If you are in the 35% you should be fine. I’ve seen people keep feeding them the same food from the start to the end, just the proportions/amount of pellets fed, changes.
Great video man! Nice to see more people raising tilapia at home. I have a few videos on my channel showing how I made the bigger canister type filters you talked about. If you have any questions about them, I am no expert, but I have some experience and happy to try to answer any questions I can
Thank you, and yes i will definitely reach out if I got questions! Been really busy on my end and didn’t get a chance to build that filter yet but hopefully I get to it soon lol
Believe it or not, they can be very dangerous fish. They grow & breed worst than rabbits. People get tired of them & through them into our lakes and streams where they will eat everything they can get their mouth around. They can destroy any area they are let loose in. They are a pain in the butt. Think of this before you buy one.
If i ever do get tired of them (which i can tell you i won’t lol), they will just end up on my dinner plate. I know how invasive tilapias can be and don’t worry, they are not leaving my aquarium. I will definitely breed them, but its for personal consumption only!
Tilapia fish will eat anything you give to them but I wouldn’t give dog food to them. It may lack extra minerals and vitamins thats required for fish growth.
Depends on how you raise them. When they are little, they need the food to be a certain size otherwise they won’t be able to consume it. My fish gets 2-3 rounds of pellets every day, so they know what food is and can differentiate between food, other fish and poop, and if poop was to enter their mouth, they spit it out!
The pepper grinder idea is genius!
lol thank you!
Thank you this helped a lot
Glad to hear it helped!
Short. To the point.
Hope you enjoyed it!

thank u so much. As I am a beginner this helped a lot
Glad it helped!
great shirt!
Thank you!
Can I keep it at 35% protein and play it safe or do I need to stick in that range

Can you grind dog food and feed that to the small tilapia?

I need video of tilpa fish
I eat from top too, but keep eating to bottom, till all food is gone.
