This is about the simplest, yet fully packed aquaponic presentation I've watched so far.
I'm more inspired than before.
Thanks a million.💓
Thank you, this is so encouraging to hear!
I am barely doing my homework regarding all this 🤞🏽
@@AgricultureAcademy?X4174 to n the r,
Very nice beautiful technique
@AgricultureAcademy thank you for this video
Brilliantly explained in just 5 minutes. Ideal for someone who wants to try this system.
This is the video I was looking for, shows exactly everything and how each part plays it's roll. Thank you so much :)
You're very welcome!
Getting ready to build my second and larger system. My first was a backyard 400sqft greenhouse and had a 275gal fish tank, bioflitration system, swirl filter, deep water culture and nft set up. My next build will be a 20x60' with 2 275gal tanks each going into a swirl tank, then bioflitration but one side will be deep water culture and the other will be Dutch bucket. The Dutch bucket will produce vegetables and I'll be able to control the nutrients according to their requirements. The other will be growing leafy greens like lettuce and kale. I plan on having one fish tank with tilapia and the other koi. I'll eat the tilapia and sell the koi. Can't wait to get started!!!
This sounds so exciting! Best of luck with everything
Hey buddy good luck with ur system and i wish all the best... I my self about to start my first commercial system and i really need help.. Please if u can guide me and provide me with tips till i Stand on my feet i would be so grateful to u for the rest of my life.. Since its my first project... And ur effort wont be for free ofc .. Please if u read this help me 🙏
@@ASTRO-ri6ex check out the school of aquaponics you tube channel. Brooklyn is the master at it and I learned a great deal of information from just watching his channel. He also has a book with great information too. Let me know if this helps. Just trying to lead you to the real master!!!
@@neckbone3943 heyy man... Yeah i watched most if his videos hhhh and how no to be a biscuit headed grower.. But doing a commercial system on my own is another story and i would love someone to talk to and share results with and also get tips and guidance till i get this done.. Hope u get what i mean
@@ASTRO-ri6ex ok, in good with that but I'm far from a pro. With my next system, I'm sure I'll be going through some trial and error myself. Whatever I can do to help, I will.
I finally learned the difference between hydroponics (plants grown in water) and aquaponics ( plants grown in water from fish tanks). I will definitely be doing some aquaponics here on Alkebulan Farm in Ghana
My background is not agriculture but when I am watching this video I learn something new here . Your video is so informative. Thank you for sharing this .
Ah we love to read comments like this, thank you!
Just started watching and I already love it I’ve been wanting to try this myself for many years now
Thank you!!
It would be a good plan to have some volunteer people to work together in support groups for helping residents with yards to instruct and basic training to set up small to medium systems for those who have the desire to do these!
I am inspired, straight to the point. Thank you for such an amazing information.
Thank you for this video. You really made my work a lot more easier.
Fantastic to hear!
love the video, it is brief and yet thorough
This is the most full filled content about particular topic. I've ever seen
I would love to start this. Thank you for your simplified explanation
Incredible experience and smooth explanations with fantastic presentations. Thanks
High levels of dissolved oxygen promote healthy root growth. ... When there's less oxygen in the water than there is in the plant, this reduces the permeability of roots to water, therefore reducing (even reversing) the absorption of nutrients.
Levels of 8 mg/l or higher are
generally considered to be good for greenhouse production and much higher levels, as high as 30 mg/l or more, are achievable and can be beneficial. If the DO levels are below 4 mg/l, the water is hypoxic and becomes very detrimental, possibly fatal, to plants and animals.
This is the basis of success to hydroponics, aquaponics.
Also, water temperature will play a major difference in those DO levels.
The dissolved oxygen rather than those nitrates.
As plants will take up the essential nitrates needed through the growth cycles.
I’m an aquascaper and I have a big interest in aquaponics
Thank you for the valuable info at [3'10s], I will be following your channel.
Thank you. As a beginner, I learn so much from the video. I am willing to start from a small tank as a try. Tq
Chuffed to hear this!
All those green plants look beautiful and relaxing :)😊😉👍
There are several factors in studying aquaponics. One plan I found that succeeds in merging these is the Keiths Ponics Site (google it if you're interested) definately the most incredible course i've seen. look at this unbelievable website.
I love agriculture watching from Ghana
Greetings from South Africa!

I am an agricultural student from India I am very much interested in hydrophonics aquaphonics and vertical farming which are the future of agriculture . But I don't know about how to begin these can somebody help is there any courses or internships i can do about it
It's already been three years since then.
The days go by so quickly.
The ``AQUA Ponicus'' that you taught me has been passed on to other non-developed countries so that everyone can eat safe food.

