I love how excited that lady got when he was talking about the guys journey.
Story was worth more to her than the valuation.

Wow great appraisal
It does look fragile. Herman Miller chairs in general are not well suited to seat big guys like the gentleman making the appraisal here. They’re perfect for people of small stature.

When they were new they probably didn't last because people used them day in and day out and enjoyed life. It's like people today they are not worried about wearing something out because some day it will become a valuable antique after their dead and someone could make a profit hehe.
Me hobbling around with my cane and needing somewhere to sit. All 247 pounds of me finds this chair...Oops...new appraisal $4 to $6....😯
