I'm substituting smoked Turkey butts and imma make these jawns!
If you happen to over salt, try tossing in a couple big pieces of potato. The spud is supposed help remove some of the salt. I had to do this process twice with one pot of beans, it turned out alright.
From one chef to another, it’s best to bloom your seasoning herbs before adding water.
