Pay backs are hell aren't they? Isn't that the style of hockey the NHL wants?

In a sense, he kind of did. He certainly talked like it was something he knew about mainly because he took part in it. -Simon

There should never be disciplinary action for anything done to Marchand

That was a punch. Come on. If you can’t see that you’re lying to yourselves.

      Get over it.
Yes, he was punched and had he been caught would have had a 2 minute minor for roughing in a game where the Bruins didn't show up to play.
      Would have made no difference.

@@gc8620 should’ve been a suspension. If that happened to Connor Mcdavid you know that would’ve been. Suspension. And no, I’m not going to “get over it”. There is an officiating problem in this league. It needs to be fixed. If seen some abhorrent penalties called and some nasty non-calls as well. There is an issue in the NHL and it needs fixing.

What is so controversial about that hit? Not a fan of Bennett, he passed the puck, saw Marchant coming, tucked his arm in and braced for contact initiated by Marchant. Contact is a part of the game, at least it used to be. Players are too SOFT in the new NHL.

I don’t disagree with you on the hit, the only real reason that we are talking about it was Marchand’s comments afterwards. It was a playoff hockey hit, simple as that. -Simon

You've got to be kidding. Brad Marchand as victim?? He's been on the other end many many many many times. The guy is built for play-off hockey because he has no problem crossing the line and the refs put their whistles away. Wish he was on my team but no sympathy for the devil here.

That is the wild thing about him coming out and saying that. Pot calling the kettle black lol. What he said is very true about playoff hockey as a whole but definitely came from the wrong person. -Simon
