the whole time
Someone make a What If of Anakin defeating Count Dooku and General Grievous.
Captain Tarpals almost made this video entirely unnecessary 🤣
how many comments by king shadow
Hiya
Sidious believed Anakin was powerfull enough to kill Grievous, that's a fact.
And I think that Anakin would've done it if the council allowed him to go after Grievous.
For those who say: "But he lost to Obi Wan", this fight wasn't planned, because Sidious never thought Obi Wan would survive his battle against Grievous or Order 66.
Anakin needed Sidious's guidence down the dark path and Obi Wan would ruin everything (what he eventually did).
Anakin was conflicted, unable to think clearly and when he choked his wife after Obi Wan appeared, Anakin snapped because he thought Padme brought Obi Wan to kill him.
He attacked the one he loved, the one person he wanted to save from certain death. He sacrificed everyone and everything he ever was to achieve this and now he may have lost everything. If that's not enough to break someone I don't know what is.
But back to Anakin vs Grievous: Grievous's key to success was that he ambushed his victims.
He brought the battle to them, frightening them and breaking their spirit and therefor their ability to use the force.
But when Obi Wan faced Grievous on Utapau, Obi Wan turned the table and did exactly the same to him. Anakin can and will do the same. And since Grievous never fought Anakin, he would be utterly unprepared and turned into scrap metal.
Nice
What the hell would Palpatine done if anakin got killed by grievous. Whit duku dead and anakin dead then what.
Just want to start off with my opinion that Grevious, as good a swordmaster as he was, was no Jedi, and strongly overrated. Not to say he wasn't totally bada**, but through lacking the force would have been destroyed easily by Anakin just as Obi-Wan eventually did. The only reason Anakin could have lost, and fully may have, is through fault of his own. His recklessness and over confidence could have proven harmful.
🤔
The clone wars show redeemed Anakin as he should have been and gave excellent stories through out. Except they needed the hell out of grevious. How the hell does a pack of gungans take down grevious. Lol. The original clone was shorts showed grevious as he should have been through out
Grievous would have beat Anakin look at how easily Obi-Wan beat Vader in the Obi-Wan show
Anakin would be a terrible emperor
Grevus was joke…Obi wan kicked his ass
But aint it canon that palpatine told dooku to go easy on anakin and not kill him?
Nope 😸
According to the novelization of ep 3
@@thirdplanet4471 which is no longer canon
@@adrianb714 I don't mind as I currently prefer legends over canon
grievous was so bad in the movies he lost to obi lol
