You may as well have decent academy players as bench options instead of older cheap players that would be signed down for a few years that aren’t good enough. We’re in a position now where we can address those areas.

Who are the available proven winner managers? Not Pep, Klopp, Ancelotti. Zidane is a ridiculous suggestion. Bayern Munich are struggling to find a manger, theyre considering Ten Hag. If we don't win the title we didn't lose it against West ,Ham, Villa, or Fulham. We were never in those games to win them. We lost the title against Tottnumb and Chelsea early in the season in games we should have won, but our new wounder boy Keeper made 2 school boy errors that cost us 4 points and the title.

@JohnEllis-le9ym No excuses. If we don't win, we blew it, and as I stated, Raya is the culprit . Off the top of my head, he has made at least 8 mistakes this season so far in 30 matches. That's not counting thec3 in Champions league. The 4 dropped points from the 2 games we should have won is the difference. I can Handel a keeper being beat by a shot, but the 2 mistakes by Raya against Spurs and Chelsea were school boy mistakes and they could cost us the season. For me, the #1 job for a keeper is to make saves. Raya has only had 66 shots to save this season , 23 beat him, and 43 were saved. Ramsdale last season faced 136 shots and he was beaten 41 times. Of those 136 shots, 32 were what would be considered big saves , Raya has only had to make a handful of that type of save. For me, Arteta made a huge mistake in bringing in Raya. Ramsdale would easily hadcthe same type of numbers as Raya with our vastly improved defence, and Ramsdale would not have made the 2 mistakes that Raya did to cost us thex2 wins.Had Raya been our keeper last season we would not have finished 2nd last season with the defence we had last season, especially after Partey and Saiba went down halfway through the season.
Only difference between us & city is experience & a killer striker. Give us Isak and bring kai off the bench like an ole gunner sol clutch goals and moments trust.

If we had the chance to win trophies each month I think Arsenal and City would win the most this year but it doesn’t work like that unfortunately. It would be unacceptable for me if I wasn’t seeing a proper vision that looks like it’s not gonna see trophies over a sustained period. We won 4 FA Cups between 2014 and 2020 but I’d prefer the situation we’re in now. I never felt those teams could challenge for trophies consistently but the current team and manager I can see doing more.
