I've known Criss since 1988 when we would go to the dance clubs on Long Island. He was starting to become known for his magic and his music. I did a small photo shoot for one of his album covers with him and a photographer friend of his. He was soo driven back then and still is. He was always very intelligent and a very very genuine human being. I am proud to call him my friend.❤
I used to write Chris Angel off as a cheesball but this interview totally changed my mind on him. Lots of wisdom and anyone who raises that much money for kids with cancer and still covers the costs himself is all good in my book. What a cool dude.

In 2012, my husband and i saw Criss Angel show at the Luxor, where we were staying on our trip. We were late buying tickets to the show, and it turned out the last 2 seats available were in the front row! We were excited! We got to meet Criss, shake his hand, and participate in the show when he interacted with the audience. It was our first Vegas trip and a trip we will never forget 🤘 We now have kids and tell them all about it, lol.

I met David Blaine about 5 years ago, and I was so excited! He turned towards me and he just looked empty. But worse, he felt void, I would say evil, but I don't know what it was, but it's like he has no soul. His eyes were black and he had no energy to him. It was so bizarre.

Watching you through the years gave me hope and I was jealous of how you were doing. Against all odds we did it. You are such a chill and humble dude, that you remind me of myself in that; you want everyone you interact with to be happy and enjoy life no matter what were the guys that would talk down all of their depressed and or suicidal friends, while battling with it daily. Depression is intense and frustrating to pinpoint. Being off drugs helps a lot with that, but still I live with it everyday. Love ya brotha stay strong 💯

I got to see Skid Row 2 times in the 80s & early 90s. Once they opened for Bon Jovi in 1989 (maybe 88. I was 8 or 9) and this was when Skid Row FIRST BROKE INTO THE SCENE! they were TEARING IT UP AND ROCKING THE WORLD! Then I got to see them open for Aerosmith in 1990. BACH sounded EFFING INCREDIBLE live too!!!
I remember going to Clearwater beach for his show during the building demolition. Obviously it was all an illusion, but the energy in the crowd was awesome. He also went into a bar/restaurant that day and didn’t stop people from coming and getting autographs etc

Ive had a spinal tap, i had scarlet fever when i was 6 and almost died. I think the spinal tap is part of the reason I have such terrible lower back pain and problems. I remember that pain an i was 6! ( I'm 43 now btw) It was so horrible id not wish it upon ANYONE

I met David Blaine about 5 years ago, and I was so excited! He turned towards me and he just looked empty. But worse, he felt void, I would say evil, but I don't know what it was, but it's like he has no soul. His eyes were black and he had no energy to him. It was so bizarre.

This interview made me gain so much more respect for Criss Angel.
We need to keep in mind that we are only hearing one side of the story here when it comes to the David Blaine interactions. People in the comments are so quick to make up their minds without even being there. Who knows the tone or if there was sarcasm when Blaine made the comment to his friend about the ring. And what is wrong if David Blaine didn't want a picture with Chris? Chris is acting like people owe him something. Furthermore, Chris kept mentioning these negative thing that Blaine supposedly said or did but then kept saying right after "but it's all good." If it's all good and these incidents were no big deal, then why do you keep mentioning them and talking about it!? His passive aggressive approach is not good. Chris also said that it's all about "love light and positivity." But how is it loving or positive to share personal stories about Blaine like that that are not positive at all. Isn't that hypocritical!?? Especially combined with his pseudo, new age, wannabe, guru, poor self-help coach advice, indoor sunglasses wearing approach....it's all pretty cringe.

Love watching your videos Steve-O. I am 40 and grew up watching you. Also grew up with the same habits. Today I am almost 1 year sober. I never thought I'd see you get better, or myself. Watching you through the years gave me hope and I was jealous of how you were doing. Against all odds we did it. You are such a chill and humble dude, that you remind me of myself in that; you want everyone you interact with to be happy and enjoy life no matter what were the guys that would talk down all of their depressed and or suicidal friends, while battling with it daily. Depression is intense and frustrating to pinpoint. Being off drugs helps a lot with that, but still I live with it everyday. Love ya brotha stay strong 💯

This guy is awesome. Honestly I don't watch a lot of these episodes because no offense, some of the people I just don't find that interesting, but Criss is the exception. He's very interesting. Very intelligent, really enjoyable person to listen to. So wise. So honest. Such an inspirational speaker. I've loved magic since I was a child and Criss is definitely a favorite of mine. I've been a fan of Criss since his TV series Mindfreak. I just recently saw him in Veags at his show Mindfreak and was one of the lucky people he pulled on stage with him. What a great guy. I was so thrilled to be right next to one of my favorite celebrities

Once they opened for Bon Jovi in 1989 (maybe 88. I was 8 or 9) and this was when Skid Row FIRST BROKE INTO THE SCENE! they were TEARING IT UP AND ROCKING THE WORLD!
Then I got to see them open for Aerosmith in 1990.

I remember going to Clearwater beach for his show during the building demolition. Obviously it was all an illusion, but the energy in the crowd was awesome. He also went into a bar/restaurant that day and didn’t stop people from coming and getting autographs etc

That David Blaine bit was a tad hypocritical.. saying you don’t see a U-Haul behind a hearse, and everything that’s materialistic, doesn’t matter, after you just told a story about how you tried to give another grown man a $20,000 ring as some type of amends is weird. The thing that stuck out to me most about this conversation was when Chris is talking about doing something you love as a career, instead of something you don't enjoy. Ive had a spinal tap, i had scarlet fever when i was 6 and almost died.
I think the spinal tap is part of the reason I have such terrible lower back pain and problems.