I want my system like this farm someday
👏👏👏
nice informative & knowledgeable video but i got one question
AS u stated that
NITROSOMONOS bacteria exist in every dark place in AQUAPONICS
NITROBACTOR u didn't mention where that exists ?? can u please throw some light on it origin n habitat too ??
Thanks Sunil!
Both Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter are classified as nitrifying bacteria, which are in turn both sensitive to light. Other factors like extreme temperature, pH and fluctuations thereof will also negatively influence the activity of the bacteria.
Some research has indicated that the bacteria are more sensitive to light when they are suspended in the water, and become more tolerant once they have colonized an area. I have found an article explaining more about the effects of illumination on nitrifying bacteria if you would like to take a look: www.jstage.jst.go.jp/article/jgam1955/30/3/30_3_151/_pdf
Hope this helped!
I want to start an aquaponics business in Arkansas. Need a business plan. Thanks for the info.
Very interesting in this time of global food demand
I want to start this as a bussiness can you guide me on small scale
Hi there, at the moment we do not have any guides or courses available for the business side of aquaponics. www.aquaponicsdesigncourse.com/ - this course may be of help though!
you can start with hydronponic first then move to aquaponic when you get used to how it works.
@@apple-on5pq Nice tip!
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to uncover commercial aquaponics system plans pdf try Proutklarton Surviving Instruction Plan (do a google search ) ? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for building a proven aquaponics system without the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my m8 at last got amazing results with it.
I want to do a master on this topic so this video really was so powerfull.
Mashaallah. Very interesting valuable information .
How to determine that the nitrates have been used up and now safe to be returned to the fish tank?
There's all sorts of gizmos that provide that information. The water tests let you know what's going on with the water
Am sticking to water and soil. Looks and sounds complicated
The main obstacle in aqua/hydroponic farming is its cost. Govt should provide some subsidy to encourage this type of forming in Indian villages too
a great video about aquaponics.
Very interesting and so inspirational... What is the substance using during seedling ?
I like to start Aquaponics agriculture but how can i study that...variety of fish and plants
Near by agriculture university..
There are a lot of aquaponic/hydroponic youtuber.
Nice...would love to start 1 back home
what is the ideal pH , Electrical Conductivity ( EC ) , The Sodium adsorption ratio (SAR) and residual sodium carbonate (RSC) of water in Aquaponics farming ?
Hey there! A lot of this would depend on the plants and fish you are growing
thanks🙏🙏🙏
Hi, im just starting aquaponics.. how long does it take to turn amonia into nitrate and get the cycle running in the system?
Excellent. How we can engage few landless farmer into this system.
And here we are
Great video. Brief and concise.
Thank you!
How do you treat the water if certain unhealthy contents are too high ?
Thank you
This video is very good, I like greetings from Indonesia
Thank you 😊
How do you plant in the small container, do put the seeds in the gravel or grow seedlings then plant in the gravel.
You put the seeds in a wooly like fabric and wait till they sprout, then they go into the flats which float on the water
How much area is required for a basic setup and how much does it cost? Who are the suppliers? ...
Thank you for the detailed explanation.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for sharing this 🙏, My question
How can we test water, it’s enough nutrients or not?
Hmm interesting & understandable
Cool looks like I have all I need lying around from past projects. Aside from live fish.... that would be weird.
😅😅 that would take recycling to a whole new level
what fish are often used for aquaponics sir,thx
In my experience, tilapia
great, thanks
Thanks for sharing this video. This is absolutely very useful for me who is studying at BYU-Idaho online majoring in agribusiness. I am also currently deepening the hydroponic system of growing vegetables and fruits. I wish I could combine them. I need to learn more from you. I have many questions for you. Do you have a video tutorial on hydroponic? Thanks a lot.
Hi there! Good luck with your studies. Yes we have a tutorial on hydroponics, you can find it here ruclips.net/video/V0BrgBF9IQM/видео.html

How to save the tent around the Hydroponic system from heavy wind and heavy rainfall????
Also there may be flood due to heavy rainfall......
Please let me know How to save this Hydroponic System.... from above problem....
The water in the filter before going back to fishpond it must go first to the plants? That how works the aquaponics?
It was really much helpful... But the ebook is not available .. Can you please make it available... Waiting for reply❤️
We have updated the links if you would still like to take a look!
