I've been searching for THIS EXACT VIDEO for the last year! Thank you for this CLEAR and detailed workflow tutorial. Seriously saved a ton of headache for me and my team!
Nice job. This was thorough and really helpful. Thanks so much. 8:43 - The edge-of-my-seat drama was intense and I was sweating bullets hoping everything would work out!
Excellent video, thank you! Note that Team Projects are currently free for all Creative Cloud users, not just people with Teams or Enterprise licenses. I'm not sure when or if that will change, but at the very least it's a great way for people to try the feature out now.
Thank you, @Peter Lee! I'm curious, are you still able to use teams for free? I actually double-checked with Adobe before putting out this video and they said it was no longer free. Would love to know if they extended it. 🙌
I just used Team Project for the first time on a new job and your tutorial is a god-send! Thank you for making this fun video and I love all the GIFs you used!
Fantastic video Mary. Loved the personality, the fun edits, and memes, and the information was spot on. Well done. Thanks for the hard work that went into this.
Wow, thanks so much, Scott. Means a lot coming from you. When I started shooting weddings, your videos were incredibly helpful, so the appreciation goes both ways. 🙏
I love that... "can't do this weekly... please engage" :))) Brilliant! Well explained... I've been wondering about team projects for a while now and you explained it so well! :)
Hey Mary, this was my first video of yours that I have seen and I LOVED it. I enjoyed the comical moments, GIFs and personality! It was also really easy to follow. I am going to watch the PROXIES vid now as I have more people coming on remotely that I need to share footage with and have already learned how futile it is to send the raw files!! Cheers from Australia! :D
Brad, thanks so much for the nice feedback! I try to make these fun and easy, so your comment means a lot. 🙏 Hope you find the proxies video valuable - it's definitely sped up my workflow. Cheers back at ya from Cali! 🌴
Haha, thank you so much! I'm thrilled to hear this was helpful, and good luck to you and your team with the documentary. Congrats! 🙌 And lemme know when it drops.
Hi, Patrick! Sorry for the delay in responding, but I'm happy to hear you like my jokes and accent. I'm originally from Georgia / South Carolina, but my twang had sadly faded over the years since I've moved. Anyway, thanks for watching and for the nice comment.
looking to improve the work-from-home workflow for my team and ran across your tutorial. thanks for making this informative and entertaining. you have a gift!
Great video - this deserves way more views. Thank you for showing and explaining the worst case scenario of editor conflicts because that happens ALL THE TIME.
One question with Proxies - can I just share the proxy files with my collaborator for them to work from (keeping file transferring time and data usage down) and have their proxy file edits reflect on the original source files on my end for final export/rendering?
YOu made this a breeze! Thank you so much! Love your personality and how you left a bit of you and your sense of humor in the tutorial! Def unique, clean and concise so I'm def subscribing!
Thanks for the great tutorial. Just getting started on a Team Project where I converted a Project already in process, and your information was helpful.
Hi! This video is super well done and helpful! This is a shot in the dark, but could you potentially explain how to send the proxy footage as created in the previous tutorial? I understood how to make them and how to enable them within the scope of my own computer, but I didn't quite understand how to send them to my teammates so they could work on it. Thanks again!
Main question, the footage neeeds to be delivered to the other editors on goggle drive, or adobe resolves this as well? If we are talking about 100+GB, than what is the best/quickest option? THX
I'm having trouble using the adobe creative cloud storage to link missing file to the non-master computer. Please help.. I know there is a way to the share the files without uploading onto each computer individually. Is there an easier way to do this? I may have to call Adobe..
Hi, this is a great video. But when it comes to editing graphics can be a bit complicated. Depending if you right click and select - replace with after effects composition-. But Sometimes we have to select edit original. So, it is a bit confusing when to use what. Because if we select wrong, the media will be offline with other in the team project. Do you have this video covering this and other thing to pay attention? thanks.
Been trying to research and have come up empty so far but, when you share a project and leave comments, where do those comments go? Been using this workflow with another editor and we leave comments but when we get latest changes, we have no idea where the comments are. In this video, you drop some comments in for Miles when sharing at 4:00 but when you hop over to the other workstation and actually get the changes you don't see comments anywhere.
I love this idea. I didn't know it existed. I am editing my own videos and I really struggle with editing. I would like to get help with this editing thing. I would like to inquire more information.
Thank you so so much for your incredibly informative and entertaining tutorials (which are super well edited might I add...). Greatly appreciate you! Adobe should be paying you.
