Kalorik Battery Operated Salt & Pepper Grinders

Short video of these Kalorik Battery operated salt & pepper grinders.
I got these as a 5yr anniversary gift from my work... however, these do not operate as one would think.
I think the battery housing or the switch is bad in the pepper mill...
Did this video to show Kalorik themselves the issue.
These are not ever 6 months old, and the pepper has done this since day 1....
We'll see if they warranty the one....

How do you open them up and add salt?

There's a place you can slide open in the top part to refill.
