Did she actually run in a Primary? As I recall she dropped out very early, not even garnering any support from other fellow Democrats in California. Her Vice-Presidency has been ceremonial at best.

@@yvonneplant9434 Kamala Harris announced her presidential candidacy in the Summer of 2019... but ended up dropping out of the race in December of 2019, as her campaign had run out of money. Her ratings were extremely low among the Democratic candidates, and she stopped campaigning even before the very first Primary in 2020.

While they see few exceptions, but a very healthy economy under Biden’s plan benefiting everyone who makes less than 450k a year, because anyone making less than 450k will not see a tax increase at all.

Everyone knows that you can always find something that a politician didn't do. What we should focus on is what she did. And I don't mean just this week, just this year, I mean over her lifetime. As VP, she has championed a number of issues. She is part of the administration who can say their policies helped turn around the economy. The economy in the USA is chugging along, with good results all across the board. As for the border, which Trump has incited his followers about, for years, including his bogus plan to build a wall, his friend Steve Bannon is facing fraud charges. When it comes to border security, the Democrats presented a plan that was quickly turned down by the Republicans. Why? They turned it down because Trump didn't want Joe Biden to get the credit for "fixing the border." Being a racist and a hater, Trump would prefer to have a large deportation of migrants, to make a spectacle of them. His hateful comments, including that migrants are poisoning the blood in the USA, is extremism at its worst. In a world where our differences are our strength, Trump demonizes everyone who does not fit his "idea" of 'being white enough." He is not fit to be the President of the "United" States, and he is trying to break the country.

If the Dems say that the only alternative is Kamala Harris, who fell like a rock in the 2020 Dem primary, then they lose all legitimacy in picking their best candidate. A "party insiders" choice is undemocratic.
No one ever accused them of being consistent - screaming Democracy but preventing any challengers to Biden in the "primaries" and keeping opposition off the ballots of some states.
Running Harris as the top candidate would be a disaster as many independent Biden voters would skip that part of the ballot if she were the POTUS candidate.

I am all for President Harris. I was set to vote for her in the primary in 2020 but she'd dropped out before she got to my state. That said - I voted for Biden in the primary this year. He is the one I chose. I would rather not have the DNC do a shell game and substitute someone I did not vote for as the nominee.
Plus I find this hysteria in the media over one poor debate performance to be wrong. Biden has a history of being rather well kept for his age. He did 90 minutes of a bad performance in a debate format that was difficult to deal with - 2 minutes to discuss complex issues was not great. And Biden, for all his poor performance, was making points that made some sense as opposed to a Trump that was literally lying at a higher rate than normal. I find this ageism in the media to be atrociously wrong.
I'd vote for former 1st Lady Stormy Daniels over tRUMP any day of the week.

IF he succeeds in holding the white house, he will step down before term, in favor of Harris. maybe a week after inauguration, maybe two years in. I want Kamala Harris to be the president. I’m 70 years old, independently wealthy, and frankly I don’t care about food and energy costs, national security or the border. I do care about interest rates and a couple other things but it’s not going to make or break me. I want to be entertained from Washington. I think Kamala Harris is funny, and seeing her managing the United States would be great fun!

Even if President Biden needs to go to Sleep at 9 PM, starts work at 10 AM and takes a 2 hour break in the afternoon, he would still work more efficiently than Trump. Kamala Harris has never, ever had good approval ratings. Ever! She was the first to drop out of the democratic primary in 2020 due to lack of interest. She never even appealed to Blacks. Since she became VP her approval ratings have been in the tank! Biden’s people were pressuring him to bet rid of her and choose someone else to be his VP for 2024. WHY allow her to be our democratic nominee when she’s so unpopular???!!! She has never even once inspired me. She’s a lightweight. Biden never should have chosen her in the first place.
If Kamala takes the driver's seat, I'll definitely vote for her! I think she should choose Liz Cheney as her VP. That would win the sane Republicans vote and help heal the country.

Whoever was on Bidens debate team needs to be relieved of their duties, as the last Biden vs Trump was a debacle. Biden was not ready to debate, due to lack of rest, and a cold, and they should have been aware of this prior to the debate. Also, Biden needs to make a change on his Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, as he is not doing his job effectively and is making the Democratic party look bad.
To me the most ridiculous part of this broadcast is making much of the difference in what the Press Secretary said and what was later said about Biden seeing a doctor. This kind of communication problem happens ALL THE TIME. It doesn't mean anything unless you jump up and down on it and set your hair on fire. The failure to get Biden out and meet the public in an unstructured event for a whole week after the debate embarassment is a problem. Biden needs to be before the public and talk to them. He should have another full physical and mental testing. We need to know the results. IF they aren't good then he should end his campaign, turn the campaign over to Kamala Harris, and at the beginning of August resign the presidency and turn that over to her too. That's why we have a vice president. If his physical and mental test are up to stuff then he can proceed as is. IF it's not, then do the right thing.
