I can't forget the smile on Emm Nader (mother of Nader) at Castle Bake in Edmonton. I bet she can make kibbeh balls blindfolded each perfectly-shaped. She is widowed and has 11 kids working in this successful Lebanese family business. I can feel their food is authentic and homemade, especially when you know the mother is working in the kitchen. Waleed's Pizza Place, Mona's Pizza, has great fresh looking pizza, and I hope he will have more success in his businesses. He is also a DJ. To accomplish in 5 years what Waleed did as an immigrant in a foreign country is no small feat. Congratulations Waleed and thank you for taking care of Anthony's transportation and tour. We are proud of you!
The cold snowy weather brought many memories from the west. Anthony, you were successful translating and reflecting the sensational mood of the season. You are lucky to have a supportive team that allow you to enjoy the few days you are spending there. Having to live independently with these conditions on a daily bases and a work commitment, is a totally different experience. Dr., you might not like, so enjoy your time with loving companions taking care of you.
I can almost promise that everyone will ask for that yummy burned pizza from now on! wonderful vlog and city.

I lived in Edmonton. Last December 2022, we got -30 in the evening and -25 @noon.
What you experience is nothing compare to what we have to deal with every winter.

Keep an eye out for Ralph's chicken. They were a Lebanese family that ran a corner store in Strathearn heights. They had the best fried chicken. Unfortunately they closed the entire strip mall. Rumor has it that they are trying to find a place in the south side to set up shop

idk but this is my opinion , we saw ur video and we went to the restaurants that u have recommended , so the results .... didnt even like those , zataar from castle bake was not good at all , only the dough was fine , akawi cheese wasnt even akawi cheese it seemed like halloumi mixed with mozzarella cheese . Roots of Beirut is the best out of all of them , its not for me those restaurants , all the respect to the others but i have a taste in food and idk how people eat and like the food there ....
