  • Working with Flashforge to find issues with my new 3D printer.
Fan was making noise, took apart, reinstalled and no more noise.. hmmm.
Took the extruder, heating element and the nozzle off to show conditions.. Scratch marks are from my screw driver and wrench while taking apart... everything seems to be good, but looks could be deceiving.
I've tried 220, 210 and 200 degrees. Print seems to print OK, but then all of a sudden the filament stops, then continues on.. and then the print is junk...
First 3D printer, and not sure I'm liking this new hobby.. over $60.00 in reels of filament and not a whole lot of successful prints...
    Flashforge, please help....

After running some jobs for about 2 weeks, my filament was not melting so good and was clogging even at 250 degrees. I replaced the nozzle with an all metal head from micro-swiss which does away with that plastic tubing. For good measures I replaced the heater and thermocouple and all is well now. Seems that brass nozzles are not as good.

what filament are you using. Sounds like could be some low quality filament...
