Love that this video shows the assembler having the same issue I'm having putting on bar with the wheels on it at 1:50, but instead of showing how he got it to go in when it was initially stuck it just jump cuts to it being fixed, so I don't get to see how to fix that assembly issue that's obviously common enough that even the manufacturer can't avoid it. Great assembly video, totally doesn't defeat the purpose of making one separate from the instructions.
Hi, I just bought it recently and I have one issue which I can't figure out - how can I store it vertically folded if it's on wheels? It just keeps rolling away and I would like it to stand leaning against the wall. Is that even possible?
The problem is once you adjust the position of the wheel base thing, then many of the holes you need to mount the wheelbase on become inaccessible. So with my csl elite for example, the middle positions are not usable because the holes for the CSL elite mounting are all of a sudden covered by the rotating mechanism/ handle tubing.

@@NextLevelRacing i preoder in Geekay UAE and i cant wait to experience the sim racing community, hope my thrustmaster t300rs gt can get my expectation because im a beginner in sim racing.
Seriously these instructions suck. Best tutorials include talking and explaining a bit while showing more then a 5 second clip. I had to undo a few steps just to get my floorboard in and still this doesn’t explain how to add the pedal attachments
Having had both the Playseat Challenge and currently the GTLite Pro, I have to say I'm a bit dissappointed at the advertised portability of the GTLite. It looks easy to stow away in the video but it's MUCH more difficult in real life with your rig fully set up and it still takes quite a lot of space even if you fold it up properly. If you're someone who REALLY needs to be able to quickly and easily put your rig into storage the Playseat is a much better choice, however - the GTLite beats it in most if not every other category.
Is it possible to swap what side the entry latch is on? I will be placing this rig up against the wall on the right side of the room and will be entering from the left.
Looking to potentially purchase this and I was wondering if it came with the tools to actually build it. I know adjustment does not need tools but to my understanding the screws and bolts require tools. If they are not provided are there any size specifications for tools I may need to purchase in order to build the setup? Thank you
Quick question, I have the GTLite currently, and in that tutorial, you say to add the strengthening strap from the front legs of the seat to the wheel deck. Im curious as to why this was not implemented as a strengthening point in the GTLite Pro over the straps to the end of the pedal deck. Also, I do like the idea for putting the strap along the bottom of the seat, I have upgraded the brake for my G923 pedals and when I brake too hard with the pedal deck in the lifted position, the pedal deck lifts up the middle area. Thanks!
@@NextLevelRacing I appreciate you guys for that, I found a solution though, the rails for the washers and screws on the pedals rails are too wide to mount using the ones provided so I went to my local hardware store and got wider ones to add, zero issues now I love this racing cockpit you guys are awesome, that was the only issue I ran into assembling it, Thank you!
It's not that easy believe me. It took me 3 hours with my wife to complete the task with all the force that we have. My arm still hurts 😅. I had to apologize to my wife finally
@@NextLevelRacing yep already did, been waiting for a response. i hope i can get help since amazon is refusing to provide a replacement. such a bummer for the incoming holidays..
@@NextLevelRacing the replacement had most of the same frustrating issues :( i just hammered the bad fitting tubes in forcefully, probably won't be able to disassemble it. i think your US warehouse has something going on with GT-lite pro model specifically because i never saw these issues in youtube videos of the product. i dont think its a coincidence that two units have the exact same problems(aside from the damage sustained by the first unit from the delivery) i.e. a.) right side reclining knob stuck(had to hammer it out, and hammer it back in. left side works) b.) most tubes don't fit properly, including shifter plate tube(1:50 tubes nearly impossible to move and align, 3:33 [B], 4:13 didnt fit at all) c.) some tubes are weirdly bent, making screwhole alignment difficult i.e.(0:41 tubes) d.) specifically left side leg cover/protector(the white thing) on the part where you attach the rear bottom support with wheels is ridiculously difficult to remove. i had to drag it off with the hammer claw, which in turn scratches the unit. exact same problem replicated in both units. customer service was good so i'm not really complaining, but just giving you guys a heads up. might be some funny business in your US warehouse in particular with this specific product(i'm located in california). gonna mount fanatech gear tomorrow, hopefully no more issues.
It’s either mine is broken or your tutorial and instructions manual is on step 9 you cannot insert the fucking screw I have spent 2 hours trying to build this shit

One of the absolute worst times ive had installing anything 🤬 why tf would you not give me spare bolts. Had to be half a strongman to force these parts in place 🤮 There isn't even a single part in the box that is wide enough to secure anything to the peddle base, and the guide just skips it. Great chair mate for refund.

Same experience here, on step 6 you feel like you're gonna break the damn thing, refunded as well and EASY TO FOLD my a**, the tightness adjusting leavers also don't click into place unless you put in 50kg of force into them.. low quality product for blasted price
the build quality on this thing is actually so bad and the whole assembly process is awful too, you have to stretch the bars, the tightness adjusting leavers are so freaking hard to pull down and there is decent amount of wobble on the wheel base not to say that the wheelbase is covering the holes needed to mount moza / fanatec wheels on all 4 screws... I mean not a bad concept but very low quality product, refunded and be aware that you won't get what you expect from this thing, especially if you expect you can easily fold this thing without hurting your palms first..

Anyone have trouble attaching a Thrustmaster T248 wheel to the wheel plate? Screws provided aren't long enough, rendering this a big paperweight. 😞
How does one get the hand brake plate holder or does it come with the plate?

There are two packing straps with this, so you could put one from front legs to wheel deck and one from back legs to front legs

How tall is it from the bottom to the top where u place the steering wheel
The position of the steering wheel is relative to the position of the cockpit. If fully upright, from the floor to the steering wheel, is it 75.9 cm.
