- Fix FIFA 23 Not Launching When hit on Play, Fix FIFA 23 crash to desktop, Fix FIFA 23 Black Screen, Fix FIFA 23 Freeze on PC
Step 1) Restart the game
Step 2) Restart your PC and launch the game
Step 3) Run Origin/EA as an administrator
Step 4) Enable Secure boot- Shut down your PC, start your PC and immediately keep tapping BIOS key on the keyboard (such as F2/F10/F11 etc. the bios key differs for different brand PC)
Step 5) If using EA app then use Origin/Use EA app if using Origin

Step 6) Repair/Verify the game files on Origin/EA App/Steam/Epic game launcher
Step 7) Uninstall & Reinstall Origin/EA App and then launch FIFA 23
Step 8) Run FIFA 23 as an administrator from the game installation folder (Epic Games Launcher user skip this step as this may result in LS-0013 error)
Step 9) Close origin/EA App, uninstall EA AntiCheat For FIFA 23 Now launch Origin/EA app as administrator and reinstall EA anticheat
If you have any other AntiCheat program (such as faceit anticheat) then uninstalling it may fix the error
Step 10) Allow the game exe to antivirus program or Windows Security & Firewall, also allow Origin/EA app to your security
Step 11) Delete the save game file, this will result in loss of game progress
Step 12) Update Windows 10/11, use Update Assistant/Installation assistant to update Windows

Step 13) Player Using Xbox Controllers: Install Xbox Accessories
Step 14) Disable full screen optimization
Step 15) Disable in game overlay in Origin or Steam and close other overlay applications
Step 16) Install Media Feature Pack: If you are using N versions of Windows: support.micros... or Install normal Windows 10/11 editions
Step 17) Install DirectX:
Navigate to C:/Windows/System32 and delete d3dcompiler43.dll (Copy the file save it somewhere as a backup)

Step 18) Install free EA game like apex legends, run the game, close it and then run FIFA 23
Step 19) Install Visual C++ Files

Step 20) Do a clean installation of graphics driver

Step 21) Laptop users with dual graphics card run the game on dedicated graphics card
Step 22) Disconnect HOTAS, joystick, multiple monitors, unplug all the USB devices, Logitech wheel, Razer Tartarus gamepad, , Turn off vjoy, Razer Synapse (razor lighting effects) and MSI Dragon Center, corsair software, end nahimic services & lightingservice.exe in task manager, remove the undervolt
Step 23) close all the overclocking application, perform Cleanboot
Step 24) Launch the game in Windowed mode, lower down graphics settings
Step 25) Uninstall, delete the game folder, Reinstall the game to the different drive
When I uninstalled Face-it anti cheat my game finally launched. Thank you :)

My pc just shutdowns when I try to launch fifa. It’s says when I load origin that’s my ea play membership expires in 29 days and then it say under your payment couldn’t be processed so idk what the problem is
What worked for me was unplugging my Logitech Steering Wheel. I had the issue that the game was crashing right after start up. Maybe unplugging some USB devices works for you ;)!

I pre-purchased through Epic games, that just didn't work at all no matter what. I was able to easily get an instant refund since the playtime listed was a whopping total of 14s (LOL) and bought the ultimate edition via Origin (which is what I should have done from the start) and it worked just fine. Having said that, I had already enabled Secure boot in BIOS to get past that message and was still in complete unplayable limbo.
i tried uninstalling fifa 23 to reinstall but when the download completes it says something about repairing the files and then it just restarts the 2 hour long download for some reason.. do you have a fix?
I Disabled my CSM support then Enable Secure Boot. I Secured Boot custom, Updated my platform key(PK) then save & exit. NOW I HAVE BLACK SCREEN!!
I pre-ordered fifa 23, i fixed the secure boot with your help (thanks for that!) but i can't fix the black screen problem, i tried all the steps one by one multiple times and i am really tired. I press "Play" in the Origin it shows the anti-cheat from EA i get passed that and it opens a black window and after 5 seconds it closes! It's pathetic, EA FIX YOUR GAME!!!

My friend unplugged his logitech wheel and his game worked

FIX CRASH CAREER MODE FOR EDITED ROSTERS (PC)
-If you have too many created players put on a roster on PC the game will not tell you it is. Instead it will automatically drop the needed players to Free Agency if you try to enter Career Mode with your current edited rosters causing a crash after you choose which Cup your team will compete for.
-can test this by starting a UEFA quick tournament. Your roster will be missing created players.
-If you go to edited players the bottom ones that couldn’t fit on your wanted roster will be on FC Red Bull Salzburg but have a generic EA Sports kit and not be able to be found on this team (this is the glitch I think that causes the crash)
-Go to Club Transfers remove as many needed players from the team you want to use because the roster is too full
-STAY in Club Transfers your missing Created Players though it does not tell you they are.. have been moved to Free Agency.
-Transfer each player back to your team and save the roster.
-Restart your career with a new file and the crash should be fixed. Do not try to restart the previous crashed one.
-Hope this helped this issue I couldn’t find anywhere, better to have a new game than one that doesn’t work for Career Mode.
Brother my controller won't work in the game. When I'm in the main menu the with the controller turned on, it bounces around like crazy through all the menu options (like I'm holding left arrow and it is just going crazy over the menu). Once I turn my controller off, it stops .. I hope you know what I mean.. Not sure what to do and you're help would be tremendous! Thank you!

UPDATE : The controller works now!.. Make sure you guys are running the game through steam, with the Xbox Accessories being downloaded on your PC, so it configurates through steam..
Make sure you complete exit out of Epic games and Origin.. Run the game through Steam and it should work!

Nothing, secure boot is a requirement for the fifa 23 anticheat… if your pc doesn’t support it then you’ll need to upgrade

Actually this time you can change the graphics settings inside the game .... Game settings > Display config .....and there you can change resolution and rendering quality
