We have to remember that Kyle was infected with a completely different version of the virus than Aiden was. Kyle had the original version only found in Haran where nothing would prevent the transformation into a zombie, but Aiden was infected by the altered version where UV prevented transformation.
Well the harran virus could be delayed by antizen for extended periods, but in the end once you're infected with either strain it's only a matter of time.
What about the following?

It slowly turns its users into Infected, albeit able to control themselves during the day while still turning feral at night. The Mother herself is one of the sentient, mutated Infected, whose use of the elixir has granted her control of her faculties during the daytime.

Weird how techland can create 2 very interesting characters in Aiden and Kyle, but the story always seems to lack what they have.

Love how this man uses everything to his advantage. Using story cut scenes to completely change the narrative of the story gives it that boost of authenticity to make it feel like, in another timeline, this really could've been the actual story. Can't wait for part 2! It's like waiting for a tv show to drop its final episode.

My money's on sentient volatile since the ending where the Mother forces a vial of what made her into a volatile down his throat is canon

@@El_Hornio_II maybe the night hunter is a sentient volatile, a really mutated one. In that case it would make sense for it to be Crane.
With only 13 minutes you made a better story that the one we actually got.

@@d-stroyer6888 i wouldnt say the story is bad but it feels REALLY rushed and kinda unfinished especially in the ending. It seems like they wrapped up the story because the game would've been much longer if the story played out like they wanted it to originally

This man used cutscenes, voice lines and character models to his advantage to make this, and it's amazing.
I hope they bring the alpha volatiles back in the Dying light 2 DLC, I wonder how the blue armor would look on them
considering how the normal volatiles already look pretty armored I'm guessing they'll look like mini demolishers

This video alone was like 500 times more interesting than the actual story, Jesus Christ! And all you did was switch around a couple of characters, scenes, dialogue, and added Crane. If something to this caliber is the DLC, I will be more than pleased! Fantastic job my guy!

I really hope that one day tech land would add a “Play as Kyle Crane” option if you do new game plus on the hardest difficulty or in a Easter egg or even in a dlc

Good short film for the fact that it only uses mods and scenes/voice lines from the game. It sounds a little cheesy sometimes when you've played the game and know where the voice lines are from, but to someone who hasn't played the game, I imagine it would be absolutely flawless. Great job. I'm waiting patienly for part 2.

Holy. Shit. This was amazing, really so good. The volatile crane chase reminded me of the 'Run Boy Run' trailer from the first game. The story setting here is obviously amazing but the gameplay is also great, makes me want to get the game even more. Truly man you're really talented. Cannot wait for Part 2. I played dying light and dying light 2 I kind of wish this would be a dlc where you can find crane as a zombie that can talk to you in a uv lamp room to get more story missons
Boss fight would be cooler, both in their turned forms. And at the end if the fight the UVs get turned on to break it up because Crane would regain his mind and Aiden would have no reason to fight further

The ending is insane how it turns out that Waltz is actually Aidens and Mias dad, I was thinking near the end like “hol up, what if the ending is like Waltz ending up being their dad”, a weird ending but cool too

Yooo this is so dope well made man! I can understand why crane would want everyone from the GRE dead after all its their fault the world came to a end, and why crane ended up turning a zombie!
That’s the motivation i imagined for crane when I was coming up with the concept. It made so much sense to me because after 15 years of being a zombie, and losing everyone he cared about, I feel like this was a pretty logical arc to his character, especially since he has to kill humans when night hits

@@mispap1 when will part 2 come out? this is SICK!!! Also, how many parts is this gonna be? Its well-made even if your using the gameplay from dying light 2, and, when the final battle of the entire series of this is out, will it be in X13? If so, I have some ideas that can help boost the series:
- Make X13 really use aidens skills ALOT more, this includes grappling, and extra dialogue so it’s not awkward when Aiden fades off against crane.
- I’d love to see you to do the jump boost (jumping off a NPC) and slamming the floor with a 2 handed weapon, I think it’d really be cool to include!
- Allow yourself to get some damage, like falling down!
- Have extra dialogue during cutscenes
also, your aiden impression is awesome! and I think you should deepen cranes voice more, so it sounds more creepy and more insane!
I would love if at the end of this small little series, you could have a montage of memories from the G.R.E and crane in dying light 1!
@@Tuxin1 it’s gonna be only 2 parts. The second one will feature the entirety of. X-13 but from a completely different angle, like this video. I’m definitely gonna try to include more combat mechanics in next episode. Also I wanted to keep his voice deeper but I’m new to voice editing and the deeper I made his voice, the harder I found it to actually understand what he was saying so I tried to find the best balance. With dialogue, I think sometimes that less is more. I can say for sure tho that there will be more dialogue in next episode!! Thanks for your comment, I love to read your thoughts and ideas! I’m also def gonna add some DL1 scenes in the next one!

This is the best fan short story ever
This feels like this would be a really good expansion dlc. There's no way the following is going to be the last we hear and see of crane so I think we could have a battle between aiden and crane sooner or later. Or possibly a mentor student bond going on if crane is able to talk before it must come to the moment where they need to fight due to their ideals on something and can be different endings depending on who wins the fight.
Think they would get along unless Crane has changed. Maybe start with a boss fight and at the end either UVs get turned on or they both fall through a window/wall into the sunlight while brawling which would cause Crane to regain himself and stop the fight. Crane could stay as a quest giver after that, both of them heading on missions together

We all know what happens to Crane in the multiple ending you can get but it would be cool as like a extra story dlc to see Aiden and Crane be together and actually play side by side maybe like a friend plays as Crane as you play as aiden or you can switch between aiden and crane

Crane has been a sentient volatile for 15+ years so I’d say it depends on circumstances
Crane as a human Crane could jump off a five story building and survive he could get shot and it would be a scratch he has more durability now and strength as well as experience with the virus for years it's a easy W for the legend crane
