- This is a series of videos taken on February 6th & 7th.
This is for warranty replacement from Flashforge, sorry for the length, but already cut it down as best as possible to this 36 min video.
I just replaced the heating nozzle, the heating element, the PTFE tube and the heating sensor. I just received all of these parts under a warranty from Flashforge.
The bed would not level with the software on the machine, had to go to the web to find out how to manually level the machine with a piece of paper.
The head stopped printing in the last segment of the video, if I wasn't close by my house could have burned down. Imagine if I was outside working in the garage..... my house could have been gone in no time. I walked away for the Super Bowl half time show and that is what I came back to....
This machine has been a headache from day one. Leveling issues, heating issues.... and now it just turns off, stops running but keeps heating... Not a quality machine in my book.
Hopefully FF will replace this with a quality machine.
you should do an heat build. printing at 215 is way to hot for finders. I am running around 185/190c. That clicking noise in your first video is something with the nozzle leading in the filament. Did Flashforge said anything? And -1.1 should be good.Paper should still slide. If it grabs, go back 0.1, so -1.1 And how manny layers do you print, since that side of that beam is verry thin. It looks rough but that is ok, but the thinness is concerning. Normally FF Finders 2.0 printers are pretty ok printers for the money.
Underextrusion.. your print lines are not "smooshing" into each other. Try upping the multiplier in you slicer software a little and see if it improves. If that doesnt work - best to sell it and buy a Prusa LOL!!! :) (You'll never look back) - Take care.
Ye Prusa Mini+ is nice machine...
